When reading the words of the Apostles we find much in their lives and what they faced. As we read it, or as I read it, I can literally look into the daily situations they came up against. For all they went through, they did not face the Judgment of a nation, per se, as we will see in these last days. Even the Prophets declared, rose up early, and warned Israel of coming judgment. The Prophets faced the judgment along with the rest of the people, howbeit, we find they like Jeremiah were allowed to stay in their native land or go to Babylon. Ezekiel, however, was led captive to Babylon, as was Daniel. But for all their experiences, the early church did not face this, but faced persecution. Theirs became one of the biggest persecutions of the church. It was the persecution while living in the Roman Empire at the hands of the Caesar’s who declared laws against the ‘Christian’ believers. I remember the words of David Wilkerson years ago talking about the ‘folly’ that would become inherent in Christian churches. One of those ‘follies’ was nudity! While preparing for one of our news shows I came across a church that heralded ‘complete nude Christian services’. There was even a segment where the ‘Pastor, nude himself’, proceeded to defend their idea as the interviewer listened to his response. I believe over the years I have seen almost everything in the church. Today, though, the slime and rebellion in the pulpit, meetings, and gatherings we call Christian take the cake. In other words, deception is bad and those attending are even worse at discerning what they are watching and experiencing.

If you could see in the spirit and look at the person performing in some of these meetings, you would see “unclean spirits like frogs, demons coming forth from the mouths of these people”, performing signs before a generation of people who are given over to lawlessness. It is the ‘utter folly’ being repeated today, a ‘folly’ that occurred in Israel’s day and is prophesied to occur again in the end times. It is here! Continue reading → Related posts:

The clock was mid past four am and I was heading out the door. Sadie our dalmatian bust out the door in front of me as I stepped onto the cement. This was typical for us, even in cold weather, the dog and I would go out to get the car ready, pack it with needed items for our early morning workout and then go inside.

This morning Sadie got a glimpse of something and was jumping in her usual ‘what is it, I see something episodes.’ She is our yard dog and this yard is hers. She patrols it religiously during the day, evening, and early morning. If anything is out of order, she lets us know with a bark. I have come accustomed to the different barks and know if it is animal or human. This morning it was an animal, probably a cat. She always wants to play with them, never hurt them. In the calm atmosphere of the moon, on the ‘Sea of Tranquility’, the eagle landed and stirred not only the dust that had settled but also the hearts and minds of people for generations. For the Apollo 11, it had been several days since leaving earth. But astronauts Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin, had made it with 30 seconds of fuel remaining, while Collins orbited in the command module Columbia. Breathing again regularly, the astronauts starting turning to normal color as they realized they were the first humans on the moon. This is recorded in an article on the Nasa.gov site where it is recorded for posterity that the ‘Eagle has landed.’ When the lunar module lands at 4:18 p.m EDT, only 30 seconds of fuel remain. Armstrong radios "Houston, Tranquility Base here. The Eagle has landed." John 6:
26 Jesus answered them and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Ye seek me, not because ye saw the miracles, but because ye did eat of the loaves, and were filled.
27 Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.
28 ¶Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God?
29 Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.
30 They said therefore unto him, What sign shewest thou then, that we may see, and believe thee? what dost thou work?

The Jews in Jesus day were not without miracles, that is true miracles done by the Lord. In fact, John describes the many miracles and signs he gave. In chapter six of John and verse twenty six the Lord pointedly says to the Jews gathered “Ye seek me, not because ye saw the miracles, but because ye did eat of the loaves, and were filled.” I ask myself when I read this “How can Jews where Jesus said “salvation is of the Jews”, be filled with a miracle feed like the loaves and fishes and still not grasp that this was a totally creative miracle done to prove he was the “True bread out of heaven?” Yet, the Jews who saw, did not believe the works he did. They were blinded by their own traditions, pride, and unbelief. The same Jews who persecuted the prophets and killed them still rejected those whom God sent to them, including Jesus of Nazareth. Society at times seems surprised when events change the course of their world. For instance, the recent and ongoing B.P. ‘Deep well’ blowout with all its toxicity that is destroying the eco-world it touches. Add to that the ongoing scene in the middle east where nations such as Iran plot to destroy another people, in this case Israel. Then we move to the Sudan where in times past different tribes of Islamic warriors slaughter, take captive, and overrun Christian tribes there as the whole world watched and did nothing. In this we in America watch in horror or even sometimes are indifferent as we turn it off. Here in this nation that indifference has been seen in the failure of the population to care enough to help, speak out, or stand up against what is an injustice, even if the government does it. Today is a literal signpost from the L-rd. In these parts it has been hot and unlike previous years of cool weather, this year we have had a true summer. The weather here along with the winds reveal signs of a change. Today it has been cooler unlike previous days. It has also been relatively quiet, with a clear sunny sky. All except for some distant spotty clouds and a breeze. This cool change in weather today is a sign. Between the wind and the cool, it tells us that there is a change in weather coming. When first coming to this country many folks believed the wind blew all the time. The truth is, it doesn’t. It just seems that way. You have to read the wind and the signs with it. There is always a sense of urgency when listening to an Evangelist, on fire Preachers, and others who have been relegated responsibility by the Lord. It seems there is always a place where we must be, finding ourselves outside of where were supposed to be. In this there seems to be a game of catch-up. We are never satisfied and in fact, for many of us, we are downright hard on ourselves. Between listening to preachers hit us on the head, or prophetic words telling us when destruction comes, or our own critical attitudes towards our own mistakes, we get tired. The attitude for many in the warning America crowd is described by the phrase “How Can I Wait?”

I mean by this we are in tune to destruction, chaos, and at times we seem to be saying to ourselves and many others, “how can I enjoy life, how can I plan a future, or what am I going to do?” All of this represents the end time thinking that with the situation we find ourselves in, there simply is nothing to do except face catastrophe. Take, for example 2012, the pundits and others have the whole world practically destroyed. “A dynamic testimony for anyone would be able to say, ‘I saw and bare record that this is the Son of God,’ but for us today, we live by faith and have not seen personally this Son of God, but we still believe, based on this testimony and others like it. For with this testimony, and the work of the Spirit of God, the anointing breaks open the darkness in our hearts to let in the light of the Gospel, the good news of salvation. That good news is, God sent forth his Son to save sinners, of which, I am; but thanks to God, through the ‘Lamb of God, I now have been rescued by the ‘blood of the covenant’. God has also given us his Spirit, which bears witness in our hearts, that we are the children of God! ”

John 1:34 And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God.

Romans 8:16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

1 John 5:6 ¶This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth.

There are so many passages in the Word of God that stand out to me. The Word of God, reveals to us the very heart of God. Through His Spirit, it is made real, with the anointing that the Word has in itself. One passage, or should I say section of scripture stands out today as I write this. This Newsletter will go out on the Fourth of July, 2010. It is in this celebration that people will be having a good time. From picnics to parades, fishing to bbq; everyone will be doing something on that day. Flags will be flown on some houses, and for many this will be a day to reflect on the day itself. For many others, they will give no thought as to it. They take for granted the blessings and go on with their lives anyway. As I reflect on this nation and the cost in blood to maintain what we have today, I believe the true cost is lost. We fight wars today, and even when I was in the Navy, we fought then. It was Vietnam, and lots of good men and women lost their lives, were hurt, and more were disabled permanently. We were fighting communism they said and even then we were told if we did not stop them in ‘Nam’, they would take over all of Southeast Asia. Well, we pulled out, lost the war, and communism never took over the region. Yes communism took Vietnam, but today it looks more like a thriving democracy than anything else. I can’t help but ponder what happened! Where was the threat? Were we lied too? A lot of good people died on both sides and for what? Real Estate, a name, an ideal like communism, or what?

The church is so preoccupied with the legal ramifications of what they see in the English usage of the word “Commandments” that they cannot see the forest for the tree’s. They cannot understand fully the Hebrew roots of our faith nor the Apostles who followed Yeshua’s teachings. We get so excited when someone uses “commandments” or even “law” that many times the off button is pushed and they no longer hear anything you say.

We are so caught up in loose grace, free faith, and a religious experience that is devoid of true power and even belief that it is a far cry from the powerful early church found in scriptures. Add to that the countless denominations, pastors, teachers, and all the rest, most of which have varied doctrinal stances, all of which can make for a confusing mess! When one considers hell, it is true, many do not consider it at all. The fact is, as Americans anyway, hell is that somewhat vague representative of a bygone era. One where death, destruction, and ever lasting torment reside. It gives forth the belching of fire, volcano’s, heat, sulfur, and darkness. As for Americans, sinners and hell have been replaced by fun and a do it your way mentality that has even invaded the church. The question then must be asked is America too civil to become a devil’s house? If it does become such or maybe as many believe it has already become one, what then? Will events in the nation become to change the very structure of this American society? I tell you and many who have seen the current political landscape have already seen the change. For years we have seen all forms of invasion to this nation, from outright debauchery to the illegals who have come to these shores to obtain what they can from this country. Parable of the Two Beasts

In the land there abode towns, cities, and fields. In this land the Masters had the hire of the land, for if anyone would do service, they must be under a Master. The Masters hired servants to keep their fields, to dress it and bring in the harvest. Also given to them were beasts called burden. Everyday the servants would pick up the beast named burden and carry it to the field. Once their they cared for, nourished it, and took it with them as they worked. Conduct worthy of the Gospel

"Revelation 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death."

Philippians 1:27 ¶Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel;

There is one thing our brethren in the faith left us, that is legacy. Both to do and to die, for the cause of in the service of Christ Jesus our Lord from whom all things flow. It is here that in this day and age we must put away all things which do not fit this cause. In America the faith of Christ has become a spectacle show that consists of gaudy and carnal displays. These displays bring forth in heroic measure our evangelists, messengers, prophets, teachers, and pastors. Within this group is myriad folks who all claim Christ in varying dubious ways from mysterious angels to gold dust, to riches if you give me money. The Wind Rivers in a bit of haze during the morning sun as the valley lay below!

As a Watchman I do many things, that is, have many hats to put on. We are small and in that, we are content as long as we know the Lord is working in us and through us. One thing I do besides Warning, teaching, and preaching on the radio, is write. I have written for many years, in fact since a child. I knew then, I would write. Deep inside the Lord had already put the talent, desire, and love to put into words, what he would lay on my heart. Now many years later, this is what I do.

This week found me in the midst of Tabernacles, but we had to leave town to take care of family business, very personal for us both. I went back to my home town where I was raised this last week and spent time with a very elderly father. He is the last of our line of elders. He has outlived all of the clan elders so to speak. Staunch German with a Norwegian mother, my dad is a believer in the Lord. He saw to it that mom and I were in church on Sundays. In that church I received my first bible, and saw our families both grandparents and my parents participate. Yet, for us, there was still something missing. When I grew older, the Lord dealt with me and I came to truly know the ‘born again’ experience in the Lord Jesus Christ. So this week, much of these memories came back to me. The sun was a bright one this morning and the air crisp. I hiked the workout bag back onto my shoulder as I headed to the car. “Thank you Lord for this day of mercy” I said out loud as I walked across the parking lot. I rolled down the window, put on some music as I waited for my companion to arrive. While I did so, the lot just off where the car was parked revealed golden and dry branches of various growth. They stood there, bending over slightly because of the winds we get here. As I surveyed the scene, indeed they were sentinels as to the changing of the gaurd of seasons.

The mountain stood before me as another beacon of the times we now were in. The year of 2010 is not over, but in all, nothing surprising occurred. More of what we had been warning about kept going on and the current administrations attempts to bring more socialized ways to America had been passed in the healthcare legislation. Although the dem’s succeeded and in so doing brought to forefront to many Americans how different this current sitting President actually was. The information guru’s at the White House kept churning out their doctrines and in the midst of it tried to convince Americans that the economy was doing fine and all was well in their world. The trouble was then and today, unemployment is not much better, banks on the troubled list amount to just under 900, and many experts outside of the White House see the economy world wide, but especially in America headed for a deep abyss. For many years now I have been speaking of the “overcoming faith” that we find in Habakkuk during his time on this earth. He indeed as did his people faced a time of judgment. We will not focus, however, on that particular judgment. We will focus on the thing which he says at the end of his faith statement. Make note of this, for it is important. “The greatest blessing is the redemption of all men through the atonement provided for us in the coming of the Son of God, Yeshua and his works, death, burial, resurrection, and ascension to the Father. Then finally his coming again to this earth to bring full redemption and glory to those who are his own.”

The summer has faded into fall, of sorts. As I write this the weather warning for our neck of the woods was for a frost that could kill gardens etc. So the one who is observant to these kind of warnings and who has a garden, will thus cover up their produce for the night to ensure a longer growing season. Even now the temperature is having a hard time reaching 65 degree’s. The sun now has a short time span. We can clearly see the sun moving farther south as its rays tend not to shine through certain windows as it did just a month ago. The daylight is shortening up, the seasons are changing, and now is fall hunting.
