JOSHUA & BARNABAS ON THE RUN

Your gifts provided Joshua and Barnabas two motor cycles for evangelistic work. They have been very successful, now satan wants to stop them by sending the police to arrest them. They are now on the run and we will send funds to sustain their families.

Joshua called and said that he and Barnabas are now on the run. At the beginning of May, there were some foreigners taught in their church, then the police came and recorded everyone’s name, fortunately they two were not on the scene. Since then they ran away. Later the police went to their homes many times, to their wives they left their phone number, and a paper which written “illegal religion”, wanting their wives to tell them to call the police. The wives said they’ve gone out to work. The police determined to find they two and interrogated some other co-workers once again. Joshua said all the church’s meetings were forced to cease.
These happened because they are in charge of a lot of churches covering a large area, and the police know there have been foreigners coming to them frequently. But they never seized them. Please Pray for them!

Orphanage update: After visiting the orphanages in Beijing, they feel better set up an orphanage in the capital city of their Province, because there are big hospitals and a governmental orphanage, they can take orphans from there. Joshua will go to visit that governmental orphanage. Each afternoon the prayer team prays for this project, they are still full of faith.
Philip (SD)called today and told me that in the last 2 days he finished reading Jon Dee’s book “Back to the Beginning”, he was very touched and excited about it, he repented before God and willing to be remodeled according to the book. He felt very shamed that he hasn’t been trained in formal theology and know little about the history of Christianity. Now he is hungry to learn and be equipped.
Titus served 3 years of hard labor in a Chinese prison. Because he was the leader of a large fellowship they treated him cruelly. They deported his wife because she was from Taiwan. For 2 years they have been trying to get her a visa back into Chine.
Hallelujah! Deborah said Titus’s wife could come to China to meet him now, the ban is released. She will come in July when her son’s vacation begins. Thanks for your prayer!
Anna asks; please pray for Daniel’s grandma’s salvation. She is over 90, lying in bed for many days and eats nothing, no speaking. She worships Buddha. Last time when she got sick seriously, there was a Christian friend who went to attend her for many days, I think she shared gospel with her. Thanks!
