Laying the Foundation amidst the Esoteric

The Esoteric, which is obscure, mysterious, arcane, cryptic, impenetrable and also brings to man that which he could not touch before, is what man seeks many times today. It is the chance to find out about the secret mysteries of life. It is that forbidden knowledge, as in the Garden of Eden when the serpent first approaches Eve with the promise of ‘being as Gods, knowing good and evil’. It is that mysterious, many times which draws men, like it did Eve. Even in the times of the Apostles, there were those who had come out from among the Apostles, and did so, leaving them behind and becoming teachers of a new esoteric Jesus.

1 John 2:18  ¶Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.
19  They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.

These new teachers, were made manifest, plainly revealing that although they had come out from among the believers and the Apostles, their doctrine clearly revealed they were not one of them. In this, the Apostle John warned the early church. Of these, we find those he writes about called “antichrists”. That which is ‘anti or opposite’ of Christ was the characteristic of these teachers. Doctrines that clearly showed they denied who Jesus Christ was.

Esoteric religion is not anything new. Man today, especially, bored with religions and man made organized systems of religious thought seeks and is attracted to new mysterious powers. We see this attraction in the malls today with the young people who openly follow various satanic, gothic, and new age cults. In these groups, they find new power, new thinking, and are promised the arcane and cryptic, that which was impenetrable now is open to them. They are led to believe all the religious and regular systems of beliefs are the old ways. That they now can enter into a new exciting avenue of power which is open to them. Of course, this is not the case. The argument is as old as the chief deceiver himself, Satan, or in the light of deception, he is ‘Lucifer the light bearer’.

The Apostle Paul found the new faith at Galatia troublesome. For in the time he had left, a new esoteric religious thought had entered. For the Apostle wrote immediately to confront the threat called ‘Gnosticism’. The first thing the teachers did was to implant doubt as to the doctrine and salvation to which Paul had delivered to them. In this the attack was simple, Paul was not an authorized Apostle, and he had forgotten to follow the law.

Judaizing teachers had persuaded the Galatians that Paul had taught them the new religion imperfectly, and at second hand; that the founder of their church himself possessed only a deputed commission, the seal of truth and authority being in the apostles at Jerusalem. [Jamieson, Faussett, Brown]

Galatians 1:6  ¶I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:
7  Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.
8  But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
9  As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

It is in this treatise, one of the pointedly blunt discussions of the gospel laid out. We find that indeed, there are angels and others [men or false teachers] who appear as the ‘angels of light’ bringing fresh revelation truth to the souls of men. Many times we have seen this as men who claim to have seen angels, Gabriel or Michael the archangel, or even God himself and found the truth. This truth then is brought to the forefront of society and in powers of light, from Lucifer; they bring deception to men and women everywhere. The Apostle Paul crucifies the notion that there is another gospel, even if it is brought by an angel or some man. He reveals that indeed there is not another gospel, but there will be attempts to bring such a message to men.

It is here that the Apostle lays out the defense of the gospel in the first course of business by re-enforcing the true gospel he taught and the ‘other gospel’ that had come to replace what he had taught them. He tells them pointedly that ‘even if an angel from heaven preaches any other gospel to you than that which you received, let him [the angel or anyone else] be accursed. He then repeats this by saying that if ‘any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.’ Here we find the Apostle repeating the fact of ‘let him be accursed, i.e. – the person will be under a curse & declared to be evil, anathema, and facing divine punishment. This then reveals what our number one objective should be! This is to stay in the bounds of God given, delivered salvation. This is done only through the Gospel of Jesus Christ, who was first prophesied to come by the Prophets, fulfilled by Christ when he came. He then delivered the gospel to the Apostles, who then gave it to the world. Here let it again be mentioned, there are other ‘gospels, other Jesus’, other means of salvation; all given by seemingly divine means. These other gospels are but a tool of the ‘antichrist and the new age movement’ driven by Lucifer himself to bring a tare into the harvest field of the LORD. But in the end, there is only one gospel, true to the Father, who sent his son Jesus Christ, Yeshua HaMassiach. It is this gospel, which Paul, Peter, John, and the other Apostles delivered to us. That is why there is only one truly God given, divine mandated gospel of Jesus Christ, Yeshua HaMassiach. This is and was the only one delivered by the Lord himself to his church.

RON PAUL WANTS IRS DEAD

RON PAUL WANTS IRS DEAD
Candidate tells crowds at Tax Day rally the money we earn should be our own

ron paul to the rescue

By Mark Anderson & Pat Shannan

Ron Paul supporters who swarmed the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol for the April 15 Freedom Rally came from near and far.

One dynamic duo from Maryland, Mike Hargadon and Collins Bailey, are both running for Congress on Paul’s platform. In fact, four of the eight people seeking House seats representing Maryland are on board with Paul on at least most issues.

Both won their GOP primaries and are cautiously optimistic that they may prevail in the November general election versus the Democratic incumbents. Bailey takes on U.S. Rep. Steny Hoyer, who has been in the House since 1980; and Hargadon is challenging Rep. Elijah Cummings.

They are optimistic partly because Congress is suffering from a low approval rating of 14%, according to a poll they cited. Any incumbent in
Congress is not altogether popular in the first place, they reason.

Still, Bailey lamented that the American people too often are brainwashed by a corporate media bent on playing favorites and goading the people into voting for the “projected winner.” Bailey recalled that he saw a statewide New Hampshire exit poll showing Paul would have won, provided you count the many people who paradoxically said they voted for McCain but would have preferred Paul, a classic case of the media-generated “projected winner” syndrome.

“We’ve got to get the American people to stand on principle and stop looking at elections like horse races,” Bailey said.

Bailey and Hargadon agreed that since some state’s primaries are mere preference polls, then Paul supporters at county and state GOP conventions can make some serious inroads (as many have in Washington state and Missouri) to challenge the rules so delegates are not necessarily bound to Sen. John McCain. They also said a number of people in other states are running for office in Paul’s spirit—a spirit that was clearly evident among the several hundred at the rally during its peak.

That spirit erupted loudly when the standard bearer, Ron Paul himself, spoke at the rally around 11:30 a.m., earlier than expected. He and his wife, Carol, were swarmed by autograph-seekers as the congressman made his way to the stage, where the patriotic rock band Pokerface later performed.

Paul briefly spoke of the need to eliminate federal income taxes and maximize freedom for the American people, among other issues.

“This is a day of remembrance,” Paul said, referring to the infamous April 15 tax day. He said the government needs to realize that “the money we earn is our own.” However, about 100 years ago, he said the U.S. government decided to start policing the world and telling others how to live. Soon, heavy taxation came along to underwrite this hegemonic approach.

“That concept is wrong . . . and un-American,” he said. He believes America needs “a free market, sound money and to mind our own business. . . .”

He added that there are a lot of Americans are waking up and need to be mindful that the results of the Republican National Convention in September, whatever they may be, are not the be-all and end-all of the national awakening, meaning that everyone must stay the course and do their part over the long haul.

“Great countries and empires come to an end for financial reasons,” he said, as the audience, many of whom were younger adults, repeatedly cheered. “What we don’t need is more management from the government; what we need is government to get out of the way. The system we have today divides us because everybody is clawing over a shrinking pie.”

Wanda Case came from North Carolina, where she has been a Ron Paul Meetup Group member in Asheville since early in Paul’s presidential campaign, which has been stymied by near nonexistent mainstream media coverage. Still, Paul has remained in the race because his supporters, such as Case, want him to do so.

“I first saw him in the Aaron Russo film,” she said, referring to the late filmmaker’s documentary, America: From Freedom to Fascism. The next thing Ms. Case knew, she was supporting Paul vigorously. In fact, she sang the national anthem for the Freedom Rally.

“I sang for the Ron Paul rally in Greenville (N.C.) in July 2007,” she recalled. “That’s where I met the Granny Warriors, and they contacted me and asked me to come and sing the anthem at this rally.”

College student Erica Sapp of West Virginia said she has learned a whole lot in a year’s time, going from a political neophyte to a well-informed person who now bears the burden of knowing lots of scary things about our troubled nation.

“I wasn’t interested in politics until one of my friends turned me on to him (Ron Paul),” she said, adding that, since then, the questions and facts about the 9-11 attacks, about the risks of government-mandated fluoride in the public water supply and other matters are, taken as a whole, unsettling.

Brent Sams, 25, of North Carolina, admitted that Dr. Paul cured him of his support for Mike Huckabee, the former Arkansas governor who dropped out of the GOP race. “I started realizing the views I have fall in line with Paul more than any politician I had ever looked at. I mean no NAFTA, get out of NATO and the U.N., and no North American Union.”

Huckabee, he said, revealed himself as a “big-government conservative.”

AFP talked to people from numerous states, and all shared the ubiquitous concern that Ron Paul has been blacklisted from coverage by the national media. Almost as many were cognizant of the computer vote fraud going on behind the scenes but frustrated as to what to do about it.

“We still have the fervor but have lost the momentum,” said Marci Ann of Michigan, speaking of her home state. “It seems that everyone gave up after the primary was over. And of course, the lack of media coverage hasn’t helped either, but we need to keep after those delegates’ seats.”

There are 66 delegates in Pennsylvania that are “unbound,” Andrew from Bucks County said. This means they are free to vote for Ron Paul (or anyone else) and not bound to cast a vote for John McCain at the convention.

“There are several other states that have those same rules,” shouted Kathryn over the din, but she wasn’t sure which ones they were. “But people from all states should check to see because they may be surprised to learn that their own delegates are not bound to McCain, either.”

Michael Moresso pedaled his bicycle 3,500 miles across country from Santa Monica, Calif. in time to campaign for Ron Paul in New Hampshire in January and has been roaming the East Coast attending the various primaries since then.

“Oh, I can tell you that Ron Paul is definitely the people’s choice,” said Moresso. “His signs dominated every state I went through. Matter of fact, I don’t remember seeing a single McCain sign anywhere. There may be a few up by now but not then.”

True to form, no news people from The Washington Post or The (allegedly conservative)Washington Times were visible at the scene and none from the local TV stations in the surrounding areas. Both newspapers
and broadcasters ignored the rally. All would have heavily covered a pro-abortion rally.

Recently, a subscriber wrote that, according to the Book of Revelation: “The anti-Christ will be a man, in his 40s . . . who will deceive the nations with persuasive language, and have a massive Christ-like appeal. The prophecy says that people will flock to him, and he will promise false hope and world peace, and when he is in power, will destroy everything. Is it Obama?”

How the Fed Buys an Ounce of Gold for 10¢

How the Fed Buys an Ounce of Gold for 10¢
A primer on how the bankers’ policies—and greed—have led us to the brink of disaster
By Pat Shannan

IN 1992, POLITICAL ADVISOR James Carville launched Bill Clinton toward the White House with the slogan “It’s the Economy, Stupid,” posted on the walls of every campaign office. He was on target but missed the bullseye. In reality, “It’s the Legal Tender, Stupid.”

A friend wrote that when his first great-grandchild arrived a few weeks ago, he thought, “Gotta start a little education fund for the tyke,” just as he had done with all his grandchildren. Then he reminded himself that the Federal Reserve had just promised to turn up the money-inflating machine, making any conventional savings program a waste of time—not to mention the money.

The weakness of the dollar makes any saving of dollar-denominated paper assets pointless. Why would any rational person, unless totally ignorant of what is happening, save a dollar in an account that pays less than 3% a year when the rate of inflation is 10% or more? Disregarding the “official” annual rates that are continual, boring lies, just reach back in your own mind to only one year ago. How much did you pay for eggs? Bread and other food items? Gasoline? And if you can buy any of those today for less than a 10% increase from 12 months ago, please tell me where to do it, because I can’t. These are the true inflation indicators— at your lunch counters, gasoline stations and supermarkets —not some figures from a government-funded, bureaucratic deceiver.

On my first sales job in the 1960s, I was traveling through 11 states throughout the southeast, and my daily lunch always cost between 65 and 75 cents of lawful money (silver coin), depending upon where I was and how much I wanted to splurge that day. (Oh, how wonderful it was to blow an extra dime and sit in a first class joint.) And I filled the tank of my old Chevy for four bucks.

A few years ago, when your average plate lunch of an entrée and two or three veggies, with iced tea included went to exactly ten times the 1960s figures, I began to talk and write about it, remembering that nothing had changed about the meal except the price. The buildings were just as modern, the floors and tables were just as clean, the restrooms still needed attention and the waitresses were just as sassy. Only the price had gone up.

But then I remembered my independent education about lawful money and realized that the price of lunch and everything else was still the same. A dollar of lawful money now required ten Fed “dollar” notes to obtain. So anyone with knowledge of lawful money realized that the plate lunch was still costing the same as in the 1960s. It was just that the banksters had hoodwinked us into using their paper scrip, issued by their privately owned Fed bank. [Which isn’t federal and has no reserves. Ed.]

Now put the same yardstick to today’s price of lunch and you will find that it matches in real cost of 40 years ago. A $1,000 (face value) bag of pre-1965 silver coin now goes for $16,000 in Fed notes.

How much did you pay for lunch today? I paid $10.40, with no dessert. Divide that by 16 and see what you get: 65 cents. This should help you realize that nothing has increased in cost in your whole life, but what you have been using to make purchases has continually decreased in value, thereby requiring more of it. The nation’s founders had a similar problem in the 1780s and solved it with hard (metal) money. That lasted for some 125 years, until the banksters schemed a way around the constitutional mandate (never been amended and still on the books), “No state shall make any thing but gold and silver coin a tender in payment of debts.”

Now George Bush, wallowing in a fool’s paradise, says he’ll perk up the economy this summer by sending $158 billion back to the people. Should that happen, take whatever paltry part is yours and pay off some debt or buy some silver or gold coins. Do not spend this “rebate” on a vacation trip or anything you don’t absolutely need. Of course, if you use this to extinguish debt, it won’t have the desired (by the government) effect of stimulating the economy, but that is only a politician’s way of temporarily staving off the inevitable hyperinflation.

Ultimately it will prove to be the financial equivalent of dumping gasoline on a forest fire. After all, the $158 billion band-aid will be created out of nothing.

Remember, every economic boom, fueled chiefly by debt, always implodes into a deflationary spiral. Buying stocks and real estate with other people’s money when inflation is roaring is almost a guaranteed winner, but it is lethal with the turnaround into deflation, a situation already evident in real estate foreclosures in Florida and elsewhere. Bear Stearns had a market value of $20 billion only a year ago. Last week it sold out for $236 million—two bucks a share.

The current housing crisis and all that flows from it comes from two main sources, both deriving from Washington.

In 1977, Congress passed the “Community Reinvestment Act” compelling financial institutions to make loans to people with lower incomes. These regulations were then amended in 1995 and 2005 to create different rules for institutions of different sizes, so that various kinds of institutions would be better able to meet the government’s goals for fostering home ownership in poor communities.

Next, the Federal Reserve started making loans available to the banking system at extremely low interest rates. Then, the lenders combined to make cheap housing loans available to people who previously could not have afforded or qualified for them. This caused an increased demand for housing that sent real estate prices spiraling upward.

Now mortgage lenders began managing the risk involved in making these loans by selling their mortgages to other companies, believing that they were accomplishing this with a wide variety of mortgages in their portfolio. However, these decisions were all in error, because the Fed’s policy of “easy money” had falsely inflated the value of all homes. This meant that good mortgages could not be used to manage the risk involved in questionable mortgages, because the value of all homes was inflated.

Finally, as with all inflationary booms, increases in home prices absorbed the increased purchasing power provided by the Fed, leading to a slowdown in home purchases. When this moment arrived everyone realized that the homes they had purchased weren’t really worth what they had paid for them. The defaults and foreclosures then began, along with the collapse of the financial institutions that owned these unsound mortgages.

Now the complicated, multipart scenario described above has been simplified in popular reporting to just two words: “subprime loans.” These two words, combined with the idea that lenders took advantage of poor. unsuspecting customers, are supposed to explain everything.

Perhaps this will explain it better. On Labor Day of 1984, my longtime friend Martin “Red” Beckman sat in a seminar in Orlando, Fla., squirming in his seat as many of the highly publicized and oft-quoted hard money advocates spoke of the soon to come $3,700 an ounce price of gold.

Finally, the meeting was opened to questions, and Red began to speak from the floor. He gently chided the “experts” about their predictions before launching into an explanation of why they were wrong. When he finished, not one could disagree.

Red said to them: “The problem is, you are asking the wrong questions. What you need to ask is, who is buying all this gold. The Federal Reserve Bank buys gold at 10 cents an ounce, so why would they want to push the price to $3,700?”

Gold was at $400 at the time, and the cost of production was $187 to the mining companies. By keeping the price reasonable, Red explained that it also kept the mining companies operating. Hearing the mumblings of disbelief in the audience, Red said, “Oh, you didn’t know that the Fed bought gold for 10 cents an ounce? Well, let me tell you how they do it.”

He then reminded them of something that everyone in that audience already knew: that the Fed printed paper bills—from $1 to $100 denominations. The price of ink and paper was the same—at a cost of 2.5 cents each. So four $100 bills were created at a cost to the Fed of 10 cents, and these could then be traded for one ounce of gold.

“Now, if you had control of this printing press,” Red said, “and could purchase anything you wanted, what would you want more than the gold? Wouldn’t you go after that first?”

A quarter-century later we would ask: “And why would you stop?” It’s the legal tender, stupid.

Religious Freedom in Israel

Religious Freedom in Israel: A Fundamental Guarantee
Israel Funds Mosques, Korans; Protects Holy Sites for All

Israel multi cultures

As a country in the Middle East committed to the free practice of religion for all, regardless of religious affiliation, Israel stands as an oasis of religious freedom in the Middle East. The Israeli government supports religious services for communities of all faiths. That includes funding Korans and the operating costs for more than 100 mosques [1] as well as the salaries of Muslim religious leaders; serving as a safe haven for minorities persecuted in surrounding countries; allowing citizens of any religion to hold political office; and paying for the upkeep of holy sites for all religions.

Israel’s Declaration of Independence: A Mandate for Religious Freedom

Israel’s Declaration of Independence, issued in 1948, describes the country as a Jewish state but clearly extends religious freedoms to all of its inhabitants by stating: the State of Israel “will ensure complete equality of social and political rights to all its inhabitants irrespective of religion, race or sex; it will guarantee freedom of religion, conscience, language, education and culture; it will safeguard the Holy Places of all religions.” [2]

As a state that comprises people of many ethnicities and religious backgrounds, Israel encourages minorities to take an active role in politics and government. All Israeli citizens enjoy the right to vote and can run for political office, including the presidency. [3]

Every person in Israel enjoys freedom of conscience, of belief, of religion, and of worship. This freedom is guaranteed to every person in every enlightened, democratic regime, and therefore it is guaranteed to every person in Israel. It is one of the fundamental principles upon which the State of Israel is based.

-Moshe Landau, Former Israeli Supreme Court Justice [4]

Since the reunification of Jerusalem in 1967, Israel has granted access to holy sites of all faiths and has restored and rebuilt Christian, Jewish and Muslim holy sites. [5]
In 1992, the Knesset, or Israeli Parliament, passed the Basic Law on Human Dignity and Liberty, which codified civil and human rights into law. [6] Although the Basic Law on Human Dignity and Liberty refers to Israel as a “Jewish and democratic state,” [7] Israel does not have an official religion. [8] Each of the country’s largest religious communities – Christian, Druze, Jewish, Muslim – has jurisdiction over its internal affairs, religious affairs and personal status including marriage, divorce and burial. [9] All religious family courts are recognized as autonomous and paid for by the Israeli government. [10]

Religious Groups in Israel

Israel is comprised of people who practice a variety of faiths, and all enjoy full rights to do so without fear of persecution or unequal treatment under the law. Israel recognizes five religions – Judaism, Islam, Christianity, Druze and Bahá’í. [11]

As of Dec. 31, 2006, the religious demographics of Israel are as follows:
Jews and “Others” 80.1 percent:*
Jews: 76 percent
Non-Arab Christians: .4 percent
Not classified by religion: 3.9 percent
Arabs 19.7 percent:*
Muslim: 16.4 percent
Christian: 1.7 percent
Druze: 1.6 percent [12]
*The percentage does not add up to 100
Jews in Israel:
Israel is the only country in the world where the majority of the citizens are Jewish. [13] The Jewish spectrum in Israel ranges from those who regard themselves as secular, or non-observant, to those who are ultra-Orthodox, or observant. [14] Jerusalem is the holiest city in Judaism and is home to many of the religion’s sacred sites including the Western Wall, the Temple Mount and the Tomb of David. [15]

Muslims in Israel:
Israel’s Muslim population consists primarily of about 1.4 million Sunni Arabs, who mostly live in northern Israel. [16] Circassians and Bedouins are members of Israel’s Muslim sector. [17] The Temple Mount in Jerusalem, which contains the Dome of the Rock and the Al-Aqsa Mosque, is Islam’s third-holiest site. [18] Other notable sites include the El-Jazzar mosque in Acre and the Tomb of the Patriarchs in Hebron in the West Bank, referred to historically as Judea and Samaria, which could become part of a future Palestinian state. [19] [20] Israel funds more than 100 mosques and pays the salaries of their imams (religious leaders). In addition, Israel purchases the Korans used in mosques. [21] The Israeli government also funds Arab schools as well as numerous Islamic schools and colleges. [22] Arab-operated schools teach Islamic studies and Arabic, in addition to the Israel Ministry of Education’s general curriculum. [23]

Christians in Israel:
Israel is home to the holiest sites in Christianity, including the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem, where Jesus was crucified and resurrected; [24] the Basilica of Annunciation in the Galilee town of Nazareth, in northern Israel; the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem, in the West Bank; the Room of the Last Supper and the Via Dolorosa in Jerusalem; the Sea of Galilee in northern Israel; and the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem, revered in Judaism, Islam and Christianity. [25]

Israel officially recognizes 10 Christian denominations for the purposes of personal status such as marriage and divorce: Greek Orthodox, Greek Catholic, Roman Catholic, Armenian Orthodox, Armenian Catholic, Maronite, Syrian Orthodox, Syrian Catholic, Chaldean Catholic and (Anglican) Episcopal. [26] The majority of Christians in Israel are Arabs belonging to the Greek Catholic, Greek Orthodox and Roman Catholic churches. [27]

Druze in Israel:
The Druze community has a special standing in Israel for its contribution to the country’s defense. Israeli Druze are required to serve in the IDF and have held prominent positions in politics, the military and public office. [28] Israel’s Druze are loyal to the country and often place their flag alongside Israel’s. [29] Most of the country’s 113,000 Druze live in 22 villages in northern Israel; Daliyat el-Carmel on Mount Carmel, southeast of Haifa, is the most populous Druze village with 13,000 residents. [30] The tomb of Jethro, father-in-law of Moses, is one of the most important sites in the Druze faith. Another important Druze religious place, the tomb of Nebi Shu’eib, sits in the Galilee near the Horns of Hittin – a twin mountain near Tiberias and the site of a major battle of the Crusades. [31]

Bahá’í in Israel:
Israel serves as a haven for the Bahá’í, a religious minority that originated in Persia and whose adherents have been routinely persecuted under the Islamic Shia government in Iran. [32] There are about six million Bahá’ís in the world, residing in more than 200 countries and territories. [33] Roughly 700 to 800 [34] Bahá’í volunteers from 60 countries reside near the Bahá’í World Centre, in the northern port city of Haifa, where they administer the internal and international affairs of the Bahá’í world community. The staff cares for the Bahá’í holy sites in Israel including Bahjí, where the founder of the Bahá’í Faith, Bahá’u’lláh, died in Acre in northern Israel. [35]

Israeli Protection of All Holy Sites
Israel allows people of all faiths access to the country’s myriad holy sites. In fact, Israeli law mandates that everyone, regardless of religious affiliation, has the right to visit all holy places within Israel.

Anyone who attempts to hinder this right is subject to criminal prosecution and imprisonment for as many as five years. [36] The Protection of Holy Places Law of 1967 also states that anyone who vandalizes a holy site could suffer legal consequences. The law states: “Whoever does anything that is likely to violate the freedom of access of the members of the various religions to the places sacred to them is liable to imprisonment for a term of five years.” [37]
Exceptions have been made during Jewish holidays and after terrorist attacks when the government is forced to impose restrictions because of security threats. [38]
By contrast, between 1949 and 1967, when Jordan controlled the holy sites, all Israelis were forbidden from entering East Jerusalem, including the Old City. [39] The Old City is home to the Western Wall, the most sacred site in Judaism; the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, where Christ is believed to have been buried; [40] and the Temple Mount (Haram al-Sharif in Arabic), the third-holiest site in Islam as well as the site of the first and second Jewish temples.
Under Jordanian rule, holy sites and Jewish cemeteries within East Jerusalem were desecrated. Upon gaining control of all of Jerusalem in 1967, Israel immediately opened the area to people of all faiths so that they would be free to worship at their respective holy sites without threat of violence or persecution. Israel made this clear in its first radio announcement after capturing East Jerusalem: [41]

“This morning, the Israel Defense Forces liberated Jerusalem. We have united Jerusalem, the divided capital of Israel. We have returned to the holiest of our holy places, never to part from it again. To our Arab neighbors we extend, also at this hour – and with added emphasis at this hour – our hand in peace. And to our Christian and Muslim fellow citizens, we solemnly promise full religious freedom and rights. We did not come to Jerusalem for the sake of other peoples’ holy places, and not to interfere with the adherents of other faiths, but in order to safeguard its entirety, and to live there together with others, in unity.”
–Former Israeli Defense Minister Moshe Dayan, June 7, 1967 [42]

Integrating Israel’s Diversity

The Israeli government has taken broad steps to incorporate people of all religious affiliations and nationalities into the country’s decision-making bodies. Religious minorities in Israel are also represented in private and non-governmental sectors. For example:
Non-Jews have held seats in every Knesset since Israel’s founding. [43] In the very first Knesset in 1949, an Arab-led party — The Democratic List of Nazareth — won two seats. The members were Amin-Salim Jarjora and Seif E-Din E-Zoubi; [44]

Israeli Druze Saleh Tarif became Israel’s first non-Jewish government minister in March 2001; [45]

In 2005, the Israeli government appointed Oscar Abu-Razek, a Muslim, as director general of the Ministry of Interior; Abu-Razek became the most senior Arab in a government ministry; [46]

Jamal Hakrush, a Muslim, was promoted to assistant commander by the National Police in December 2006, making him the highest-ranking Israeli-Arab Muslim police officer since Israel’s founding; [47]

Raleb Majadle, a member of Israel’s Labor Party, became the country’s first Arab-Muslim Cabinet member in January 2007; [48]

For the first time since the establishment of Israel, an Arab Christian, Salim Joubran, was appointed in 2004 as a permanent justice of the Supreme Court; [49]

In June 2000, Knesset member Rabbi Michael Melchior founded the Citizens Accord Forum for Jews and Arabs in Israel, a private non-governmental organization calling for economic, social and civic equality for Israel’s Jews and Arabs; [50]

The number of non-Jewish directors on the boards of state-owned companies increased from 5.5 percent in 2002 to 10 percent in 2005. Arabs occupy approximately 10 percent of the board seats of 105 state-run companies; [51]

In June 2006, the 35th World Zionist Congress passed a resolution requiring the Jewish Agency to include Israeli-Arab communities in its development plans for the country. [52] Previously, the Jewish Agency had not been active in the Arab and Druze communities; [53]

During Israel’s defensive war against Iran-backed Hezbollah in 2006, the Jewish Agency provided humanitarian aid to Muslim and Christian children in the Galilee. The northern Israeli region suffered the greatest number of hits by Hezbollah-launched rockets. The Agency continued its efforts after the war by helping to rebuild Israeli-Arab communities in northern Israel; [54]

Many non-governmental organizations in Israel, including the Gesher Foundation and Meitarim, are dedicated to encouraging interfaith dialogue and coexistence between Jews and Arabs; [55]

The Israel Airports Authority plans to erect a Muslim prayer room at Ben-Gurion International Airport to accommodate Muslim passengers; [56]

In September 2003, Samaher Zaina became the first female principal of an Arab secondary school. [57]

Religious Oppression by Israel’s Neighbors
In contrast to the institutionalized standards of tolerance in Israeli government and society, many of Israel’s neighbors continue to restrict the right of various peoples to practice their religion.
Palestinian Areas:
In contrast to the respect Israel demonstrates for Muslim holy sites, Palestinians in the Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip persecute non-Muslims, desecrating Jewish and Christian sites and oppressing Christian minorities. [58] The roughly 3,000 Christians who live in Gaza face constant persecution by Palestinian extremists. Christians have been killed, and their schools, churches and recreational centers are routinely attacked. [59] Iran-backed Hamas seized control of Gaza during a bloody coup in June 2007. [60]

Before Israel withdrew from all of Gaza in 2005 in hopes of paving the way for an independent Palestinian state, Jews living there required military escorts to travel outside their heavily guarded neighborhoods. [61] Jews in Gaza were the targets of thousands of terrorist attacks, including one that killed 34-year-old Tali Hatuel and her four daughters, all under the age of 12. [62]

As Israel evacuated Gaza, Palestinians vandalized and burned at least four synagogues. [63] Within days, Palestinians also destroyed high-tech greenhouses that had been donated to them to help them with their livelihoods. [64]

Just before the 2005 withdrawal, Israeli Jews uprooted and transferred all of the graves in a Jewish cemetery in Gaza to avoid desecration of the graves. [65] In the two-and-a-half years since the evacuation, Iran-backed terrorists in Gaza, whose extremist ideology includes a stated goal to destroy Israel, [66] have used the area to fire more than 4,500 rockets and mortars into Israeli towns. [67]

Iran: The official religion of Iran is Islam and the constitution states that all laws and regulations must be based on Islamic criteria. Christians, Jews and Zoroastrians are considered “protected” minorities, however, they still face discrimination and minorities have reported imprisonment, harassment and intimidation. [68] Zoroastrianism, founded in Persia more than 3,500 years ago, is one of the world’s oldest monotheistic religions and was once the official religion of Persia. [69] The Zoroastrian concept of heaven, hell and resurrection influenced Christianity and Islam. [70] Members of the Bahá’í faith are targeted more than any other minority and have reported systematic persecution, arbitrary arrests, expulsions from universities and confiscation of property. [71]

Saudi Arabia: Islam is the official religion and the legal system is based on Islamic law (Sharia). Religious freedom is virtually non-existent in Saudi Arabia, which provides no legal protection or recognition of freedom of religion to non-Muslims. [72] Non-Muslims cannot be citizens and although private worship for all religious groups is theoretically permitted, [73] there is no tolerance for public practice of religions other than Islam. [74] Christians have been arrested for worshipping in private [75] and public displays of religious symbols such as the crucifix, the Star of David and Christian Bibles are prohibited. [76] As of August 2007, the Saudi Arabian Airlines Web site stated, “A number of items are not allowed to be brought into the kingdom due to religious reasons and local regulations,” and “Items and articles belonging to religions other than Islam are also prohibited. These may include Bibles, crucifixes, statues, carvings, items with religious symbols such as the Star of David, and others.” The statement has since been removed from the airline’s Web site. [77]

Syria: There is no official state religion, however Islamic jurisprudence is the main source of legislation [78] and the legal system is based on Ottoman, French and Sharia (Islamic) laws. [79] The constitution provides for freedom of religion, but there are restrictions to this right – for example, only a Muslim is permitted to be president. Additionally, the government bans Jehovah’s Witnesses and its members must conduct its activities discreetly to avoid attracting government attention. The government mandates religious education in schools for all religious groups, however, only instruction on Islam and Christianity is provided. [80]

Lebanon: The Lebanese constitution allows for freedom of religion and equality for all of its citizens is guaranteed. However, the constitution establishes a balance of power between the major religious groups – Christians and Muslims and political positions are limited to specific groups within those religions. For example, the president must be a Maronite Christian; only a Sunni Muslim can be prime minister; and the post of parliament speaker is reserved for a Shia Muslim. [81] Bahá’ís, Buddhists, Hindus and some Protestant Christian groups are not officially recognized by the government and therefore cannot hold certain government positions. However, members of these religious groups can run for office under a different religious sect. [82]

Staining the Pride of Men!

Just as Israel, Babylon, and other nations we find in the Old Testament, so too, the LORD God will bring into account the nations of men today. Because of this, we have forewarnings from those who have gone before. The LORD will stain the Pride of men; he will mar it, and bring down the haughtiness of men. Thus, the warning goes out to all men everywhere, including the USA, to beware of forgetting this God, who is LORD!

Jeremiah 13:9  Thus saith the LORD, After this manner will I mar the pride of Judah, and the great pride of Jerusalem.
10  This evil people, which refuse to hear my words, which walk in the imagination of their heart, and walk after other gods, to serve them, and to worship them, shall even be as this girdle, which is good for nothing.

My Soul shall weep in secret places for your pride!!

As we see the hand of the LORD upon the nations of men, those who know the LORD, must understand what is happening. We should be weeping in the secret places before the LORD, for the Pride of men and nations who will receive at the hand of the LORD the Cup of Trembling, with which, the LORD makes the nations and people drunken.

Jeremiah 13:16  Give glory to the LORD your God, before he cause darkness, and before your feet stumble upon the dark mountains, and, while ye look for light, he turn it into the shadow of death, and make it gross darkness.
17  But if ye will not hear it, my soul shall weep in secret places for your pride; and mine eye shall weep sore, and run down with tears, because the LORD”S flock is carried away captive.

Going over the High Side
By The Watchman, Dana G Smith

The following is a metaphor, an event that took place one early morning. The following was an actual event in my life in the spirit. A time when a lesson was taught, as the quietness of the morning gave way to an experience I will not forget.

To whom should I write? What should I say? Can you hear the truth, even now? I was in there, alongside others, standing. There were others beside me, in the flesh, I in the spirit, with a dock protruding out into the lake. The leader, or so he seemed was readying a boat. It was a nice launch, which looked powerful, sleek, and had others turning their heads. Everyone was on the dock to get ride with this person, on his boat.

Everyone climbed in and the leader took the boat helm. I sat in the back, no one noticing me, but I saw everything. My vision, though, was locked on the one who was taking everyone for a ride. I did not hear the conversations, but saw the group enjoying themselves with this man and his boat. It indeed was the so called talk of the town. He took it out, slowly at first, then faster, and even faster. As he went, we in the boat saw others in boats watch us pass them by. They watched as if transfixed. It looked as if they were envious, even jealous of what we had. The boat was going very fast now, as we sped up even more. Those in the boat were enjoying the ride, the nice boat, and this man who was taking them. As we continued to pass other boats, they all seemed mundane and normal. Nothing stood out, but this boat was so nice, sleek, and powerful. It rode over the water at a lightening pace. It ignored the waves, the other boats, and had a mission, or so it seemed. Ever faster now, all on board was enjoying themselves and this man who was obviously their leader. All were so enthralled no one noticed the shore approaching, nor the water getting shallower.

As we went closer to the shore, still, the party ignored what was going on. All except the host who was driving, he actually sped up. The boat was now going faster than ever, he took a small narrow stream leading out of the lake and was going at breakneck speed. No one on board even looked at the danger or realized how fast or close to disaster they were. I watched, in the spirit, not able to warn them, just watching it all. The water got shallower, the stream narrower, and still the boat was full bore and throttle. No one even noticed what I saw. Ahead I saw the end of the water, the stream, and a dam, small that it was. Ground was coming closer to the boat, but the boat going as fast and literally skimmed over the shallows and then the surface of the ground, hydroplaning towards the dam. There was nowhere to go, the boat headed directly for the dam, full throttle and no one even saw it coming. Then in an instant, the boat broke through the dam and we were flying through the air. The lake had been on a high mountain overlooking a valley. The dam on the edge of the cliff, but the boat sailed through the dam, over the remaining ground and off the cliff. Below some 500 feet was the ground. I looked around and the pilot of the boat suddenly flew out of the boat as if he was diving from a diving board and lay flat out, and then made a dive like he was going into water. It was a nice swan dive, with the best form I have ever seen. I watched as he seemed to want to hit the ground in such form. He seemed happy, glad, and even proud to be going out in style. As I watched, the others did the same. As I was in the spirit, I was hung above it all, momentarily fixed on the disaster taking place. I watched helplessly as the leader with the fashion form dive hit the ground with a thud, bounced up and hit the ground again. He rolled lifelessly like a rag doll on the hard floor. The others hit as well, I could hear the thud, I saw the lifeless bodies roll on the hard ground below. I felt eternity take them. I felt the sadness, the loss, the travesty of ignorance. Life is short, honor is treasured, but a fool ignores the way of the Lord. These followed this man, ignoring all else. The made the trip memorable, even regretful. For them, there is nothing left, all is gone. The have like the old saying goes “gone over the high side”. A 60’s euphemism that says, I did it my way. No one turned me back for I would not listen. It is the way I wanted it, going to the very end, my way.

The Measure of Iniquity!
A Psalm by the Watchman Dana G Smith

Can you measure iniquity?
Do you know when the cup is full?
Behold, the Lord, in whose hand is the nations,
Yea, he knoweth these things.
He lifts up nations,
He brings them down.
The Lord giveth life and behold,
He taketh it away again,
This is the Lord, the Governor of the nations.
He holds eternity in his hand,
While he sweeps the heaven with the other,
This is the Lord.
Can you tell me O man the measure now?

The Lord riseth up, even now,
Yea, He cometh, his armies are with him,
To uproot the proud,
To bring down the rebellious,
To lay low the haughty,
To raise up the righteous,
To establish His kingdom,
To give to every man according as his works shall be.
This is the Lord,
He knoweth the measure,
And the measure is full!

Awaken o people!
Turn to ye,
For the Lord commandeth
All men, everywhere to repent.
Seek him while it is day,
For the Lord is merciful and full of Grace,
Awaken all ye people.
The Lord of Hosts cometh,
Be quick to seek Him,
Be ye sincere of heart, not men pleasers,
Repentant, quick to acknowledge Him,
For in the Son of God there is life,
In the Savior, there is Hope!
But refuse if you dare.
For the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,
And thousands of thousands.
The Lord, Holy, True, and Righteous,
Behold He cometh,
Blessed be the Lord.

The Lord will fill the Land , the inhabitants thereof with drunkenness!

The Apostle Paul says, “knowing therefore the terror of the LORD, we persuade men”. 2 Cor 5:11. This is the ultimate drunkenness which will come from the Cup of trembling which the Lord brings upon the rebellious nations. The Day of the LORD is approaching, even here in America, we will see this cup. It will make our President, senators, congressmen, leaders, religious leaders, and all others, drunken. For when the cup of Fury is let loose in this nation, the cup of trembling, the day of vengeance and astonishment will be full force upon a nation that has never known such things. We have known blessings, peace, and have had more than heart could wish. Yet for all this, we continue to ignore the Lords warnings and follow the error of our Pride.

Jeremiah 13:13  Then shalt thou say unto them, Thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will fill all the inhabitants of this land, even the kings that sit upon David”s throne, and the priests, and the prophets, and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, with drunkenness.

Isaiah 51:17  ¶Awake, awake, stand up, O Jerusalem, which hast drunk at the hand of the LORD the cup of his fury; thou hast drunken the dregs of the cup of trembling, and wrung them out.

The Day of vengeance and hard things upon the land!

The Apostle James warned those of his day who lived in Babylon, called Rome, and elsewhere in the region, and us also, that the day is approaching. This day is known as the ‘last days’ and James said to his generation and ours today, “You have heaped treasure together for the last days.” [James 5:3] Further James said “Go to now, ye rich men, weep and howl for the miseries that shall come upon you! Your riches are corrupted and your garments are moth eaten, your gold and silver is cankered, the rust of them shall be a witness against you and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. [James 5:1-3] When you read this section written by the Inspiration of the Holy Spirit, you can literally put America in it. Not only America, but many nations today could fit directly into these phrases we mentioned above. The truth is, the time is short, the warning is clear, and we are not saved!

Isaiah 63:4  For the day of vengeance is in mine heart, and the year of my redeemed is come.
5  And I looked, and there was none to help; and I wondered that there was none to uphold: therefore mine own arm brought salvation unto me; and my fury, it upheld me.
6  And I will tread down the people in mine anger, and make them drunk in my fury, and I will bring down their strength to the earth.
7  ¶I will mention the lovingkindnesses of the LORD, and the praises of the LORD, according to all that the LORD hath bestowed on us, and the great goodness toward the house of Israel, which he hath bestowed on them according to his mercies, and according to the multitude of his lovingkindnesses.

The Day of Astonishment is coming upon the earth

The Day of Astonishment [bewilderment, amazement, shock,] will come upon all the earth. There is no doubt America as a ‘denial factor’ going on. Some call it ‘Plausible deniability’, meaning we are America; there is no way this could happen to our nation. There is no doubt that in the past our nation has had many blessings, miracles, and also solid ‘Holy Spirit led’ revivals. But today our nation has headed down a road away from our traditional belief in the LORD God. There are many nations, just like America who seeks to break away from the ‘bonds’ of the LORD and his laws. This is seen in Psalms 2.

Psalms 2:2  The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,
3  Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.
4  He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.
5  Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.

We find that the Lord showed his own people hard things, things that the Psalmist called “wine of astonishment”. Because of their rebellion against the LORD and refusal to repent we have today a record of his dealings with Israel. But not only Israel, we saw the Hand of judgment fall upon many Gentile nations as well. Today we need to learn from this, take heed, and seek the face of the Lord.

Psalms 60:3  Thou hast shewed thy people hard things: thou hast made us to drink the wine of astonishment.
4  Thou hast given a banner to them that fear thee, that it may be displayed because of the truth. Selah.

The Day of God as Judge, he will reward according to your deeds!

The Day when God is the judge, scriptures call the Day of the LORD. It is that time when nations, men, and people all face the LORD for what they have done. It is the cup of the LORD, the wine is red, and he pours it out. In this, the righteous will be exalted and the wicked will be cut off.

Psalms 75:5  Lift not up your horn on high: speak not with a stiff neck.
6  ¶For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south.
7  But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.
8  For in the hand of the LORD there is a cup, and the wine is red; it is full of mixture; and he poureth out of the same: but the dregs thereof, all the wicked of the earth shall wring them out, and drink them.
9  But I will declare for ever; I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.
10  All the horns of the wicked also will I cut off; but the horns of the righteous shall be exalted.

The Sword in the land, drink, get drunken, and vomit!

These scriptures we have been reading bring the idea of a cup into the mix of the LORDs wrath upon the nations. When the cup is poured out, it causes astonishment, amazement, and many cannot believe what is happening. So too, when it comes upon America the nation of peace, but of iniquity shall understand the metaphoric language of these passages. They are meant to bring a picture of the ‘terror of the LORD’. For with knowledge of the LORD, and the terror of his wrath, a person should fear the LORD. With fear, brings the beginning of wisdom. This wisdom says to repent, seek the LORD, and do those things pleasing in his sight.

Jeremiah 25:27  Therefore thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Drink ye, and be drunken, and spue, and fall, and rise no more, because of the sword which I will send among you.
28  And it shall be, if they refuse to take the cup at thine hand to drink, then shalt thou say unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Ye shall certainly drink.

The Lord has a controversy with the nations!

As we have talked about America, let us also understand that the LORD has a controversy with the nations. For the wicked who are described throughout the bible, but in Psalms is seen trying to break the cords from the LORD, will face the sword of the LORD. In Revelation we have a picture of the LORD coming again and smiting the nations during Armegeddon. The wrath of the LORD, the controversy, and the Great Whirlwind of Gods judgment will go from coast to coast covering all the earth. Be sure what you have sown will be found out on that day.

Jeremiah 25:31  A noise shall come even to the ends of the earth; for the LORD hath a controversy with the nations, he will plead with all flesh; he will give them that are wicked to the sword, saith the LORD.
32  Thus saith the LORD of hosts, Behold, evil shall go forth from nation to nation, and a great whirlwind shall be raised up from the coasts of the earth.
33  And the slain of the LORD shall be at that day from one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth: they shall not be lamented, neither gathered, nor buried; they shall be dung upon the ground.

The Lord will destroy the stronghold of Babylon

Babylon has been in much contention in prophecy as many try to place just who is this city mentioned in the Old and New testaments. The Golden cup is a picture of Babylon as she has been made into the vessel of wrath. From this cup, Babylon, the wine of iniquity and blasphemy is seen in Revelation chapter 18. The nations look at her and are astonished at the beauty, treasures, and luxury of this Lady of the nations. Yet, the wrath of God abides on her. Her wine of iniquity is drunk by all the nations. The issue is not whether America is Babylon or not. The issue is, the same iniquity found in Babylon and her cup is in America today. The nation we call America is whorish, full of the Babylonian Spirit, the Jezebel Spirit, and the iniquity of evil in its fullest form. Babylon like America and other nations cannot be healed. When this judgment falls on America, the many who have come to this nation for her luxuries and safety will flee back home to their native lands. Be sure this is coming and when the fires start burning, many will flee this country called the USA.

Jeremiah 51:7  Babylon hath been a golden cup in the LORD”S hand, that made all the earth drunken: the nations have drunken of her wine; therefore the nations are mad.
8  Babylon is suddenly fallen and destroyed: howl for her; take balm for her pain, if so be she may be healed.
9  We would have healed Babylon, but she is not healed: forsake her, and let us go every one into his own country: for her judgment reacheth unto heaven, and is lifted up even to the skies.

All within Babylon shall be made drunk by the hand of the Lords fury!

Jeremiah 51:57  And I will make drunk her princes, and her wise men, her captains, and her rulers, and her mighty men: and they shall sleep a perpetual sleep, and not wake, saith the King, whose name is the LORD of hosts.

The Righteous shall go out of Babylon to deliver his soul from the fierce anger of the LORD!

The righteous also need to understand that the LORD will make provisions for those who honor his Word, keep his commandments, and the faith of Jesus Christ. Like Israel of old who was told to ‘go out of the midst of her and deliver every man his soul from the fierce anger of the LORD’, so too we must flee out of this Land to safety. Today there are many maps of so called ‘blue zones’ which those who made them say the LORD revealed to them the safety zones. You can find a number of these maps and many today ask me where they should go for safety. I tell them, Psalm 91. Seek the LORD by Fasting, prayer, and reading his Word. Listen for the Spirit of God to show, reveal, or tell you where to go! Be sure this time is coming, be warned, don’t get comfortable in Babylon or America, for the trouble is coming, it shall cause all who are in her to be drunken with the cup of trembling, astonishment, and the Day of Gods judgment. In all this, notice also during the warning out of Jeremiah that do not let your ‘heart faint’ from ‘fear for the rumor’ that shall be heard. Today we have many rumors and conspiracies going on. We must trust the LORD, not giving heed to rumor and conspiracies. Notice also we find that the ones who have escaped the sword, speaking to the Lord’s people, to ‘go away, stand not still, and remember the LORD afar off, let Jerusalem come into your mind.’ Here we find that our hope is to be in the LORD, and also to let Jerusalem, the metaphor for the kingdom of God to come into mind. Also, it should be noted that many see this verse as one reminding us to flee to Israel during this time.

Jeremiah 51:45  My people, go ye out of the midst of her, and deliver ye every man his soul from the fierce anger of the LORD.
46  And lest your heart faint, and ye fear for the rumour that shall be heard in the land; a rumour shall both come one year, and after that in another year shall come a rumour, and violence in the land, ruler against ruler.

Jeremiah 51:50  Ye that have escaped the sword, go away, stand not still: remember the LORD afar off, and let Jerusalem come into your mind.

The Lord in his mercy shall remove the cup of trembling from the hand of the righteous!

The LORD in Isaiah 51 says to those who were afflicted and drunken but not with wine. These were the People of God who did not receive the cup of wine, astonishment, and destruction. These were those who, though, afflicted, and became drunk, but did so with the cup of trembling. That cup of trembling was watching, being involved in, and seeing the astonishing judgment of the LORD upon the land where they were living. They were full of astonishment, trembling, and could not endure. Yet in the midst of this, the LORD gives mercy to his people saying, “I have taken out of thine hand the cup of trembling, even the dregs of the cup of my fury, thou shalt no more drink it again”. This is where the LORD removes the cup of trembling, fear, and astonishment to replace it with deliverance, peace, and hope. The fear of death, retribution, and the terror of the LORD is supernaturally replaced by the HOLY Ghost in their hearts. In the midst of judgment, here we find Gods mercy for his people.

Isaiah 51:21  Therefore hear now this, thou afflicted, and drunken, but not with wine:
22  Thus saith thy Lord the LORD, and thy God that pleadeth the cause of his people, Behold, I have taken out of thine hand the cup of trembling, even the dregs of the cup of my fury; thou shalt no more drink it again:

What this means to you and mean is that when the terror of the LORD, the cup of wine, mixed red, and poured out from the Whirlwind of the LORD is not going to be upon the righteous, those who keep his commandments, the faith of Jesus Christ, and who are born of the Spirit. Even if we are here and see, feel, and know of this terror on the land, yet we can hope and trust in the LORD. We have been given warning. We should take heed to seek the LORD with all our hearts and listen for him to tell us to flee his wrath.

Revelation 18:4  And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.

McDonald’s will Fully Back Gay agenda

McDonald”s CEO: Company will put full resources behind gay agenda
McDonald”s has signed on to a nationwide effort to promote “gay” and “lesbian” business ventures.

According to McDonald’s CEO Jim Skinner, McDonald’s will aggressively promote the homosexual agenda. In remarks on McDonald”s Web site concerning the company becoming a member of the National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC), Skinner wrote: “Being a socially responsible organization is a fundamental part of who we are. We have an obligation to use our size and resources to make a difference in the world … and we do.”
The company gave an undisclosed amount of money to the NGLCC in return for being recognized as a major promoter of the homosexual agenda. In return, NGLCC placed Richard Ellis, vice president of communications of McDonald’s USA, on the NGLCC Board of Directors.
Ellis was quoted as saying: “I”m thrilled to join the National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce team and ready to get to work. I share the NGLCC”s passion for business growth and development within the LGBT community, and I look forward to playing a role in moving these important initiatives forward.”
McDonald”s refused to comment to World Net Daily on the placement of its executive on the board of the “gay” advocacy organization but did send an e-mail confirming the corporation”s support for the agenda of the homosexual business lobby.
“McDonald”s is indeed a Corporate Partner and Organizational Ally of NGLCC. Our vice president of U.S. communications, Richard Ellis, was recently elected to its board of directors,” said Heidi M. Barker, senior director of media relations for McDonald’s. NGLCC describes itself as promoting the LGBT community first and always, including same sex marriage.
NGLCC gives credit to sponsors such as McDonald”s for its financial and other support that helps in its work. “Through the commitment of our corporate partners, the NGLCC has been able to advance the ideas and causes of the LGBT business community,” the Chamber said.
