The Last Call
A Psalm

Acts 17:30 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:
This is not about bars and drinking. It is not about staying late drinking until the bartender gives the ‘last call’. This is another ‘last call’, but one that far outweighs the importance of the other ‘last call’. There is the ‘Eternal’, blessed be his name who has already given us a commandment to ‘repent’. This is not a suggestion, but a command. Many today have broken this and continue to break it!
In the day and age of ‘lawlessness’, we do not like commandments nor the law, especially if it comes from the ‘Eternal’.
1 Timothy 1:9 Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers,
In the midst of the dark night,
dank, lonely, a siren wails.
Another one has been lost.
Time, tis true, waits for no one!
Yet, in Gods scheme of things,
His plan to redeem man goes on,
In His grace, because of His mercy,
Extended to all of us at this time.
But as it also was given, a choice,
One to accept or to deny,
Now on this night, Gods Grace given,
Gods grace rejected, decision made,
The Soul that sinneth, it shall die!
There, in the street, out of the light,
In the shadows, the corpse lay, a victim.
Bloodshed, murder, here on the streets of America.
It could of been anywhere, and yet it was here!
Gods grace reaches to all nations,
to the uttermost part of the earth,
Yet here, lay Grace rejected, whilst blood is spilt,
Bloodguilt is released upon the land.
The ground accepts and the earth embraces the blood,
As the cold blooded murder stains the wind swept street.
This one lay, cold, lifeless, his soul yet has wandered,
Yea, into the depths of Gods judgment, as people look on.
He did not know it would end so soon.
He did not realize the shortness of life.
He did not see it coming, yet death arrived.
He being thoroughly guilty, because of sin, had a choice,
He rejected the offer of salvation,
He went his own way, now he will pay!
One path led to life, the other to destruction and death,
He chose death and found an end of life with it.
He pursued darkness and found blackness,
Everlasting, eternal, and hopeless now without mercy.
Mercy was rejected, and his life as well taken.
For Man is given life, but even that ends,
The clock of time pursuing men in old age or young,
Finally taking them away into Eternities bosom.

What do men think?
What did this poor soul know?
Does flesh really think they will escape?
Where can one go to escape the Eternal One?
Alas, now, on the pavement, in the black of night,
lay dust, for out of earth came man,
Now to earth he will return.
As it is said, Dust to Dust, Ashes to Ashes,
For out of dust was man created and to dust
Shall he return, after this the judgment!
Hebrews 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
Little did this one know he had so little time!
He did not understand,
LAST CALL, this was given,
LAST CALL and he gave not a nod to GOD,
LAST CALL, he rejected mercy from the Eternal.
The Spirit of God called, he did not answer,
The Son of God shed his blood, he did not care,
The Father gave Mercy, this one gave no heed!
He ignored, he did not give heed, he never received!
1 Samuel 2:6 The LORD killeth, and maketh alive: he bringeth down to the grave, and bringeth up.
Now dead in flesh, the spirit remains,
Now the spirit of this man will stand before the Judgment,
He is in the bosom of Gods justice, he will stand liable for his pleas,
Sadly, this guilty one, rejected the plea agreement and salvation,
He rejected the ‘only Begotten Son of God’,
Jesus Christ, Y’SHUA Ha Massiach, who died for all men,
Through the blood of the covenant, it had been set,
All who accepted and believed in HIM would be saved.
Now till the second death, he waits, in darkness, in Sheol,
Apart from God,
This is the verdict of those who reject Gods mercy and Grace!
John 1:10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.
11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not.
12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
15 ¶John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me.
16 And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace.
17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.
