Everything this week has been about Obama. Right after the inauguration, I did a couple of articles. I do not plan on giving him a spotlight in or on our web sites in the near future, unless it is so deemed. Our focus is to prepare and warn the believers. We have been warning for many years now and in the process have seen many changes in this nation. There is no doubt what lies in store for America.

Psalms 146:3 Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help. 4 His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish. 5 ¶Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God:

I can tell you this, the country called America is in dire straights and many do not know this. While we are sometimes hit with many emails on what is going from others who watch this process, many people do not think or could they imagine what is in store for them and others in this nation. Tapping the Vine

Micah 3:6 Therefore night shall be unto you, that ye shall not have a vision; and it shall be dark unto you, that ye shall not divine; and the sun shall go down over the prophets, and the day shall be dark over them.
7 Then shall the seers be ashamed, and the diviners confounded: yea, they shall all cover their lips; for there is no answer of God.

When I speak of 'Tapping the Vine', I refer to making wine from unrighteous grapes. That means there are Christians and whole churches who follow this practice. It simply means that they, instead of being filled with the 'sweet Good Wine' of the Holy Spirit, which flows from the Good Shepherd, Y'Shua, Jesus Christ himself, they look after other Gods. For some time now I have covered the trouble with seeking after prophets, soothsayers, astrologers, and others who prophecy and make predictions of what is coming. Simply put, Christians today are not fully persuaded and in fact I believe many have not been taught that there is only one fountain we should go to. This is the same fountain Israel was told to go to. The difference today is we have the 'blood of the covenant' fulfilled through the Messiah Jesus, Y'Shua. We also have more fuller revelation of this salvation through the LORD and the arrival of the Holy Ghost on Pentecost. All this should be enough to bring the church in America to her senses, but it is not! Add to this, many just sit there in the pews and do the religious thing and really not seek the true Vine and his nourishment. Without Him, we can do nothing. When one considers hell, it is true, many do not consider it at all. The fact is, as Americans anyway, hell is that somewhat vague representative of a bygone era. One where death, destruction, and ever lasting torment reside. It gives forth the belching of fire, volcano’s, heat, sulfur, and darkness. As for Americans, sinners and hell have been replaced by fun and a do it your way mentality that has even invaded the church. The question then must be asked is America too civil to become a devil’s house? If it does become such or maybe as many believe it has already become one, what then? Will events in the nation become to change the very structure of this American society? I tell you and many who have seen the current political landscape have already seen the change. For years we have seen all forms of invasion to this nation, from outright debauchery to the illegals who have come to these shores to obtain what they can from this country. There is one thing our brethren in the faith left us, that is legacy. Both to do and to die, for the cause of in the service of Christ Jesus our Lord from whom all things flow. It is here that in this day and age we must put away all things which do not fit this cause. In America the faith of Christ has become a spectacle show that consists of gaudy and carnal displays. These displays bring forth in heroic measure our evangelists, messengers, prophets, teachers, and pastors. Within this group is myriad folks who all claim Christ in varying dubious ways from mysterious angels to gold dust, to riches if you give me money. Note* before you read this, take care to understand this is just a prose, a story, to present a truth. It is not an actual dream or vision but it is part of the prose. Luke 21:25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;
26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

The days have been long and as I stood there, wonder and awe filled my soul. For as I looked to the heavens, the past days of the signs in the sun, moon, and in the stars faded. I also forgot the distress in the nations, for all the trouble that had been going on. The heavy seas, with their waves, during hurricane season had been tremendous. Yet for all this, I suddenly lost track of everything. For as I stepped out of my refuge where my family and I had taken up shelter, the heavens seem to disintegrate. The very powers that held them together seem to come apart. The earth and its horizon looked to roll up like a scroll as the heavens peeled back. The day was dark, yet not light. So too, the night was light and not darkened. As I looked up a great white cloud, so dazzling white it blinded the eyes as I strained to see it. Then as lightening peeling down from that great sight, lo, I beheld a white horse with a rider, and behind him the armies of heaven. Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Hebrews 8:10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people: 1 Peter 1:13 ¶Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;

There is no doubt today that the believer that does conform to the world will be an unbeliever, a lukewarm Laodacian Christian, or even an unbeliever in time. The world seeks to bring the believer far from the roots that should hold him or her. It's [by this I mean the world, the devil, demons, spirits, and the flesh of man itself] attacks basically come in three areas of life: 'lust of the flesh', 'lust of the eyes', and 'pride of life'. The enemy of our soul attacks our biblical roots which are grounded in the Word of God, Prayer, and a life of leading and nurturing by the Spirit of God. In this life as believers in Y'Shua [Jesus], belief and faith are paramount. "For without faith, it is impossible to please God, for those who come to God must believe that he is and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him" ~ Hebrews 11:6. In this verse we find co-equals here, namely 'faith' and its brother 'belief'. Without these we are lost. How can we belief if we have no faith and how can we have faith without any belief? But as Christians, let me say this, we are more believers than Christian. Why? Because I know many Christians who are not believers, yet for the believers I know, they believe, and they are also Christian. Maybe a play on words, but the truth remains that today in America, the Christian faith is close to idol worship and carnality. It is rooted and rotted in the nation of America where the 'sugar plum gospel' and the 'fairy tale Jesus' sit around in a haze of unbelief and convince themselves everything will be okay. This is the time of the Laodacian church, no doubt, but we also have the 'Dead' Sardis church here as well. This is why, for those who will 'believe', and have 'faith', they must learn to lean on, rely upon, and trust in the Lord more than ever. Not giving themselves over to mindless thinking, or to men's tall tales, or to doctrines of men which are wrong, but they must learn to 'renew' their minds in Christ. Yes it was in the beginning that God, brought forth the earth, the heavens, and all that therein is. It was this sovereign, just, and true God, whom then was known yet unknown. For when man first came, out of the earth so God formed man, then woman afterwards. Thus the relationship began between God and man.

Genesis 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. Genesis 2:18 ¶And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him. Genesis 2:22 And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.

Yet in this, man today does not rely on the veracity of it. Especially the bible and as the 'naysayers' hold to 'Darwinism which opposes creationism.' In this, for those who believe, that in the Lord God all things were created according to John 1, this is what matters most. The bible for many today is Gods record of what happened and this is our copy of that record. Comforted

A psalm by the Watchman Dana Smith Behold, I layeth down. Comforted of my beloved; Beloved, yet comforted. Quiet in thee, Peace residing, Yet all around me lieth darkness. Unrest calls to me, I do not answer, For the LORD is my strength. You Truly are my Light and Hope, O LORD, forever.

Hebrews 10:10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

Those who believe but have not seen!

John 20:29 Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.

We have all heard of doubting Thomas'! Those people that no matter what you say about something, will not believe it unless they see it. Ever hear of the 'show me state?' The phrase "show me state" has some origins that are not clear as to where it came from. Some attribute the saying to a 1899 speech by Congressman Willard Vandiver, others to Missouri laborers brought to Colorado to quell a miners strike and required frequent instruction. No matter where it came from, it rings true today that 'Missouri' is the 'show me state'. As well Thomas was a 'show me' follower of the LORD Jesus. He would not believe by mere words, he would need to see personally. In America, this is very true, as a result, many are unbelievers and narrow minded. These also are people who do not see the Word of God in any special light.

John 16:27 For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God. 28 ¶I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father.

The road leading towards the mountain peaks was fairly narrow. Today, though, it has been somewhat expanded, even though, more needs to be done. My dad was driving, mom busy chatting with dad. I was in the back seat and as I recall, my younger sister on the other side. The time was the early 60's and I was a young teen at the time. A tall mountain of snow was facing me as we drove through a canyon of snow piled up along the road. The time of the year, winter and the place Jackson Hole Wyoming. Whenever we took a road trip during this time of the year, the snow would be piled very high on both sides from the heavy onslaught of white stuff we got in the area every year. Our goal was to go see the Elk herds wintering in Jackson. This was a fun family event, even though it took us a long time to get there. Continue reading → No related posts.
