As a Part of BlogTalkRadio: Be Proud
BlogTalkRadio is a revolutionary new concept that’s changing the way individuals and businesses communicate with their audiences. You should be proud of being part of such a powerful new medium. But don’t just take our word for it:
Yesterday, Washington Post columnist Howard Kurtz posted a piece about BlogTalkRadio that makes us proud. In his column Media Notes, Kurtz explains how “With BlogTalkRadio, the Commentary Universe Expands.”
The article talks about the story behind our Citizen Broadcast Network, how some “unlikely stars have been born,” and BlogTalkRadio’s emergence as a tool for more empowering and interactive experiences online.
“It’s great that BlogTalkRadio is recognized by the number one media critic in the country, Howard Kurtz, as “a populist force in cyberspace,” said BlogTalkRadio CEO Alan Levy. “This validates BlogTalkRadio as a powerful online medium that is a true Citizen Broadcast Network. As I said in the article, my Dad would be proud.”
And earlier, Conde Nast’s Portfolio.com posted an article entitled “All Talk?” about BlogTalkRadio with some impressive quotes:
“BlogTalkRadio…has become the dominant player in the latest media trend, one that allows anyone with a Web connection to host a talk show on any topic at any time of day.”
BlogTalkRadio is “the media station of the future” -Michael Harrison, publisher of Talkers Magazine
And then Talkers Magazine’s Jayne Pearl followed up with “The State of Internet Talk”, which prominently features BlogTalkRadio as a force in the new age of radio.
Be proud of what you’re helping to accomplish, spread the word and help make BlogTalkRadio the new medium of 2008!
