Tracking the Trek of the Goyim
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Genesis 10:1 ¶Now these are the generations of the sons of Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth: and unto them were sons born after the flood.
2 The sons of Japheth; Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.
3 And the sons of Gomer; Ashkenaz, and Riphath, and Togarmah.
4 And the sons of Javan; Elishah, and Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim.
5 By these were the isles of the Gentiles divided in their lands; every one after his tongue, after their families, in their nations.
Isaiah 55:3 Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.
Acts 13:34 And as concerning that he raised him up from the dead, now no more to return to corruption, he said on this wise, I will give you the sure mercies of David.
By the generations of the sons of Noah were born, there was still much water. It did not cover all the earth as during the flood, but there was much water which formed regions with water on many sides. They had coasts, and today we call these islands. As the water disappeared due to natural course, more land appeared.
isles: coast, island, shore, region
339 [’iy /ee/] n m. From 183; TWOT 39a; GK 362; 36 occurrences; AV translates as “isle(s)” 30 times, “islands” five times, and “country” once. 1 coast, island, shore, region.
The word from which we get isles [iy/ee], is avah.
Avah is a primitive root word. It is translated as ‘desire’ by the AV. It means to desire, incline, covet, wait longingly, want, can mean greedy, or prefer as well.
183 [’avah /aw·vaw/] v. A primitive root; TWOT 40; GK 203; 26 occurrences; AV translates as “desire” 17 times, “lust” four times, “longed” three times, and “covet” twice. 1 desire, incline, covet, wait longingly, wish, sigh, want, be greedy, prefer. 1a (Piel) to desire, crave (food and drink). 1b (Hithpael) to desire, long for, lust after (of bodily appetites).
This gives us another glance, hint, from scripture as to what went on. The water had covered the earth. The small family was becoming restless, no wonder. For the earth had been covered and now they were growing. They needed space, land! So as the isles, regions grew dry, they began to see the opportunity and then desire for the land of their own. This became a point which drove them along with natural curiosity to find new lands. They longed for, a place of their own. Thus they began a migration.
Thus, the isles, or regions became populated by the Gentiles, in their lands, every one after his tongue, after their families, in their nations.
The Gentiles: Here the Hebrew word for Gentiles is goy. It means nation, people, or heathen.
goy (1471), “nation; people; heathen.”
It is from the same root word as 1460, meaning ‘the back, back, or midst.’ These were the peoples that originated and came from the midst of or back from the beginning. Going all the way to Noah.
1460 [gev /gave/] n m. From 1342 [corresponding to 1354]; TWOT 326b; GK 1568 and 1569; Seven occurrences; AV translates as ?back? five times, ?among? once, and ?body? once. 1 the back, back, midst.
The word ‘nations’ are goyim! It refers to the people of the nations, the heathen of the nations.
Thus the ‘nations’ were ‘goyim’!
In the context of Gen 10:5
Vine’s Complete Expository Dictionary of Old and New Testament Words says:
Goy:
represents a group of individuals who are considered as a unit with respect to origin, language, land, jurisprudence, and government. This emphasis is in Gen. 10:5 (the first occurrence): “By these were the isles of the Gentiles divided in their lands; every one after his tongue, after their families, in their nations.
So by Chapter eleven of Genesis, we find the whole earth of one language, and of one speech. This was comprised entirely of the families of the sons of Noah, after their generations, in their nations, and by these were the nations divided in the earth after the flood!
Genesis 10: 32 These are the families of the sons of Noah, after their generations, in their nations: and by these were the nations divided in the earth after the flood.
Genesis 11:1 ¶And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech.
1. The whole earth was settled by the same family of Noah, i.e. his sons
2. The whole earth was of one language and one speech
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The nation [goy] and nations [goyim] above in Gen 10:5-11
were mainly political and national identity of people.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Goy is sometimes almost a derogatory name for non-Israelite groups, or the “heathen”:
The heathen is the same word as nations used in Gen 10:5 ‘goy’!
“And I will scatter you among the heathen, and will draw out a sword …” (Lev. 26:33).
The Covenant of Abraham, setting aside the ‘heathen goyim’ to be a ‘separated people’ unto the LORD God!
God had separated them. For he had promised Abraham.
Genesis 17:4 ¶As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations.
5 Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee.
6 And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee.
7 ¶And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee.
8 And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.
9 And God said unto Abraham, Thou shalt keep my covenant therefore, thou, and thy seed after thee in their generations.
Joseph, carrying on the line, Instrumental in deliverance of the tribes of Israel as the Lord God had planned!
Genesis 41:45 And Pharaoh called Joseph’s name Zaphnathpaaneah; and he gave him to wife Asenath the daughter of Potipherah priest of On. And Joseph went out over all the land of Egypt.
46 ¶And Joseph was thirty years old when he stood before Pharaoh king of Egypt. And Joseph went out from the presence of Pharaoh, and went throughout all the land of Egypt.
47 And in the seven plenteous years the earth brought forth by handfuls.
48 And he gathered up all the food of the seven years, which were in the land of Egypt, and laid up the food in the cities: the food of the field, which was round about every city, laid he up in the same.
49 And Joseph gathered corn as the sand of the sea, very much, until he left numbering; for it was without number.
50 And unto Joseph were born two sons before the years of famine came, which Asenath the daughter of Potipherah priest of On bare unto him.
51 And Joseph called the name of the firstborn Manasseh: For God, said he, hath made me forget all my toil, and all my father’s house.
52 And the name of the second called he Ephraim: For God hath caused me to be fruitful in the land of my affliction.
Joseph, ‘Jehovah has added’, Eldest son of Jacob by Rachael
Married Asenath:
We find the one whom ‘Jehovah has added’, given to Jacob in birth by Rachael who became instrumental in deliverance, preserving the line of, and promise of Abraham. This was Joseph.
He married a ‘goyim’ woman, whose name Asenath, means “belonging to the goddess Neith”
Goddess of War and Weaving-Neith
Symbols: bows and arrows, shields and weapons, Red Crown, weaving shuttle
Depiction: Depictions of Neith from Upper Egypt showed her as a woman with the head of a lioness. Other depictions showed her as a woman holding a specter or two arrows and a bow wearing the Double Crown of Upper and Lower Egypt.
Mythology: The goddess of war and weaving, Neith was one of the oldest Egyptian gods. Neith was considered both male and female in nature and was self-created. Originally worshipped and honored throughout Egypt as the goddess of war, her role evolved over time to the goddess of weaving. Neith was said to be the mother of Sobek and Re. According to myth, it was Neith who offered the solution to the dispute between Seth and Horus over who should succeed Osiris as the king of Egypt. Neith suggested that Horus take the throne and, as consolation, Seth take two Semitic goddesses. Neith’s wisdom prevailed with all of the gods agreeing to the arrangement, except Seth. The largest temple to Neith, called Sapi-meht, was located in the capital of the fifth nome of Lower Egypt, Sais. At Sais, the ram-headed creation god Khnemu was her husband and her son was Tutu, a form of the god shu.
She was the daughter of Potipherah, whose name means “he whom the Ra gave”
Other Names: Re Patron of: the sun, heaven, kingship, power, light.
Appearance: a pharaoh wearing the sun disk on his head.
Description: Ra was the almost universally-worshipped king of the gods and all-father of creation. A sun god, he was said to command the chariot that rode across the sky during the day. A king, he was the patron of the pharaoh. Ra is the most central god of the Egyptian pantheon. Ra’s position in the pantheon is unusual. He is the only god, apart from Osiris, who is definitely said to be not on the earth. Ra, it is said, is an aging god, still powerful, but too old to deal with his children any longer, so he has gone exclusively to the sky to watch over the world. Horus rules over the earth and the gods in his stead, demonstrating the divine right of kingship.
Worship: Worshipped widely throughout Egypt, Ra was the principal sun god for centuries.
It was from this union of a ‘goyim’ pagan woman, high court, with honor whose name meant she belonged to a pagan Goddess of War. Yet, the true God, Jehovah who had chosen Joseph for a purpose took this ‘goyim’ and united her with one who was in the line of the Promise of Abraham.
For the Lord God said, “I will make nations of thee and kings shall come out of thee”.
Gen 17:6 And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee.
It was at this time that we find the Gentiles, ‘goyim’ being introduced into the line through the union of Joseph and Asenath!
From this union which introduced the gentiles into the line of Abraham, one that was particularly pagan, heathen, and of the nations, came two sons.
Manasseh- H4519, Manasseh = “causing to forget”.
Ephraim- H669, “double ash-heap: I shall be doubly fruitful”.
Gen 41:51 And Joseph called the name of the firstborn Manasseh: For God, said he, hath made me forget all my toil, and all my father’s house.
52 And the name of the second called he Ephraim: For God hath caused me to be fruitful in the land of my affliction.
The Blessing of Israel, Jacob of Manasseh and Ephraim:
Right hand on Ephraim: [although he was the younger, he recieved the blessing of the elder]
Left Hand on Manasseh:
1. The God, before whom my fathers, Abraham, Isacc did walk
2. The God which fed me all my life long unto this day
3. The Angel which redeemed me from all evil
4. Bless the lads and let my name be named on them
5. Let the name of my fathers Abraham, Isaac [be on them]
6. Let them grow into a multitude in the midst of the earth
Genesis 48:14 And Israel stretched out his right hand, and laid it upon Ephraim’s head, who was the younger, and his left hand upon Manasseh’s head, guiding his hands wittingly; for Manasseh was the firstborn.
15 And he blessed Joseph, and said, God, before whom my fathers Abraham and Isaac did walk, the God which fed me all my life long unto this day,
16 The Angel which redeemed me from all evil, bless the lads; and let my name be named on them, and the name of my fathers Abraham and Isaac; and let them grow into a multitude in the midst of the earth.
17 And when Joseph saw that his father laid his right hand upon the head of Ephraim, it displeased him: and he held up his father’s hand, to remove it from Ephraim’s head unto Manasseh’s head.
18 And Joseph said unto his father, Not so, my father: for this is the firstborn; put thy right hand upon his head.
19 And his father refused, and said, I know it, my son, I know it: he also shall become a people, and he also shall be great: but truly his younger brother shall be greater than he, and his seed shall become a multitude of nations.
20 And he blessed them that day, saying, In thee shall Israel bless, saying, God make thee as Ephraim and as Manasseh: and he set Ephraim before Manasseh.
21 And Israel said unto Joseph, Behold, I die: but God shall be with you, and bring you again unto the land of your fathers.
22 Moreover I have given to thee one portion above thy brethren, which I took out of the hand of the Amorite with my sword and with my bow.
Right hand on Ephraim:
His seed shall become a multitude of nations
‘Of nations’, H1471; goyim, heathen, gentiles, nations’; these are of the nations, yet they are separated unto the Lord God. They are the ‘goyim’ the ‘gentiles’, the ‘heathen’, who have come out of the nations and their seed after them. This line through Ephraim would become part of Israel, yet in the end, it would include all gentiles, goyim, heathen through the work of Jesus Christ, Yeshua Ha Massiach on the cross.
Left Hand on Manasseh:
He shall be great but his brother shall be greater than he
Moses, gave blessings upon the children of Israel, this is that blessing upon Joseph, his children:
of this Moses said “let the blessing come upon the head of Joseph and upon the top of the head of him that was separated from his brethren. [the head of, upon all his seed].
This ‘blessing’ shall ‘push the people together to the ends of the earth’, these people Moses says is:
1. The Ten thousands of Ephraim
2. They are the thousands of Manasseh
Deuteronomy 33:13 And of Joseph he said, Blessed of the LORD be his land, for the precious things of heaven, for the dew, and for the deep that coucheth beneath,
14 And for the precious fruits brought forth by the sun, and for the precious things put forth by the moon,
15 And for the chief things of the ancient mountains, and for the precious things of the lasting hills,
16 And for the precious things of the earth and fulness thereof, and for the good will of him that dwelt in the bush: let the blessing come upon the head of Joseph, and upon the top of the head of him that was separated from his brethren.
17 His glory is like the firstling of his bullock, and his horns are like the horns of unicorns: with them he shall push the people together to the ends of the earth: and they are the ten thousands of Ephraim, and they are the thousands of Manasseh.
Israel delivered, came out of Egypt and two witnesses among many, two who saw and one was Balak who tried to get Balaam to curse Israel.
Numbers 23:8 How shall I curse, whom God hath not cursed? or how shall I defy, whom the LORD hath not defied?
Saying of Israel, the people who he now saw, that ‘from the hills I behold him: lo, the people shall dwell alone, and shall not be reckoned among the nations’ . Here the word nations is goyim, but it has a separation to it.
9 For from the top of the rocks I see him, and from the hills I behold him: lo, the people shall dwell alone, and shall not be reckoned among the nations.
It is not used as in a heathen context, but in a personal relationship of a people who ‘shall not be reckoned among the nations.’
Israel came out as one unit, yet it would take many years in the wilderness before this people were ready to take on the promise land and get what God had promised them. Even when they did get into the promised land they would see the kingdom split after the reign of Solomon son of David into:
1. Judah
2. Northern tribes, Israel, Ephraim
It was once again in Ephraim, Northern tribes, where the ‘goyim’ again mixed with the Hebrews. This time as the Northern kingdom fell due to apostasy and sin. This was judgment from the LORD!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Fall of the Northern Kingdom, Israel, Ephraim!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Children of Israel Sinned, they the ‘chosen, separated from the world’ by the Lord, had done as the ‘heathen’ or ‘goyim’ had done! Now they became just like those whom they were warned not to do!
2 Kings 17:7 ¶For so it was, that the children of Israel had sinned against the LORD their God, which had brought them up out of the land of Egypt, from under the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt, and had feared other gods,
8 And walked in the statutes of the heathen, whom the LORD cast out from before the children of Israel, and of the kings of Israel, which they had made.
9 And the children of Israel did secretly those things that were not right against the LORD their God, and they built them high places in all their cities, from the tower of the watchmen to the fenced city.
10 And they set them up images and groves in every high hill, and under every green tree:
11 And there they burnt incense in all the high places, as did the heathen whom the LORD carried away before them; and wrought wicked things to provoke the LORD to anger:
12 For they served idols, whereof the LORD had said unto them, Ye shall not do this thing.
13 Yet the LORD testified against Israel, and against Judah, by all the prophets, and by all the seers, saying, Turn ye from your evil ways, and keep my commandments and my statutes, according to all the law which I commanded your fathers, and which I sent to you by my servants the prophets.
14 Notwithstanding they would not hear, but hardened their necks, like to the neck of their fathers, that did not believe in the LORD their God.
15 And they rejected his statutes, and his covenant that he made with their fathers, and his testimonies which he testified against them; and they followed vanity, and became vain, and went after the heathen that were round about them, concerning whom the LORD had charged them, that they should not do like them.
The LORD God warned Israel:
Deuteronomy 4:6 Keep therefore and do them; for this is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the nations, which shall hear all these statutes, and say, Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.
7 For what nation is there so great, who hath God so nigh unto them, as the LORD our God is in all things that we call upon him for?
8 And what nation is there so great, that hath statutes and judgments so righteous as all this law, which I set before you this day?
9 Only take heed to thyself, and keep thy soul diligently, lest thou forget the things which thine eyes have seen, and lest they depart from thy heart all the days of thy life: but teach them thy sons, and thy sons’ sons;
10 Specially the day that thou stoodest before the LORD thy God in Horeb, when the LORD said unto me, Gather me the people together, and I will make them hear my words, that they may learn to fear me all the days that they shall live upon the earth, and that they may teach their children
The mixing of the ‘goyim’ and the ‘Hebrews’ in Samaria, the Northern Kingdom!
Certainly in contexts dealing with worship the goyim are the nonIsraelites:
The goyim are also those who have their own gods and do not serve nor know the true and living God. It is that God who had brought forth Abraham out of his place and made covenant with him.
The ‘goyim’ were the non Israelites who did not this true God. This is illustrated clearly in 2 Kings 17.
Second Kings 17 records the Northern Kingdoms last King. This kingdom, known as Israel, or Ephraim, had in totality 19 kings with 9 dynasties. The final king was Hoshea. All this happened in only 200 years.
In 727-722 bc, the Assyrian King Shalmaneser initiated the fall of Samaria. Many believe his successor Sargon II 722-705 bc actually seized Samaria and captured its people.
Thus the Northern kingdom of Israel ended approx 722 bc taken captive by Assyria.
As was the manner of many conquering nations, to prevent resistance, the Assyrians deported the tribes of Israel and mixed them with other minority groups.
It was the intermarriage of this people with the Israelites that the people became known as Samaritians.
The Assyrians allowed the Israelite priests to teach the worship of Yahweh. But instead of converting others and securing the Israelites, what occurred was synecretism, i.e. the merging of different beliefs and practices.
Although some returned to Jerusalem with Zerubbabel there was never any systematic return of these tribes.
It is was at the time of Ezra that the Samaritians were hated by the people of Judah [probably because of intermarriage and defilement of traditional beliefs they held]
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Israel had become divided by its sin and rebellion. God had allowed for the gentiles, the ‘goyim’ to inherit his promises. Yet there would be a time when God would join the formerly divided tribes of Judah and Israel known as the Northern Kingdom or Ephraim into one. It is that prophecy which is being fulfilled today!
Of Both Houses of Israel, Hosea says this:
Hosea 5:3 I know Ephraim, and Israel is not hid from me: for now, O Ephraim, thou committest whoredom, and Israel is defiled.
Of Ephraim it was said:
Hosea 7:8 ¶Ephraim, he hath mixed himself among the people; Ephraim is a cake not turned.
The Declaration of the Rebuke of both Houses of Israel
Hosea 9:10 I found Israel like grapes in the wilderness; I saw your fathers as the firstripe in the fig tree at her first time: but they went to Baalpeor, and separated themselves unto that shame; and their abominations were according as they loved.
11 ¶As for Ephraim, their glory shall fly away like a bird, from the birth, and from the womb, and from the conception.
12 Though they bring up their children, yet will I bereave them, that there shall not be a man left: yea, woe also to them when I depart from them!
13 Ephraim, as I saw Tyrus, is planted in a pleasant place: but Ephraim shall bring forth his children to the murderer.
14 Give them, O LORD: what wilt thou give? give them a miscarrying womb and dry breasts.
15 All their wickedness is in Gilgal: for there I hated them: for the wickedness of their doings I will drive them out of mine house, I will love them no more: all their princes are revolters.
16 Ephraim is smitten, their root is dried up, they shall bear no fruit: yea, though they bring forth, yet will I slay even the beloved fruit of their womb.
17 My God will cast them away, because they did not hearken unto him: and they shall be wanderers among the nations.
The Call to Break up your fallow ground-Repent
Hosea 10:11 And Ephraim is as an heifer that is taught, and loveth to tread out the corn; but I passed over upon her fair neck: I will make Ephraim to ride; Judah shall plow, and Jacob shall break his clods.
12 Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the LORD, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.
13 Ye have plowed wickedness, ye have reaped iniquity; ye have eaten the fruit of lies: because thou didst trust in thy way, in the multitude of thy mighty men.
“The Stick of Ephraim and the Stick, they shall become one stick”
Ezekiel 37:16 Moreover, thou son of man, take thee one stick, and write upon it, For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions: then take another stick, and write upon it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and for all the house of Israel his companions:
17 And join them one to another into one stick; and they shall become one in thine hand.
18 And when the children of thy people shall speak unto thee, saying, Wilt thou not shew us what thou meanest by these?
19 Say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his fellows, and will put them with him, even with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one in mine hand.
The Restoration:
Hosea 13:14 I will ransom them from the power of the grave; I will redeem them from death: O death, I will be thy plagues; O grave, I will be thy destruction: repentance shall be hid from mine eyes.
Hosea 14:4 ¶I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely: for mine anger is turned away from him.
5 I will be as the dew unto Israel: he shall grow as the lily, and cast forth his roots as Lebanon.
6 His branches shall spread, and his beauty shall be as the olive tree, and his smell as Lebanon.
7 They that dwell under his shadow shall return; they shall revive as the corn, and grow as the vine: the scent thereof shall be as the wine of Lebanon.
8 ¶Ephraim shall say, What have I to do any more with idols? I have heard him, and observed him: I am like a green fir tree. From me is thy fruit found.
9 Who is wise, and he shall understand these things? prudent, and he shall know them? for the ways of the LORD are right, and the just shall walk in them: but the transgressors shall fall therein.
The Return:
Jeremiah 31:8 Behold, I will bring them from the north country, and gather them from the coasts of the earth, and with them the blind and the lame, the woman with child and her that travaileth with child together: a great company shall return thither.
9 They shall come with weeping, and with supplications will I lead them: I will cause them to walk by the rivers of waters in a straight way, wherein they shall not stumble: for I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim is my firstborn.
10 ¶Hear the word of the LORD, O ye nations, and declare it in the isles afar off, and say, He that scattered Israel will gather him, and keep him, as a shepherd doth his flock.
11 For the LORD hath redeemed Jacob, and ransomed him from the hand of him that was stronger than he.
12 Therefore they shall come and sing in the height of Zion, and shall flow together to the goodness of the LORD, for wheat, and for wine, and for oil, and for the young of the flock and of the herd: and their soul shall be as a watered garden; and they shall not sorrow any more at all.
13 Then shall the virgin rejoice in the dance, both young men and old together: for I will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort them, and make them rejoice from their sorrow.
14 And I will satiate the soul of the priests with fatness, and my people shall be satisfied with my goodness, saith the LORD.
15 Thus saith the LORD; A voice was heard in Ramah, lamentation, and bitter weeping; Rahel weeping for her children refused to be comforted for her children, because they were not.
16 Thus saith the LORD; Refrain thy voice from weeping, and thine eyes from tears: for thy work shall be rewarded, saith the LORD; and they shall come again from the land of the enemy.
17 And there is hope in thine end, saith the LORD, that thy children shall come again to their own border.
18 ¶I have surely heard Ephraim bemoaning himself thus; Thou hast chastised me, and I was chastised, as a bullock unaccustomed to the yoke: turn thou me, and I shall be turned; for thou art the LORD my God.
19 Surely after that I was turned, I repented; and after that I was instructed, I smote upon my thigh: I was ashamed, yea, even confounded, because I did bear the reproach of my youth.
20 Is Ephraim my dear son? is he a pleasant child? for since I spake against him, I do earnestly remember him still: therefore my bowels are troubled for him; I will surely have mercy upon him, saith the LORD.

The Redemption: The Messiach:
During the time of Jesus, this enmity was still there:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The hatred between the Samaritans [mixed peoples with Hebrew] was great at the time of Jesus. The ‘goyim’ were seen as unclean heathens who did not know God!
The LORD Came to clear all this up, to save both Jew and Gentile.
Jesus brings in the Samaritans into the fold with his ministry!
Jesus taught on the good Samaritan: Luke 10: 30
-mercy is not just seen as coming from a race, but a person, who can be either hebrew or samaritan.
Luke 10:30 And Jesus answering said, A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, which stripped him of his raiment, and wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead.
Luke 10:33 But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him,
Jesus went to a city of Samaria and talked with the woman at the well! True worship being explained to the Samaritans.
John 4:5 Then cometh he to a city of Samaria, which is called Sychar, near to the parcel of ground that Jacob gave to his son Joseph.
6 Now Jacob’s well was there. Jesus therefore, being wearied with his journey, sat thus on the well: and it was about the sixth hour.
7 There cometh a woman of Samaria to draw water: Jesus saith unto her, Give me to drink.
The Hour will come when all true worshippers shall worship the Father in Spirit and in Truth!
John 4:22 Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.
23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him
Jesus Includes the commission of the church to included Samaria and the ‘uttermost part of the earth’! The great commission includes the ‘goyim’ and ‘mixed multitudes of Samaria’.
Acts 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
The Christ, Messiach, the Anointed one sent by God has redeemed all from the curse of the law of sin and death, who believe by faith. For all are under sin. But the ‘blessing of abraham’ has come on the gentiles through Jesus Christ. Not only gentiles, but also Jews!
Galatians 3:13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:
14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
22 But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.
26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
29 And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.
The Apostle to the Gentiles, Paul declares the ‘sure mercies of David’! Fulfills Is 55:3
Acts 13:16 Then Paul stood up, and beckoning with his hand said, Men of Israel, and ye that fear God, give audience.
17 The God of this people of Israel chose our fathers, and exalted the people when they dwelt as strangers in the land of Egypt, and with an high arm brought he them out of it.
18 And about the time of forty years suffered he their manners in the wilderness.
19 And when he had destroyed seven nations in the land of Chanaan, he divided their land to them by lot.
20 And after that he gave unto them judges about the space of four hundred and fifty years, until Samuel the prophet.
21 And afterward they desired a king: and God gave unto them Saul the son of Cis, a man of the tribe of Benjamin, by the space of forty years.
22 And when he had removed him, he raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also he gave testimony, and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfil all my will.
23 Of this man’s seed hath God according to his promise raised unto Israel a Saviour, Jesus:
24 When John had first preached before his coming the baptism of repentance to all the people of Israel.
25 And as John fulfilled his course, he said, Whom think ye that I am? I am not he. But, behold, there cometh one after me, whose shoes of his feet I am not worthy to loose.
26 Men and brethren, children of the stock of Abraham, and whosoever among you feareth God, to you is the word of this salvation sent.
27 For they that dwell at Jerusalem, and their rulers, because they knew him not, nor yet the voices of the prophets which are read every sabbath day, they have fulfilled them in condemning him.
28 And though they found no cause of death in him, yet desired they Pilate that he should be slain.
29 And when they had fulfilled all that was written of him, they took him down from the tree, and laid him in a sepulchre.
30 But God raised him from the dead:
31 And he was seen many days of them which came up with him from Galilee to Jerusalem, who are his witnesses unto the people.
32 And we declare unto you glad tidings, how that the promise which was made unto the fathers,
33 God hath fulfilled the same unto us their children, in that he hath raised up Jesus again; as it is also written in the second psalm, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee.
34 And as concerning that he raised him up from the dead, now no more to return to corruption, he said on this wise, I will give you the sure mercies of David.
35 Wherefore he saith also in another psalm, Thou shalt not suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.
36 For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell on sleep, and was laid unto his fathers, and saw corruption:
37 But he, whom God raised again, saw no corruption.
38 Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins:
The Prophetic Call in these Last Days till Continues:
Isaiah 55:1 ¶Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.
2 Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.
3 Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.
4 Behold, I have given him for a witness to the people, a leader and commander to the people.
5 Behold, thou shalt call a nation that thou knowest not, and nations that knew not thee shall run unto thee because of the LORD thy God, and for the Holy One of Israel; for he hath glorified thee.
6 ¶Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:
7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
The Nations of them that are saved:
Revelation 21:23 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.
24 And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.
25 And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.
26 And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it.
27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life.
Last Warning to the Gentiles: Judgment begins at Gods house!
1 Peter 4:17 For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God
Last Warning to the Gentiles: be not highminded but fear!
Romans 11:13 For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office:
Romans 11:17 And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert graffed in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree;
18 Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee.
19 Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be graffed in.
20 Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear:
21 For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee.
22 Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.
23 And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be graffed in: for God is able to graff them in again.
24 For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert graffed contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be graffed into their own olive tree?
25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.
26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:
27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.
28 As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers’ sakes.
29 For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.
30 For as ye in times past have not believed God, yet have now obtained mercy through their unbelief:
31 Even so have these also now not believed, that through your mercy they also may obtain mercy.
32 For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all.
