The Call of The Day of the LORD

Psalms 18:30  As for God, his way is perfect:
the word of the LORD is tried:
he is a buckler to all those that trust in him.

Joel 1:15  Alas for the day! for the day of the LORD is at hand,
and as a destruction from the Almighty shall it come.

The Lord Eternal, bless his name.
He speaketh, yea, he uttereth.
As Gold refined,
As a shield and a buckler,
A sword, a defense,
So it is when the Lord Speaks.

Shall ye hear O man?
Will ye understand what he sayeth?
For the foolish disregard this,
The Proud mock,
The wise man, though, understands and listens!
Yea, he heareth when the Eternal sayeth;
“I AM HOLY, be ye HOLY”

1 Peter 1:16  Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.

Will you hear O vain man?
For the Eternal commands;
“Repent ye”,
Will you continue to ignore this?

Acts 17:30  And the times of this ignorance God winked at;
but now commandeth all men every where to repent:

To your own peril O man,
To your own foolishness,
Will ye refuse him that calleth?
Again he sayeth, The Eternal One:

Isaiah 66:4  I also will choose their delusions,
and will bring their fears upon them;
because when I called, none did answer;
when I spake, they did not hear:
but they did evil before mine eyes,
and chose that in which I delighted not.

The day worketh the Hours,
The sun passes its courses,
But the Lord of Hosts commandeth it all!
Who can understand this?
Who will listen now?
For time passes, men forget, and life continues on.
All of it out of the Mercy of God,
Yet man curses the Holy One whom is benevolent towards them.

Zephaniah 1:14  ¶The great day of the LORD is near, it is near,
and hasteth greatly, even the voice of the day of the LORD:
the mighty man shall cry there bitterly.

Hear O foolish Ones,
Time is short,
The Day approaches,
Then He in whom all things consist,
Yea, he will bring thee before judgment.
What will you do on that day?

Behold it is a terrible day of distress,
The Day of the Lord,
The purity of our God will be revealed,
And who will stand against his wrath on that day,
A Day of Darkness, wasteness, and judgment!

Jeremiah 46:10  For this is the day of the Lord GOD of hosts,
a day of vengeance, that he may avenge him of his adversaries:
and the sword shall devour, and it shall be satiate and made drunk with their blood:
for the Lord GOD of hosts hath a sacrifice in the north country by the river Euphrates.

Ezekiel 30:3  For the day is near, even the day of the LORD is near,
a cloudy day; it shall be the time of the heathen.

Yea, it shall fall upon thee,
Then, in its aftermath, O man,
Naked shall ye be,
Before the throne of the Eternal,
Who by the Judgment of Jesus Christ,
Shall judge all men.

Romans 2:16  In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men
by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.

2 Timothy 4:1  ¶I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ,
who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;

Awaken,
Awaken,
Awaken,
For the Day of the Lord cometh swiftly,
Upon all nations, all peoples, and all tongues!
Seek the Lord, Repent, and follow him.

Zephaniah 2:3  Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of the earth,
which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness,
seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the LORD”S anger.

For in Christ alone shall ye be hid.
Yea, on that day the Lord shall judge all peoples.

1 Thessalonians 5:6  ¶Therefore let us not sleep, as do others;
but let us watch and be sober.
1 Thessalonians 5:7 For they that sleep sleep in the night;
and they that be drunken are drunken in the night.
1 Thessalonians 5:8  But let us, who are of the day, be sober,
putting on the breastplate of faith and love;
and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.
1 Thessalonians 5:9  For God hath not appointed us to wrath,
but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,

Isaiah 13:6  ¶Howl ye; for the day of the LORD is at hand;
it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty.

In truth,
In Equity,
In Holiness.

Yea, shall his kingdom be brought in,
The Kingdom of our Lord and God,
Bless his name all ye people,
For all tongues, knee’s, and peoples shall bless his name,
Bless his Holy name.

Romans 14:11  For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord,
every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.

Philippians 2:10  That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

Zephaniah 3:8  ¶Therefore wait ye upon me, saith the LORD, until the day that I rise up to the prey: for my determination is to gather the nations, that I may assemble the kingdoms, to pour upon them mine indignation, even all my fierce anger: for all the earth shall be devoured with the fire of my jealousy.
