The Winds of Prophecy: Blood Red
‘blowing in the greatest battle of all time’

The winds are blowing here today, which is not unusual. As it does, I did thank the Lord for nicer days this last week. It had definitely warmed up. For all this, we are entering into spring soon, with winters chill behind. Yet as we do the world wide winds of prophecy still move forward.

Recent news have come to our offices this week from one of our WARN Radio guests. The Lt Col and I spoke on the phone. He told me “we have avian flu here.” I thought for a moment. “Avian”, I repeated. “Yes, it is not the most virulent kind, but it has hit here.” The flu, ‘bird flu’ to be exact or ‘avian flu’ has been in the news for years. There has not been a major outbreak yet, but scientists have been saying it is coming. We had Prophet Deckard on who has prophesied for years of its arrival. He had given our listeners steps to do for preparedness. I had done research on it and everything pointed to its arrival. “Do you think this flu the Lt Col spoke about is the one which will mutate and be the epidemic?” my wife asked. I did not know. I do know one thing I related to her, it is coming. It has to be able to spread air contact and person to person. There is no doubt, many things are coming and we must be prepared spiritually and physically.

As with most, we had a lunar eclipse. This is the event when the moon will turn red as it passes through Earth’s shadow. This will create a total lunar eclipse. It will be the last such eclipse until 2010. For most, this will pass by as nothing. Yet for prophecy followers and end time prophecy buffs, this has great meaning for a red moon is a symbol of where we are at. We the scriptures say, “the moon will turn into blood”, and also the “sun will be turned into darkness”, we see special eclipses of both. With both being major prophetic events.

Joel 2:31  The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come.
Acts 2:20  The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come:
Revelation 6:12  And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;

Many others have seen such eclipses as a ‘special event’. Do you know the true story of Christopher Columbus and his fourth voyage to the new world? Well it is too long to relate it all now, but he knew of the forth coming eclipse of the moon and this knowledge saved him and his crew from starving and from the savages that surrounded him. It was Christopher who told the chief of the tribe that God was angry and would remove the moon from the sky. The local Jamaican chief and his tribe watched in horror as the moon was indeed removed. The result was the tribe providing food for Columbus and his crew.

It was also during the crusades that an eclipse was to have brought good tidings to the crusaders in battle. Many stories abound of the tide of battle turning during such events. For many still today, an eclipse is a foreshadowing of something. God uses the event in scripture to reveal the soon coming of Jesus Christ.

Moreover the supposed Mahdi has a prophecy connected to his arrival. One of prophecies suggested that a duel eclipse of the sun in 1894 is the type of such an event that will bring in the Mahdi. The prophecy says that the moon will get eclipsed the first day of the days of Ramadhan and the sun will eclipse in the middle of the date of Ramadhan. There is some confusion, however as to the actual event of 1894. Others say such an event as a precursor to the Mahdi will not happen.

In all this, the winds of prophecy blow across the worlds, cultures, and religions. Everyone knowing something is coming. I do not mince words. For us, there is only one view, period. Jesus Christ is Lord, his Hebrew messianic title is Yeshua HaMassiach, Lord of Lords and King of Kings. It is he who will rule and reign. It is he who will cast down all enemies of the Father. The battle for truth is heating up and the lukewarm church in America had better repent or she will be cast down. The Lord God is calling all his true sons and daughters to gather and ready themselves for the battle. The day is far spent, the night is upon us, and the moon has already turned to blood. Now, the pathway to the biggest, most virulent time on earth is underway. This my friends, is the time of the end.

As the winds continue to blow outside my office, I look at the mountains. The snow covered them pretty well this year. As a matter of considerable joy, many of our mountains have done well with snow pack. This will boon well for the ranchers and farmers in the area. Water should be plentiful this year. But then, we are in the season of the end times, just before the full blown, “Jacobs trouble”, and live in a nation where judgment is coming. The sins of America, a nation who once related the light of Jesus Christ in many areas is now pagan, Idolatrous, and has many Gods. The judgment is coming, so only the sovereign Lord knows how soon his judgment will come. When living in these times, faith in the Lord is paramount as is trust. We must trust his Word, and Him; that is to say, believe that when it is time, he will deliver us out of the judgment.

Back in the 90’s I had many visions and dreams of what was coming. I have seen many of them happen, while others are yet to come. I will remember the droughts, fires, and the vision of the destruction in New York. I remember it well. It occurred just before 9-11. Nonetheless, a person who is of faith must walk by and is expected to walk by faith today. Just as the winds are blowing out my window, and they get fierce, so are the prophetic winds blowing around the world today and within that prophetic window of eternities clock, lies the soon arrival of Jesus Christ, Yeshua HaMassiah to this earth. We all await his return. Meanwhile while we wait, let me put you in remembrance of the prophetic mandate for the believer today.

We find this mandate in Revelation:

Revelation 12:11  And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death
Revelation 14:12  Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
Revelation 13:10  He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.
Revelation 14:12  Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

While many people have ideas scriptures and teachings, I give you four simple scriptures to help you walk in the mandate of the end times. Read and study the above carefully.

1. Overcome by “blood of the Lamb.”
2. Overcome through the “Word of our testimony.”
3. Overcome by not “loving our lives unto death”

By doing these three things, we are in actually proving:
1. We keep the commandments of God
2. Keeping the faith of Jesus

In all this, our patience must have its perfect work.

“We are to walk in faith, but have patience, the patience of the saints. As this end time prophetic picture erupts, the son of perdition will arrive. As he does, we will have faith, and walk as the Lord commanded. He has been given the power to ‘blaspheme heaven, blaspheme God, blaspheme Christians, and rule the world. He will be given power to make War with the Saints and overcome them. But this overcoming here is mere physical, on this earth. His power does not pertain to their souls, for the saints will lose their lives, but they will walk in mighty power in the end times. Do not believe for one second the God of the ages, the Lord of glory will let his people die in a powerless, weak knee, fluffy, secular driven church. For his people will literally come of these Babylon Whore houses of Idolatry. They will come out and be separate, walking in the power of God, the love of Jesus, and the anointing of the Lord God.

As the wind continues to blow let me expound a bit more. But let me also say, read two more scriptures in context. They are Luke 21:36, where you are commanded to “watch and pray” and Isaiah 21:6 “where the watchman is commanded to declare what he see’s.” Both are relevant today. For we must watch, pray, and understand the kingdom of God is coming. We must be ready. We must be prepared. We must be standing at the ready, the Army of the Lord to do battle for the souls of men in these last hours before the coming of Jesus Christ. The greatest battle of all eternity is coming soon to an earth near you, will you be ready? I am sure you will be.
