I cannot believe that a nation endowed with so much intelligence can be so self-destructive. Listening - as I do - to all the debates about which is the best way for Israel to go at this time, I am amazed at the utter idiocy of the solutions proposed by both the Gentile powers as well as some Israeli politicians.

What is the reason? How can a nation endowed by the Creator with so much intelligence be blind to what is so clear for any person who has the honesty to face the truth to see?

Let's begin with the unintelligent notion of the two state solution being peddled so hard now via George Mitchell in the name of the new Obama administration. Wasn't this notion tried - for almost three years! - under the leadership of Ehud Olmert's government, which often demonstrated its willingness to give the Arabs about 97% of the so-called occupied territories? The grasslands lay out before in all directions as the road swung back and forth among the canyons, hills, and fields. The pavement was good and the road, itself had fairly heavy traffic. The antelope spotted along the fields in groups of 15-100 were a constant resident in these parts. Deer were grazing, but their presence not as the antelope was. The sage, lightly green with a bluish tinge swayed gently in the breeze as the sun beat down on the coming of the green this spring. Before I ever wrote a note of this, as I sought the Lord, this "black flag of Islam" was given to me. The article was one pointing to the sheer magnitude of change by this President and this white house to make Islam a greater part in America. But with this came a greater surprise. I have not researched the 'black flag of Islam', nor any of these flags. But I did research it to do a final touch up on the article itself. What I found was the "black flag" represents the Mahdi. When Muslems see his flag arise out of the east, they will come to follow Shahada, or what we know as Jihad. But more disturbing is the vast english speaking chat sites and forums that I found. Not only is there a target for the 'black flag of Islam over the White House', but over 'Downing street in the UK' as well. Add to this the total domination by this group is expected. Now we have a President with an agenda to push Islam in America as never before. Is there another reason for this? Read this and make a decision for yourself after prayer and seeking the Lord. This is so clearly seen in the majestic vision by the angel in Revelation when he says: "Come I will show you the bride, the Lamb's wife." One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues came and said to me, "Come, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb." And he carried me away in the Spirit to a mountain great and high, and showed me the Holy City, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God. It shone with the glory of God, and its brilliance was like that of a very precious jewel, like jasper, clear as crystal. It had a great, high wall with twelve gates, and with twelve angels at the gates. On the gates were written the names of the twelve tribes of Israel. There were three gates on the east, three on the north, three on the south and three on the west. The wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them were the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. (Revelation 21:9-14; emphasis added) This is actually entirely consistent with many other scriptural references which hold that in the end there will be only ONE FLOCK, ONE ISRAEL OF GOD, ONE BODY, ONE JERUSALEM, ONE BRIDE - Jew and Gentile forged into one Tree or Commonwealth of Israel. Under the strong influence of the separation - which particularly Constantine, the Roman emperor, was responsible for - which cut the Gentile church off from its original Jewish tree and roots, Christianity became a separate, distinct religion. And even after the Reformation and various evangelical and charismatic awakenings, Gentile believers on the whole were taught that they belonged to a separate body called the church, or Bride of Christ. that would one day be separately treated with a heavenly rapture before the Lord in His mercy returns to Israel. This, however, is NOT what the Bible teaches, and certainly in this wonderful passage in The Revelation we unmistakably find that Israel - all the tribes of Israel -are seen as part of the bride or the heavenly Jerusalem.
