We cover the Sabbath, the commandments, and the feasts in this newsletter today. I do this to show scripture relating to this. There will be those who will argue, seek to tell you this is law, which it is not! Many today in the church, including Pastors, theologians, and others are ignorant do not know what they speak. Many follow church theology and doctrine passed down for centuries. They have added to it just as the Jews added to the law and made the Word of God of Non-effect by their traditions of men!
We find the book of Revelation talking about the children of God keeping the Commandments of God, the faith and testimony of Jesus! Even in the last book o of the bible we find commandments, faith, and testimony of Jesus Christ!
Revelation 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
Revelation 12:17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
Revelation 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
Revelation 22:14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
This is not about salvation although some would say if you are truly saved, then you would do this out of love. I will not argue nor answer letters from people or learned theologians who want to discredit this. I simply point out the scriptures, the rest is up to you and the Holy Ghost to help you in this matter. I do not and will not judge anyone on these matters, that is for God to do! Now here is the Sabbath, commandments, law, feasts, and related. There is much more that could be written, but I have put this here to help in your study and edification in the LORD Jesus Christ, to the glory of our Father, only true God, blessed be his name!
Commandments of God- Ex 20:1-17

2. Thou shall not make any graven image
3. Thou shall not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain
4. Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy
5. Honor thy Father and Mother
6. Thou shall not kill
7. Thou shall not commit adultery
8. Thou, shall not steal
9. Thou shall not bear false witness
10. Thou shall not covet
Jesus Taught the greatest commandment and so did the Apostles, but below is the Apostle Paul in Romans and Jesus in Matthew! This is not an extensive list on ‘commandments’. For more info, do your own bible search in the New testament alone with the word commandment and see the results yourself!
Matthew 22:38 This is the first and great commandment.
39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

Romans 13:8 Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.
Romans 13:10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.
The Apostle Paul also brought in the ten commandments without specifically mentioning the scripture in Exodus. Here we see he covers Adultery the 7th commandment, not killing the 6th commandment, bearing false witness the 9th commandment, not stealing the 8th commandment, not coveting the 10th commandment. He also says that ‘loving thy neighbor will fulfill any other commandment, here we can see the rest of the commands fulfilled in love, but we can also specifically point to the fifth commandment here in honoring mother and father.
Romans 13:9 For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

Below we see the concern for idols, fornication, and things strangled and from blood.
In this we find the fulfillment of the 1st commandment to have no other Gods before me, the 2nd commandment not to make any graven image, and also the
3rd commandment not to take the LORD thy God in vain. If you follow idols, and keep graven images before God, you are actually taking his name in vain. That is, the person who does this is actually saying he is the only God as in the first commandment, but it is actually lying in his name by saying you call him the LORD your God and also follow Idols! This is taking his name in vain and making a mockery and joke of your sonship in his name!
Acts 15:19 Wherefore my sentence is, that we trouble not them, which from among the Gentiles are turned to God:
20 But that we write unto them, that they abstain from pollution’s of idols, and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from blood.
Acts 15:29 That ye abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication: from which if ye keep yourselves, ye shall do well. Fare ye well.

The fourth commandment, the Sabbath day to keep it holy! The church today is the result of Constantine and his mother who wanted to remove all Jewish ness from the Christian church. That they did. This went through the Catholic church. When Luther left the Catholic church he took with him most of the traditional Christian holy days and feasts. Of course, they were not the original holy days the early church kept, they were by now the traditions of men handed down through the centuries. Now in America, we know little else but these traditional holy days, created by men and not God. If you want Gods word on the Holy days, the Sabbath days, you must look in his Torah, the Pentateuch as we call the first five books of the bible. The feasts are found in Lev and the commandments, especially the Sabbath are found in Deut. This again is not about keeping the 613 commandments of the law. This is about the commandments of the LORD and the words he gave to the Apostles.
