Through The Valley of Achor Enter the Door of Hope

A Psalm by the Watchman

Dana G Smith

Hosea 9:8 the watchman of Ephraim was with my God: but the prophet is a snare of a fowler in all his ways, and hatred in the house of his God.

Repent and seek Lord

Leanness, My leanness,

It shall come,

As with the Priest,

So with the Prophet,

And with the People,

There shall be leanness,

Fatness shall be removed from the land.

They shall ask on that day,

"What shall we eat?"

"Where are the delacies?"

For the Lord shall remove them!

As it is written,

"I hewed them by the prophets;

I have slain them by the words of my mouth:

And thy judgments are as the light that goeth forth."

For the Land is 'Joined Idols,

The people are possessed with the 'spirit of harlotry',

They have begotten 'Pagan Children', a generation

That does not know me, saith the Lord.

For a strange woman has embraced you,

With the kiss of a seducer,

She lures you even now.

Behold her bed is a pit of coals,

Her embrace a pot of fire,

Her aroma is of death.

Yet, you watch as she dances,

You hunger for her as she moves,

Your eyes are full of idolatry,

Your heart is full of desire.

Awaken oh Perverse Ones,

Flee this strange woman,

This Harlot who seduces you,

With the wine of your desire.

You have raised up 'Pagan Children',

With her you begat perverse ways,

O perverse nation,

You have nourished the day for slaughter.

Where will you go?

Who will give you safety from my hand,

On the day I rise to judge you?

For I have seen your iniquity.

I will punish your sins.

But there you will be found,

Yea, in safety, if you repent.

Turn from your idols.

Flee from your reckless ways,

Turn to righteousness,

Flee iniquity,

Come to the Lord,

That you might be saved.

For I will purge your sins,

I will remove your iniquity,

I will bring you unto myself,

I will heal your rebellious ways,

And restore you unto myself,

That where I AM,

There you may be also.

Found in the Lord thy God,

Dressed in His Righteousness.

Therefore, awaken Oh Child,

Be stirred to Repent,

For the children of night,

Yea they will be destroyed,

But the children of righteousness,

They shall be found blameless,

For it is written:

Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of the earth,

Which have wrought his judgment;

Seek righteousness, seek meekness:

it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the LORD'S anger. Zeph 2:3

And Again:

Sow to yourselves in righteousness,

Reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground:

For it is time to seek the LORD,

Till he come and rain righteousness upon you. Hosea 10:12

Jeremiah 6:10 To whom shall I speak, and give warning, that they may hear? behold, their ear is uncircumcised, and they cannot hearken: behold, the word of the LORD is unto them a reproach; they have no delight in it.
11 Therefore I am full of the fury of the LORD; I am weary with holding in: I will pour it out upon the children abroad, and upon the assembly of young men together: for even the husband with the wife shall be taken, the aged with him that is full of days.
12 And their houses shall be turned unto others, with their fields and wives together: for I will stretch out my hand upon the inhabitants of the land, saith the LORD.
13 For from the least of them even unto the greatest of them every one is given to covetousness; and from the prophet even unto the priest every one dealeth falsely.
14 They have healed also the hurt of the daughter of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace; when there is no peace.
15 Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? nay, they were not at all ashamed, neither could they blush: therefore they shall fall among them that fall: at the time that I visit them they shall be cast down, saith the LORD.
16 Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein.
17 Also I set watchmen over you, saying, Hearken to the sound of the trumpet. But they said, We will not hearken.

Ezekiel 33:2 Son of man, speak to the children of thy people, and say unto them, When I bring the sword upon a land, if the people of the land take a man of their coasts, and set him for their watchman: 3 If when he seeth the sword come upon the land, he blow the trumpet, and warn the people; 4 Then whosoever heareth the sound of the trumpet, and taketh not warning; if the sword come, and take him away, his blood shall be upon his own head. 5 He heard the sound of the trumpet, and took not warning; his blood shall be upon him. But he that taketh warning shall deliver his soul. 6 But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand.

Jeremiah 7:9 Will ye steal, murder, and commit adultery, and swear falsely, and burn incense unto Baal, and walk after other gods whom ye know not; 10 And come and stand before me in this house, which is called by my name, and say, We are delivered to do all these abominations? 11 Is this house, which is called by my name, become a den of robbers in your eyes? Behold, even I have seen it, saith the LORD. 12 But go ye now unto my place which was in Shiloh, where I set my name at the first, and see what I did to it for the wickedness of my people Israel. 13 And now, because ye have done all these works, saith the LORD, and I spake unto you, rising up early and speaking, but ye heard not; and I called you, but ye answered not; 14 Therefore will I do unto this house, which is called by my name, wherein ye trust, and unto the place which I gave to you and to your fathers, as I have done to Shiloh. 15 And I will cast you out of my sight, as I have cast out all your brethren, even the whole seed of Ephraim. 16 ¶Therefore pray not thou for this people, neither lift up cry nor prayer for them, neither make intercession to me: for I will not hear thee.

  1. Dana,
This is a true-heart rendered warning and hopeful calling message. These past mornings, I have been weeping for myself, and all who are in the valley of Achor. But as God has revealed to those who seek him, we will be tried and tested by the fire. Through this we will rebel or repent. And for those of us who already know and love and follow Jesus, we will understand, because he will demonstrate himself. He will be our firewall.. He is the same one who was in the fire with Shadrach, Meschah and Abednigo. He is Jesus Christ. He is faithful. Messiah Yeshua.
You have spoken of the World under the dominion of Satan, you have spoken of America before her total destruction. You have addressed yourself to her and her people that are the source of Harlotry and Idol worship amd witchcraft. You have said that starvation and physical want is coming. I believe it will come by way of the hand of the wicked. God has told me He will allow this. Will his people repent? Will His bride be willing to be made spotless? He cannot come until this is accomplished. He is always just and merciful, I hope many will realize this before it is too late. That is, before the fearful Day of the Lord when he brings full judgement to the unrepentant and those who worship the beast.
Today…..The trumpeters are trumpeting. Blessed be the Lord our God for his Long-suffering fruits. Blessed be those who seek him early in the morning and at noon and in the night.
I thank God for those of His who are here to witness and bare truth to our God, as he so lives to intercede and that through his death he did make a way for every sinner. The word ‘easter=ISHTAR’ may be of pagan origin….and I will not use it…yet I will remember always and will rejoice always that Jesus died for me on Calvary and was raised by secret plans of the Father. Jesus my Savior, the only begotten son of the Father, through atonement (blood sacrifice) and now; we too may cry ‘Abba Father’ and look forward with hope to His Kingdom Come.
I appreciate your Faithul service to the Lord Jesus and to the Fellowship of Believers and to the hearts of the unsaved.
I Thank the Lord always for you………
    Anna

  2. My concern is do we flee before the ‘cry goes out’, the one that wakes up all ten virgins, the cry ‘Babylon had been siezed’. OR do we flee when we hear the cry?? We are told, ‘Come out of her my people SO YOU DON’T partake in her plagues.’ Do we come out before the cry or after? I realize that some DO come out after and many will die by the sword coming out. I also see people possibly already in Horonaim (in Moab) when the cry of ‘devestation and great destruction’ takes place. Confused.
