To the Father with Love, In His Son
A Psalm

John 3:16  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

A Father loveth his son,
Yea, a father grieves with his son,
A father rejoices with his son,
Sorrow for sorrow,
Prayer for prayer,
Sadness for sadness,
Joy in victory,
Comfort in defeat,
Till he cometh to the stature,
Of the fullness to which God calls him.

John 16:26  At that day ye shall ask in my name: and I say not unto you, that I will pray the Father for you:

John 16:27  For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God.

John 16:28  ¶I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father.

As with the son,
So with the daughter,
To be loved,
To be nurtured,
To be a strength in weakness,
To be a song amidst defeat,
To be a fire lit, when warmth is needed,
Yea, to love these whom god has given,
This is my duty to them and to God.
What else can one do,
As a Father or as a Mother,
As a Parent,
As a child myself,
With an earthly parent, and an Heavenly Father,
What else can I do?
Born through Him who gave his life for me,
What else can I do?

Yea, to Him, I must be true!
For He, my Heavenly Father, gave His only son,
For my redemption,
And also yours,
For my children,
And also yours,
For my Wife,
And also yours,
For your husband,
For your friend,
For all who would repent and believe on him,
This is the truth to which we must be true.

It is true, My Father in Heaven so loved,
That he gave His only Son!
The Son so Loved the Father and us,
That he came, willingly,
To be spat upon,
To be beaten,
To be bloodied,
To be despised,
To be rejected,
To be crucified,
To give his life as a ransom,
For many or even just one!

A Fathers love,
Given to us,
So to this end, His love,
I must love,
I must for his sake,
I must for his sons sake,
The End to which he died,
That I would believe,
That I would repent,
That I would follow him,
Unto the end of my journey,
In Victory through Christ Jesus,
My Lord, to the glory of the Father.

This is the End, to which, my prayer,
The goal to which I work,
For my Son,
For my Daughter,
For my Wife,
For you,
For all whom God leads me too,
That to the end, you also,
Would come to know Him,
Our Father in heaven, through
His only Begotten Son,
Our Savior, Jesus Christ!
