Recent information from Italian Scientists that have been working on the Bird flu has announced that the potential cure for the virulent virus could have possibly been found. According to the National Institute for Infectious Diseases, tests have been run on “42 volunteers who have been vaccinated against seasonal influenza.” [msnbc.msn.com/id/22399522/]. Further, in the laboratory, they added H5N1 virus to the blood and found that in some of the volunteers immune system proteins called antibodies acted against the bird flu virus. [IBID]

Resourceinvestor.com interviewed Dr. Marc Faber, economist and editor of “The Gloom, Boom and Doom Report,” an economic and financial publication that promotes “against the grain investments.” The interview was especially interesting because he sees gold as still a contrarian investment. But first, Dr. Faber’s salient observations, which should be of interest to all precious metals investors.

Dr. Faber says economies are booming around the world, but that the U.S. is already in recession – if inflation (price increases) were measured properly. More economists are starting to say that the U.S. economy has turned down.

When asked about Alan Greenspan, Dr. Faber unloaded, calling Greenspan “a hopeless forecaster, a hopeless economist.” Faber faults Greenspan for denying that he created “this huge [subprime] mess by having kept interest rates artificially low for too long.” To Faber, Greenspan is “not a person that I would consider to be trustworthy in terms of either economic statements or forecast.” That’s a strong condemnation of a man whom the world at one time treated as royalty.

We have been warning about the coming conflagration that will involve Israel for along time.  The scripture below paints the picture very well. Israel, with Jerusalem as a centerpiece will become the eye catcher for all nations. They will behold it. At the center is the desire of nations to control this tiny little town, with Israel and all Jews Obliterated.

Zechariah 12:3  And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.

Part I – The Word Brought Forth

On the streets of New York a beggar is panhandling change from passersby. Across the street, near the theatre on Times Square, the marquee is showing the recent play. A businessman is talking on his cell, hurriedly moving towards an unknown destination, determination is on his face as he seems oblivious to all. A food vender is selling wares from his cart as the vapors are seen rising against the brick wall behind him. This scene is played in major cities in America today. Everyone is busy, has an agenda, and is unaware of the time.

Part II – Marching Orders for the Last Days

Jesus did not want us taken out of the world, but to remain here, in Him, but not part of the world. We are to have his joy, fulfilled in us. His word has been given to us. If his word is truly in us, then the world will hate us as it hated Jesus. In these last days, we are not be as chaff, but true vines, the true wheat, the real fruit, and the light in the world. Amidst the darkness, we are to be as beacons proclaiming the Son of God. Yes the world will hate us. The wickedness will increase. The harlot will rule and reign. The profane preachers and false prophets will declare lies and become our enemy. But the Lord prayed for us many years ago while on this earth saying, “do not take them out of the world, but keep them from the evil”. The evil, vile, wickedness and corruption of the flesh, which by lust does attack all people, but through Jesus Christ, we are set free, delivered, and empowered to live above these things. The light of the world is in us, we are the reflectors. The power in Him is in us. The Father in Him is in us. The Love of the Father in Him is in us. Again, in these times, Jesus Christ doesn’t call us to fear, but to have faith and stand tall in Him. In these days, let us sanctify ourselves wholly, by giving everything we have, are, and will be to Him, the Son of God. Let us set ourselves aside to His purpose in these last days. We must let his Word be our guide, thus sanctifying us. Let Him be the living Word in our souls, thus saving us, and let us proceed as he has directed us, for our marching orders have been given.
