Jim Searcy on Israel and the Last Days
by Jim Searcy

The set up of an Islamic terrorist state in the Mountains of Israel,
also known as the West Bank, or Judea and Samaria will bring the
wrath of God, and the battle of Armageddon. This has been the plan of
Antichrist Illuminati Luciferians for more than 200 years.

Should American Jews support the creation of a Palestinian state as
policy of the United States? What about American Christians? Jer.
16:19, 50:6. Should our positions be different?

The Jews are looking to the coming of the Messiah. Christians believe
Jesus Christ is the Messiah and are looking for His return. Same God.
Same Old Testament. Christians also have New Testament Scriptures,
which the Jews need to read more than the Christians would ever need
to read the Talmud. What does the Word of God say about what our
position should be as to the creation of a Palestinian state?

The Word of God says that the land, including the present boundaries
of Israel (Gen. 15:18; Num.34:1-12), is the land promised to Abraham
and his seed forever. Gen. 17:1-8; 48:4; 2 Chr. 20:7; Ps.37:27; Lk.
1:55.

The Messiah is the seed of Abraham to whom the promise was made. Ps.
89:29; Isa. 54:1-6, 65:9;Gal. 3:14-17.

Those that believe in the Messiah will share in the inheritance of
this promised land forever. Dt . 4:38; Isa. 65:9; Ps. 51:11; Ps.
69:35-36; 132:12-14; Isa. 60:21; Ezek. 37:12; Acts 26:16-18; Gal.
3:28-29; 4:7;
Eph. 1:5; 1:10-14;3:6; Heb. 6:11-20.

Those that harm Israel face the wrath of God. Gen. 12:1-3; Ps. 122:6;
Isa. 34:6-10, 41:11,49:25-26, 54:15-17, 59:18-19, 60:12-14, Jer.12:10-
16; Rev. 16:14-16, 19:11-21.

The Messiah will reign from Jerusalem forever. Jer. 23:1-8; 33:1-26;
Ezek. 37:1-28; Zech.2:10-13; 8:1-23; Mic. 5:2; Acts 1:6-11;
Rev.11:15; Rev. 20:1-9; 21:1-10.

Jews and true believers by faith in Jesus Christ are the people known
as Israel, or born again people, forever. Gen. 32:28; 2 Sam.7:24; Lk.
2:32; Jn. 4:22; Acts 26:16-18; Rom.11:25-27; 1 Cor. 12:12-14; Gal.
3:28; Eph.2:11-13; 4:4-7; Rev. 2:9.

The people of Israel are not to enter into any agreement with the
Palestinians. Ex. 23:32; Dt.7:2.

And if one believes the Word of God, then you know that the land of
Israel and Jerusalem is not man’s to give away. It is God’s. Gen.
1:1; Ex.19:5; Dt. 12:5-7, 11; 2 Chr. 6:6; 2 Chr. 12:12; Zech. 8:1-23.

The antichrist laws on the books now nailed down by the so-called
Patriot Act, make it to be terrorism to tell governments these facts
and truths from the More Sure Word of God.

If Jews and Christians do not stand against this policy of a
Palestinian state, we deny our faith, belief and obedience to the
Word of God. To support an Israeli land give away, is to reject our
own inheritance. This is what the Bible says. If you believe the
Bible to be truth, you must oppose a Palestinian state.

Who is a Jew? “For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither
is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: But he is a Jew,
which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the
spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of
God.” Rom 2:28-29 GOD PLEASERS. Yes Christians, that is New
Testament, and may be the best definition of a Jew ever penned.

You may NOT consider yourself a REAL Christian, unless you have a
heart desire to identify with the Jews and bless, and be a blessing
to Israel. True Christians are part of Israel by the blood redemption
price of the King of the Jews, the PERFECT LAMB of GOD, Yeshua ha
Meshiach. If you do not love and identify with the people of Israel,
then you are NOT a True Christian or Jew. You have been deceived by
Lucifer and his many lies and false doctrines of devils.

In opposing the insanity and antigod, antichrist, Palestinian State,
you oppose a policy of the US government to fight terrorism and you
become a terrorist, according to federal laws brought in by the Bush-
Clinton-Bush syndicate of sudden destruction.

Most will be unconvinced. After all, Israel is a long way away,
and “those people” have been fighting over there for years. And after
all, we are at war so we should keep our mouths shut. And after all,
trust the government.

Most do not understand the significance of Israel in last day’s
prophecy. So let us look to some other consequences arising from the
terrorist laws that may share a wider audience, and bring it much
closer to home.

What if your Church speaks out against the policies of the government
and has its 501(c) tax exempt status revoked? What if the elimination
of arms held by citizens becomes a policy of the government in
an “effort to reduce or eliminate terrorist activities”? What if
United Nations troops are sent into your city in an “effort to reduce
or eliminate terrorist activities”?

It will soon become the policy of your government to fight terrorism
and require that bio-metric forms of identification will be required
at airports and border crossings. This means face scanning technology
and digital fingerprint identification cards (“smart cards”). Do not
kid yourself, this will quickly become a National Identification
Card. This is an “effort to reduce or eliminate terrorist
activities.” In fact it is NOW law and the fact is that Bible
Believers are the terrorists according to the antichrist laws brought
in by the Bush-Clinton-Bush syndicate of sudden destruction.

What if you believe this to be against your religion? At best, you do
not get to travel or drive anymore. At worst, you become a terrorist
if you oppose the policy. These National Identification Cards and
other non-implanted biometric security devices will fail.

People are much more resourceful. Terrorism will not be stopped. The
final solution will be a biometric microchip identification implant.
It is implanted into the wrist or forehead because of temperature
considerations. The microchip implant is a reality. Try to adopt a
pet at the pound without one.

Think about it. What better way to stop terrorism once and for all.
There can be no counterfeiting. The microchip will have the
capability to contain all the information on your DNA, fingerprint,
palm print, face algorithm, retina scan, voice verification,
signature verification, country of origin, health history, criminal
history, and any thing else the government wants to know about you.

Every purchase you make will be tracked in real time. Only those that
have the microchip can receive government benefits, vote, drive and
travel. The law enforcement advantages are impressive. Prisoners
could be tracked, parolees and other non-institutionalized convicts
monitored. Purchases of automobiles, firearms, dangerous or
potentially hazardous items or materials restricted. And with the
internal GPS technology, the government will be able to pinpoint the
location of any person at any time.

No one can buy or sell without the microchip because it will be
required for all financial transactions. Just a swipe of the hand
over the scanner will be all that is necessary. No identification. No
credit cards. No money. No credit checks. No privacy. Given the
current climate of fear being created in America, they may just skip
right to the mandatory implementation of the device.

Most are ready to give up about anything for the promise of peace and
safety. The objective is implementation of the microchip implant on a
global scale. But some people will resist. The fear of the Luciferian
Illuminati occultists controlling the world’s governments is that
masses might resist.

What threat would be so significant as to take away all resistance of
the people to such an invasion to privacy? Mark it down, that is the
purpose of the biological warfare and its terrorizing propaganda.
Consider this. What better motivation for people to consent to the
implantation of the microchip implant than to save themselves from a
biological warfare threat? Just as inoculations, the microchip is
implanted by hypodermic needle. The chip is that small. That would do
it. The end of (almost) all resistance. Inoculations could be given
by the government, but only to those also willing to take the
microchip implant.

Remember, this is supposed to eliminate terrorism. Take the mark or
risk death, and become a possible threat to others who are loyal
citizens who obey the antichrist government dictates. Total control
of the world’s population becomes possible. It quickly becomes a
reality.
What does this have to do with the terrorism laws? The microchip
implant is the Mark of the Beast foretold in the Revelation of Jesus
Christ given to John. Many Christians believe the microchip implant
is the Mark of the Beast.

Rev. 13:16-18 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and
poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in
their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had
the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here
is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the
beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred
threescore and six.

Rev. 14:9-11 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud
voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his
mark in his forehead, or in his hand, The same shall drink of the
wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into
the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and
brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of
the Lamb: And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and
ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and
his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.
What better way to convince those Christians that refuse to take the
microchip than to give them the “terrorist” threat of biological
weapons?

Some will rationalize it as a medicine of sorts. Others will use
circular reasoning – that can’t be THE mark, because I haven’t been
raptured yet. And what of those that refuse to deny their faith
because they know the microchip implant is the Mark of the Beast
regardless of what their Church tells them?

They will not be allowed to take their chances with the biological
weapons. The microchip will be a policy of the government in
an “effort to reduce or eliminate terrorist activities”. Speak
against it, you are a terrorist. To tell people that if they take the
Microchip Mark of the Beast, that they will go to hell will be
domestic terrorism under Sec.802(a)(5)(B).

Such an activity “appear[s] to be intended– (i) to intimidate or
coerce a civilian population”. Think about it.

They won’t need to wait for us to get sick from biological weapons
now being sprayed in chem-trails. They now have the laws to lock us
all up as terrorists.

So what are we to do?

Phil 1:28 And in NOTHING TERRIFIED by your adversaries: which is to
them an evident token of perdition, but to you of salvation, and
that of God.
Mt. 10:39 He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth
his life for my sake shall find it. Mt. 16:25 For whosoever will save
his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake
shall find it. 16:26 For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the
whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in
exchange for his soul?
Now is the time for these words of Jesus to be brought to pass by
Real True Christians:
Mat 10:18-22 And ye shall be brought before governors and kings for
my sake, for a testimony against them and the Gentiles. But when they
deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it
shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak. For it is
not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in
you. And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the
father the child: and the children shall rise up against their
parents, and cause them to be put to death. And ye shall be hated of
all men for my name’s sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be
saved.
Mark 13:9 But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up
to councils; and in the synagogues ye shall be beaten: and ye shall
be brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony
against them.
Luke 21:13-18 And it shall turn to you for a testimony. Settle it
therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what ye shall
answer: For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your
adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist. And ye shall be
betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends;
and some of you shall they cause to be put to death.
And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake. But there shall
not an hair of your head perish.
Jn. 15:12-14 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I
have loved you. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay
down his life for his friends. Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever
I command you.
Rom. 8:38-39 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor
angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor
things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall
be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus
our Lord.
Eph. 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against
principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of
this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
2 Tim. 3:12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall
suffer persecution.
1 Jn. 3:16 Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down
his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
And so all the world shall impose the Mark of the Beast and go to war
against Israel, all under the pretext of preventing terrorism.
Mark it down, the “War on Terrorism” is “War on the Saints.” And all
Jews and True Believers in Jesus Christ that oppose those policies
shall be terrorists under the laws of man.

The government is going to “prevent the free exercise” of
our “religion”. We will be defined as criminals and shall have our
possessions taken away, be imprisoned, tortured and killed. And those
that help the Christians and the Jews will also be imprisoned.

By the Word of God, resist this evil or become a part of the evil.
Believe God. Remember how he destroyed the Israelites that did not
believe him. God destroyed them for rejecting His Promised Land. Do
not do this great Sin again. Do not fail to identify and stand with
Israel against the insanity of a Palestinian State. Do not take the
Microchip Mark of the Beast. Do not reject the Word of God as truth.
Child of God believe God. He cannot lie. Warn the Saints. Are you
willing to die for the Lord Jesus Christ, if that is the result of
obedience to the Word of God? Or will you hear Him say to you, I
don’t know you. Will you choose life with eternal damnation or death
with eternal life?

Here is the bottom line:
John 11:25-26 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the
life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he
live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die.
Believest thou this?

Do you REALLY Believe this?

Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem. Pray Psalm 83 every day. Only be
very strong and of good courage. Stay IN the Word.

2 Timothy 4:6 For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. 7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:

When reading the words of the Apostles we find much in their lives and what they faced. As we read it, or as I read it, I can literally look into the daily situations they came up against. For all they went through, they did not face the Judgment of a nation, per se, as we will see in these last days. Even the Prophets declared, rose up early, and warned Israel of coming judgment. The Prophets faced the judgment along with the rest of the people, howbeit, we find they like Jeremiah were allowed to stay in their native land or go to Babylon. Ezekiel, however, was led captive to Babylon, as was Daniel. But for all their experiences, the early church did not face this, but faced persecution. Theirs became one of the biggest persecutions of the church. It was the persecution while living in the Roman Empire at the hands of the Caesar’s who declared laws against the ‘Christian’ believers.
I find great ‘live ability’ in these writings of scripture by the hand of the Apostles, through the inspiration of the Spirit of God. We can peer into the daily life and see what they faced. It helps us to understand these were real people facing real situations. They believed in the same Lord, walked by faith as we must, and faced tribulation as the Lord warned we would all face in this life. The second book of Timothy is seen as being written by Paul after he was arrested the second time [some say at Troas because of 4:13] and taken to Rome. This was the persecution instigated by Nero in A.D. 64. The serious manner is illustrated in these verses for Paul is now ready to be offered and he saw his time of departure [death and to be with Lord] soon. In his cell I can see him praying, fasting, and possibly reading what he had of the Torah and the Prophets. He wanted to see Timothy again and warned him against ‘Alexander the coppersmith’ who did much evil to Paul.

2 Timothy 4:6  For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand.
7  I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:
8  Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
9  ¶Do thy diligence to come shortly unto me:
10  For Demas hath forsaken me, having loved this present world, and is departed unto Thessalonica; Crescens to Galatia, Titus unto Dalmatia.
11  Only Luke is with me. Take Mark, and bring him with thee: for he is profitable to me for the ministry.
12  And Tychicus have I sent to Ephesus.
13  The cloke that I left at Troas with Carpus, when thou comest, bring with thee, and the books, but especially the parchments.
14  Alexander the coppersmith did me much evil: the Lord reward him according to his works:
15  Of whom be thou ware also; for he hath greatly withstood our words.
16  ¶At my first answer no man stood with me, but all men forsook me: I pray God that it may not be laid to their charge.

Paul when first arrested was able to live in a quarters and had many people come and go to see him. Now in this persecution, Nero intended to destroy this upstart faith and all who promoted it.

Paul, the apostle, who before was called Saul, after his great travail and unspeakable labors in promoting the Gospel of Christ, suffered also in this first persecution under Nero. Abdias, declareth that under his execution Nero sent two of his esquires, Ferega and Parthemius, to bring him word of his death. They, coming to Paul instructing the people, desired him to pray for them, that they might believe; who told them that shortly after they should believe and be baptized at His sepulcher. This done, the soldiers came and led him out of the city to the place of execution, where he, after his prayers made, gave his neck to the sword.[source-http://www.biblestudytools.com/history/foxs-book-of-martyrs/paul.html]

Of course, Nero failed, but many like Paul died during this. John was also persecuted during this time and Fox’s book of Marytrs says of John that they “tried to boil him in oil”, but he would not die.
John-The “beloved disciple,” was brother to James the Great. The churches of Smyrna, Pergamos, Sardis, Philadelphia, Laodicea, and Thyatira, were founded by him. From Ephesus he was ordered to be sent to Rome, where it is affirmed he was cast into a cauldron of boiling oil. He escaped by miracle, without injury. Domitian afterwards banished him to the Isle of Patmos, where he wrote the Book of Revelation. Nerva, the successor of Domitian, recalled him. He was the only apostle who escaped a violent death. [source-http://www.biblestudytools.com/history/foxs-book-of-martyrs/john.html]

Falling short of killing John, they banished him to Patmos, where the LORD intended him to write of the things he was shown regarding the ‘apocalypse’ or ‘revealing of Jesus Christ’. Both the Prophets of old and the Apostles had to trust in this God whom we serve. We had like faith, even though, they were Jewish and many of us Gentiles. Thanks to God, we through Faith in Jesus Christ have likeminded faith and have received of the Promises of Abraham. We know today through the Revelation of the New Testament of the Passover Lamb, the sacrifice, and the grafting in of the Gentiles.

In these verses in Romans, Paul lays out the Gentiles who believe and the Jewish nation, Israel who were ‘disobedient and gainsaying people’. The gentiles form a nation who did not seek God, but came to know him, through Jesus Christ. It is this that God is using to ‘provoke’ the Israel of today to believe. Paul details this in Romans 11. It is here, though, in these lines of scripture that we can trust the veracity of scripture and the fact that God is not a man that he could ever lie. What he says is truth. Therefore, “whosoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved”, is one truth that all men and women, jew or gentile can trust.

Romans 10:9  That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10  For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
11  For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
12  ¶For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
13  For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
14  How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
15  And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
16  But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?
17  So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
18  But I say, Have they not heard? Yes verily, their sound went into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world.
19  But I say, Did not Israel know? First Moses saith, I will provoke you to jealousy by them that are no people, and by a foolish nation I will anger you.
20  But Esaias is very bold, and saith, I was found of them that sought me not; I was made manifest unto them that asked not after me.
21  But to Israel he saith, All day long I have stretched forth my hands unto a disobedient and gainsaying people.

Of Israel’s experiences, trials, and troubles, we need to take a lesson. The church today is in denial of this fact. The church is today a weak, rich, poor, ilk of a people that represents God. The fact today, I believe is that society and the church alike are in a state of denial. One that doesn’t see judgment coming, nor especially the church who acknowledges that judgment will begin in the house of God. We are warned bluntly that God will not make excuse for sin. He has provided his Son to bring you into his presence, yes, but we are told to purge ourselves from iniquity. We confess sin, forsake sin, and walk in newness of Life in Christ. We do not become bond servants of sin, lust, or the desires of the flesh and mind. We are bond servants of Christ and he is in us, therefore, we are new creations in Christ and these lusts have no power over us.

1 Peter 4:17  For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?

2 Timothy 2:19  ¶Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.
20  But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour.
21  If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every good work.

But we see in today’s church and in society that inquity abounds, rebellion is rampant, and the fact is that “society and the church have an open, naked, indifference” to the things of God, his holiness, and his laws. Judgment fell upon Israel for this mindset, it will fall upon the church. In both cases, Israel and the church today, God will repay according to your works. He is no respector of persons! Paul outlines to the Romans these points in verse 6, saying that God, “will render to every man according to his deeds.” Finally, adding that “there is no respect of persons with God” in verse 11.

Romans 1:32  Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

Romans 2:1  ¶Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things.
2  But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against them which commit such things.
3  And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?
4  Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?
5  But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;
6  Who will render to every man according to his deeds:
7  To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:
8  But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,
9  Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;
10  But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile:
11  For there is no respect of persons with God.

Just as the Prophets lived in the shadows of God’s warnings to Israel and their eventual ‘furnace of affliction’.

Isaiah 48:10  Behold, I have refined thee, but not with silver; I have chosen thee in the furnace of affliction.

So too, the Apostles lived in the shadow of Rome’s influence and the eventual persecution that would take them out of the land of the living and into the presence of God. These Apostles worked and lived to prepare the believers for the time when the original Apostles would be gone. In their place would come false teachers and others who would not spare the flock bringing in heresy. Add to this would be persecution of a nature that forced many believers into the underground catacombs beneath Rome. All through history we see the foundations of faith lead and stamped with the blood of martyrs. All through history we find nations and peoples who like the nations today, who ‘disregard’ and have ‘naked indifference’ to the things of God, including his warnings.

My friends you and I as believers and followers of our LORD are living in the shadows of judgment. This is a unique time, for we will see this end of the age usher in the presence of the millennium and our Messiah Jesus Christ, Yeshua. But before that comes, there will be a time when this God will be sure the ‘nations’ KNOW that I AM the LORD! This time is spoken of as a “Snare” by our LORD and called a “time of Jacobs trouble” in scripture.

Isaiah 45:5  ¶I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me:
6  That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the LORD, and there is none else.

Everyday that we mark off the calendar is one closer to this judgment which will envelope the world. America, the church, and all others will be affected by this. But make no mistake here, there is a difference between them that know God and them that do not. It is here that the dichotomy shifts. God will take care of them that are his! Jesus prays in John 17 and verse 15 to the Father that he “should not take them out of the world, but that he should keep them from the evil.” This evil, is actually, ‘the evil’, refering to the devil, satan. He is the evil one, and our God will keep us from him. He will wage war against us, but we will overcome!

John 17:15  I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.
2 Thessalonians 3:3  But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.

Our reward is ours, as we overcome, we shall inherit all things, and it is given to us as a truth, which is, “I will be his God, and he shall be my son [or daughter]”

Revelation 21:6  And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.
7  He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

Let him, therefore, scripture says: “if he is unjust, let him be unjust still, if he is filthy, let him be filthy still, if he is righteous, let him be righteous still, if he is holy, let him be holy still.” For the reward of all is given to each man, a reward for being “unjust and filthy” but, a reward for being “righteous and holy.”

Revelation 22:10  And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand.
11  He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.
12  And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.
13  I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
14  Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

In view of this, my friends, let me add this: “your faith will give you victory over the world”, according to John. John also says in Revelation summarizing this ‘victory’ as being three part: i.e. first, overcoming by the blood of the Lamb [born again of the Spirit], by the word of your testimony [what Jesus did for you and in you, and who he is], and you love not your lives unto the death!

Revelation 12:11  And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

1 John 5:4  For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.

Truly, we are living in the shadows of history. These shadows today reveal the judgment to come. Judgment is standing on the ramparts of the earth, put there by the LORD and his light is casting out the warnings to all people. Beloved we are not in darkness that this day should come upon us unaware. The world and the people who do not know God are in darkness and cannot see this judgment. You and I do, therefore stand in the LORD. We understand many others have gone before us. The prophets of old, standing in the shadows of judgment on Israel. The Apostles and the early church standing in the shadows of persecution by Rome and the Caesars. Then the centuries of faithful Christians who were led as ‘lambs to the slaughter’ for their faith. They too, were in the shadows of these last days of which we live. We are the testimony to these days and the faithfulness of our God and our Lord. We are in the very time before the ‘revealing of our LORD’ in the sky!

Revelation 19:11  ¶And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
12  His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
13  And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
14  And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
15  And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
16  And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.

Signs of the Storm

Signs of the Storm

a Psalm
By the Watchman Dana G Smith

Day LORD Dark

Amos 5:18 Woe unto you that desire the day of the LORD! to what end is it for you? the day of the LORD is darkness, and not light.

Psalms 32:5 I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the LORD; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah.

Another storm approaches, a sign of the times.
The wind is blowing, bringing it in, no sign of snow, yet;
But the signs reveal, the storm is coming, soon!
I sit here, looking out feeling it now,
The certainty of the storm, but also the judgment.
What judgment you may ask?
Gods judgment for sure!
At times, some moments, that is,
I am at a loss for all the true words,
The correct phrases and description of what is coming.

Psalms 40:10 I have not hid thy righteousness within my heart; I have declared thy faithfulness and thy salvation: I have not concealed thy lovingkindness and thy truth from the great congregation.

Proud Heart, Proud Words, and Judgment

Proud Heart, Proud Words, and Judgment

By the Watchman Dana G Smith
Words: 4480

Keywords: Jeremiah, Judah, Lord, God of Israel, Wickedness, Proud, Sign

Israel

If there were ever a proud nation, that would be America, or so the thought comes. But the truth is, Israel, who knew the True and living God, saw its own pride and downfall as well. In fact since the time of the Babylonian destruction of Jerusalem in Jeremiah’s day, they have faced the fact that their kingdom, temple, and ways were gone. In a moment, destroyed through the judgment the LORD God had sent. It was nevermore to be built again. Nevermore, that is until God brought his people back from all the world were he dispersed them.

As for America, its people, and the church in this nation, well pride goes with the territory of being one of most blessed nations on earth. That is, until the same God who destroyed Israel, Jerusalem, and its temple, sends judgment in its fullness upon this nation. In this we must understand that we are now and have been seeing God slowly withdrawing his blessing and sending his judgments upon this country. But we must also know that we are surely not the most wicked of the nations on earth. No, likewise, Israel and Judah was not as well. The one item both nations have in common is the fact they were both founded by and blessed through the LORD God. It was the LORD who established Israel and it was the LORD who saw that this nation would be created and also who blessed it raising it to the top of all nations.

But the one thing we must not do is follow pride with proud hearts and proud words. There is no doubt today, there are more and more who see things going wrong. Many still don’t understand and will stay that way, in darkness, until the very end. Others will be proud and suffer the judgment for it. While still others will understand, repent, and seek the LORD. This is what I call a remnant. The remnant believers who will turn to the LORD in all their efforts to find him and his hand upon them.

As we ponder these thoughts, let us stroll through Chapter forty four of Jeremiah and find some important points that pertain to us. Points that we can learn from. Points that will save us trouble and heartache in the end.

Thus the Word Came:

After judgment upon Judah, with Babylon destroying the temple, Jerusalem, people, and carrying some captive along with the holy things, there was a remnant in the land of Judah. People who the LORD God had allowed to be there. He could have thoroughly erased Israel and all its people. Then this God could have raised up stones for a people. But in his mercy, he did not! It was during this time that Jews who scattered out of Judah and its surrounding lands for the high hills when the Babylonian armies marched in, began to come back. The King of Babylon, Nebuchadnezzar had appointed a king in the land, giving him orders and then left.

Through intrigue, this king was killed and the remaining princes with their men sought Jeremiah in an effort to find out if God would bless their leaving Judah. You can read all this in chapters 42 through 44 of Jeremiah. To make a long story short, the LORD told them to remain in Judah or they would face famine, sword, and death in Egypt. This group ignored the Words of God and took all the people and Jeremiah to Egypt. We take up the story there as Jeremiah is speaking to this stubborn group of Jews who would not listen.

The word of the LORD came to Jeremiah. As with all the words the LORD gave to Jeremiah concerning his people, they would not listen. There is no doubt even today in our nation, God continue’s to give a word to his people, but they along with the example of these Jews, persistently do not listen.

Thus another Word for these Jews came, A very important Word!

Jeremiah 44:1
¶The word that came to Jeremiah concerning all the Jews which dwell in the land of Egypt, which dwell at Migdol, and at Tahpanhes, and at Noph, and in the country of Pathros, saying,

Judgment on Judah

You would think by now the Jews in both Israel and Judah would understand that when Jeremiah spoke a Word of the LORD, it came true. None believed Jerusalem, its temple, and many people would be destroyed. None believed God would dare judge his own chosen people, those called by his name. None believed this LORD would have all his holy things carried captive to Babylon by Goyim, unclean gentiles. But this God did.

Yet for all this Jeremiah brings a word to remind these people that the LORD [covenant and personal name of God] of Hosts [the highest authority over all agencies there is] and the God of Israel [their own personal God who was called by their name, Israel] had brought evil upon them, destroying Judah and making it desolate!

This people had their own name ‘Israel’ attached to the God who loved them so. By their own pursuits and lusts they sought after other Gods who were not Gods. In doing so they defiled the name of God. They thus provoked God to anger for their persistent wickedness and harlotry by going after other Gods who were not Gods. They did these things which even their forefathers, nor they had ever heard of. Yet they did eventually hear and do wickedly with other Gods. The stage being set for the judgment they had received.

Jeremiah 44:2
Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Ye have seen all the evil that I have brought upon Jerusalem, and upon all the cities of Judah; and, behold, this day they are a desolation, and no man dwelleth therein,

Jeremiah 44:3
Because of their wickedness which they have committed to provoke me to anger, in that they went to burn incense, and to serve other gods, whom they knew not, neither they, ye, nor your fathers.

I Rose Early and Sent Prophets

Jeremiah reminds them that before this destruction of their beloved Jerusalem, temple, lifestyle, and people, God had arose early. He did so [for we know God doesn't ever sleep so how can he rise early] by sending in his voice on earth to Israel, through his servants, the prophets. He sent them with his word to tell them not to do this abomination and to repent.

As with many people, they did not listen, choosing instead to ignore the warnings and still went ahead pursuing their own thing, so to speak. The continued in their wicked ways and harlotry. As a result, God sent his destruction, but not before many, many years of prophets who warned his people of judgment to come if they did not repent.

Moreover, God still judges nations and peoples. God still expects his people to not do wickedly! If God judged both Judah and Israel [the northern kingdom] for their wickedness he will judge us and other nations. If God destroyed his own temple, sent his holy things for use in the service of the temple captive to Babylon along with his people, he will also destroy the harlot church, send his people into a smelter, and let all people know he is God, the LORD; who is governor of the nations and ruler of his people who call him LORD! He will also destroy all other idols, Gods, and powers who oppose him and his righteous ways!

Jeremiah 44:4
Howbeit I sent unto you all my servants the prophets, rising early and sending them, saying, Oh, do not this abominable thing that I hate.

Jeremiah 44:5
But they hearkened not, nor inclined their ear to turn from their wickedness, to burn no incense unto other gods.

Jeremiah 44:6
Wherefore my fury and mine anger was poured forth, and was kindled in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem; and they are wasted and desolate, as at this day.

Proud in Spite of the Judgment I Sent

But unbelievable as it sounds, in spite of the judgment, the remnant who were left in the Land still were not humbled, nor did they fear God. They were certainly afraid of the judgments God sent, that is why they wanted to go to Egypt where none of these things occurred. This thought in their minds was comforting for some reason because in their delusion they thought this God could not or would not come after them in Egypt. But they forgot one thing, they were a covenant people. Ones who had a history of knowing this God. Their forefathers had known this God, seen his hand at work. Now they were in Egypt defying what Jeremiah had told them, which was straight from God, “Do not go down into Egypt”.

Jeremiah 44:10
They are not humbled even unto this day, neither have they feared, nor walked in my law, nor in my statutes, that I set before you and before your fathers.

The Proud Heart “We will not Listen”

Not only were this a proud rebellious lot, but now they stood defiant before Jeremiah. This is a problem for all flesh. If you love death, then go ahead and hate this God. For surely death will come if you in pride and foolishness hate the LORD God. This group of remnant Jews stood with all their wives, and a great multitude before Jeremiah and stubbornly told him, in our lingo, “go get lost Jeremiah.”

Jeremiah 44:15
¶Then all the men which knew that their wives had burned incense unto other gods, and all the women that stood by, a great multitude, even all the people that dwelt in the land of Egypt, in Pathros, answered Jeremiah, saying,

Stand in the Old Paths & Walk Therein!

Jeremiah had told them earlier to ‘stand in the good way, and walk in it.’ This would be where they would find rest and peace in their souls. But walking in the LORD God’s commands and not going after other Gods was not in their logic. They ignored the watchmen God had sent, ignored his stern warnings to walk in the ways or commandments of the LORD. These watchmen ‘sounded the trumpet’ as a warning blast to Gods people. They were saying “awaken you who sleep, awaken you who do not walk in the true ways of the LORD, repent and seek him so that this judgment does not find you”! Yet in all this, God’s own people ignored it! They were fine, rich, and in need of nothing!

Jeremiah 6:16 Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein.
17 Also I set watchmen over you, saying, Hearken to the sound of the trumpet. But they said, We will not hearken.

Condemned by Their Own Words

Be careful what you say before God. I can tell you without reservation or equivocation, that God will hold you to what you speak. Even if you speak foolishly! This group of remnant Jews, who saw the words Jeremiah spoke come to pass, still did not fear the LORD. They spoke directly to the Prophet and Watchman of God saying “we will certainly do whatsoever thing goeth forth out of our own mouth.” That is astonishing to me that after all this they were so hardened and foolish that they would challenge God and his prophet, a proven one as well. There was no guess work in this, Jeremiah had proven he was a Prophet to all of Judah. In addition they said, we will “burn incense unto the queen of heaven, pour out drink offerings to her, just as we all have been doing all along.”

A careful study of this will also reveal they saw that when they did this, i.e. serve other Gods that no evil came upon them. Of course this is a lie. For God had been sending judgments all along. It was the grace of God that forebear upon them. He had been warning them through his prophets. This people took this forbearance and grace of God as the work of their foolishness and idol God they were serving. They thought any blessing, peace, and comfort came from this God, the queen of Heaven.

Jeremiah 44:17
But we will certainly do whatsoever thing goeth forth out of our own mouth, to burn incense unto the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her, as we have done, we, and our fathers, our kings, and our princes, in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem: for then had we plenty of victuals, and were well, and saw no evil.

The queen of heaven they were serving was the Babylonian goddess, Ishtar. Which is where our own ‘statue of liberty’ replica came from. They made her cakes, and gave her drink offerings. All of which brought the abomination to the level of unbelievable, since they had flour and grain offerings to the real God, along with drink or wine offerings. This worship involved the whole family. The problem here is this people did wickedly and only left off from following their harlotry after it was too late and God had begun to send judgment. When this judgment came, they did not want to see it as judgment for their harlotry, but saw it as failing to serve this Goddess Ishtar. Much of the world today is still involved in worshipping demons in this fashion. Yes, these people do so see demonic influence, supernatural occurrences, and more to convince them that what they do is true and certain. But in fact it is a lie and a delusion.

Jeremiah 44:18
But since we left off to burn incense to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her, we have wanted all things, and have been consumed by the sword and by the famine.

Jeremiah 44:19
And when we burned incense to the queen of heaven, and poured out drink offerings unto her, did we make her cakes to worship her, and pour out drink offerings unto her, without our men?

The LORD God Acknowledges and Sends Judgment for their own Words!

The LORD God then accepts and says that the words they have spoken out of their own mouths will in fact be fulfilled by their own hands. For when they do the things they have said they would do, then judgment would be upon their own heads, through their own hands.

Here scripture doesn’t say why all the crowd went together against the LORD. But they did. Maybe many followed the crowd and what the majority felt. In other words peer pressure. It is hard to say, but no doubt if they or some of them had just said to the LORD, “we repent” and followed the words with heartfelt action like going back to Judah, then God would have heard and forgiven them. But they did not!

In fact the LORD God said to Judah, i.e. all that dwell in the land of Egypt, saying “I will watch over them for evil and not for good.” Further God says that “all the men of Judah that are in the land of Egypt shall be consumed by the sword, by famine, until there be an end to them.”

Jeremiah 44:24
Moreover Jeremiah said unto all the people, and to all the women, Hear the word of the LORD, all Judah that are in the land of Egypt:

Jeremiah 44:25
Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, saying; Ye and your wives have both spoken with your mouths, and fulfilled with your hand, saying, We will surely perform our vows that we have vowed, to burn incense to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her: ye will surely accomplish your vows, and surely perform your vows.

Jeremiah 44:26
Therefore hear ye the word of the LORD, all Judah that dwell in the land of Egypt; Behold, I have sworn by my great name, saith the LORD, that my name shall no more be named in the mouth of any man of Judah in all the land of Egypt, saying, The Lord GOD liveth.

Jeremiah 44:27
Behold, I will watch over them for evil, and not for good: and all the men of Judah that are in the land of Egypt shall be consumed by the sword and by the famine, until there be an end of them.

The LORD Establishes a Sign of Whose Word will Stand!

It is here that the LORD says some will escape the sword that comes upon Egypt. This sword comes by Babylon again. Those who escape will be a witness, again of the fact that the Word of the LORD comes true. That the stubbornness and pride of the people met the Words of the LORD through his Prophet. Thus this remnant will know that the Words of the LORD stood and not the words of foolish and prideful men who refuse to repent and lead their families after the ways of the True and Living God, the God of Israel.

Jeremiah 44:28
Yet a small number that escape the sword shall return out of the land of Egypt into the land of Judah, and all the remnant of Judah, that are gone into the land of Egypt to sojourn there, shall know whose words shall stand, mine, or theirs.

Jeremiah 44:29
And this shall be a sign unto you, saith the LORD, that I will punish you in this place, that ye may know that my words shall surely stand against you for evil:

The Counsel of the LORD Stands Forever!

Even today we have the same kind of men, women, and nations of peoples. All who foolishly make claims, speak unwise, and pursue things that will bring death upon them. Today the whole world will someday meet with the ‘son of perdition’ mentioned in 2 Thessalonians chapter 2. This will be a wicked one who will lead multitudes in delusion against the LORD. He will speak against the God of heaven and seem to get away with it, that is until the LORD returns and puts an end to it.

Today we find that in America there are as well many who continue to foolishly and with pride speak out. They are going to do this or that! They will do as they feel! No one is going to tell them what to do! They will believe in this God or that one. They will believe in a force and not any True God. Then there are those, who as fools, say in their heart, ‘there is no God.’

We have many churches, denominations, and Christians who think all this warning is allot of bunk. It is trash, it is old fashioned! It will never happen say they! God is love, he won’t do this to the church and America. Well, all I can say is this, wait and see whose words come to pass, the Word of the LORD or your own! Be careful, The “Counsel of the LORD” stands forever!

Psalms 33:10 The LORD bringeth the counsel of the heathen to nought: he maketh the devices of the people of none effect.
11 The counsel of the LORD standeth for ever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations.

I close with this my friends, here are some scripture portions. The Word of God say’s the ‘Eye of the LORD is upon them that fear him’. Do you hope in this God, even our Father through Jesus Christ [Y'SHUA Ha Massiach]? Do hope in his mercy? Do you seek him, cry to him, and face troubles today? If so, the ‘Eye of the LORD’ is upon you! His ‘angels encamp around you who fear him and this God will deliver you.’ It is here that you who trust in HIM, truly so, in faith, in action, and with a whole heart need to believe and receive this fact, there are many afflictions of the righteous, but this God will deliver you. All those who trust in Him will not be left desolate, for he will always be there. Yes there will be trouble, a smelter, persecution, and trials, but this God will never leave you nor forsake you. In fact, you may meet death for your faith, for the servant is not above his master. We are called to follow at all costs. The question is, what are you going to do? These scriptures are mighty ‘weapons to use in prayer’ and in your daily life. There are many such scriptures, but these are just a few.

At the end of this is a prayer psalm. It is what I call a Prayer warriors Psalm. If you are facing troubles, you can make this Psalm a prayer, tailor it to your needs and pray it out loud! God is faithful, he cannot lie, will not forsake you, and no one who hopes in him will be desolate. He will bring you unto himself.

The Eye of the LORD is upon them that Fear Him, those that Hope in His Mercy!

Psalms 33:18 Behold, the eye of the LORD is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy;
19 To deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine.
20 Our soul waiteth for the LORD: he is our help and our shield.
21 For our heart shall rejoice in him, because we have trusted in his holy name.
22 Let thy mercy, O LORD, be upon us, according as we hope in thee.

The LORD Who hears, delivers, and Saves!

Psalms 34:4 I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.
5 They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed.
6 This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.
7 The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.
8 O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.
Psalms 34:17 The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.

The LORD Redeems His Servants who Trust in Him!

18 The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.
19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.
20 He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken.
21 Evil shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate.
22 The LORD redeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate.

The Warring Prayer for the Saint who is facing troubles!

This is a great Biblical prayer for those facing troubles, use this as a base for you praying against those enemies, either flesh or spirit who assail you. Some parts may not fit your situation, use the parts which do, make it your own prayer, and use it in your defense against the enemy.

First shall be Last

The First shall be last and the last shall be first!
“A lesson in Kingdom Priorities”

The other day as I came to stop at the local tire dealer thoughts of finishing this tire repair were utmost. It had been another day, one that began early, very early. The night before our tire went flat and the businesses were closed that repaired them. I always have a tire repair kit with ‘vaporized glue’ that goes into the tire via glue and air. This stops the hole nicely, but the tire needs repaired. So the next morning here I was. I walked into the dealership and a guy was reading the paper, no one was at the counter to take my job order. I stood there a minute or so and nothing. The guy reading the paper finally came behind the counter and smiled saying “I will find someone to help you.” “That’s Good, I thought to myself” as I looked around the showroom filled with tires and rims.

A guy came up and started to take my order. As I stood there watching the man try to find our account in his database, he looked up and said, “I’m in the M’s now.” This referred to the accounts, of course, and I waited for him to get to the S’s. Finally in the group where our account was to be located, he could not find it. I went out to the car and found the last receipt from this dealer when they did work for us, on the corner was the number. I went in and gave it to the counterman who had given up taking our order and now, though I went in first and was first to be waited on, now I was second. But the last of two. So here I was, the last, though I was first. I waited, getting a little troubled that this guy so quickly shoved my business to the side and took another customer, but as I waited the Lord gave me this, “The first shall be last and the last shall be first.” I smiled to myself as I pondered this quote from scripture.

Finally my order was taken and the other guy’s truck was the first in the bay to be fixed. Then our car was taken next to the bay where the other customer’s truck was. Thus here I was last in the bay. Again I thought of this “the first shall be last and the last shall be first.” It would be a 45 minute wait so I went down to the river to take pictures, pray, and possibly write. After the time was up I stood in the showroom waiting for the car to be done, nothing yet. I went outside and within a few minutes our car was done. Yes, that’s right. Even though I was last in the bay, our car was first to be done. So although I was first, yet I was last, and while I was last, still I was first. What a lesson for me today, thanks LORD!

I called the wife and let her know of a lesson today the LORD showed me in practical terms. Terms I could definitely get the point. I further looked over the gospels, one part in particular comes alongside what the lesson learned was. It was here as I read how the Lord stunned the disciples when they heard Jesus say “Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven – Mtt 19:23.” This statement was made even clearer in the context of the Rich young ruler had kept the commandments. All good young Jews at this time would indeed observe the commandments and consider themselves to be of Abraham. This young rich ruler, which, scripture would later say ‘went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions’ Matt 19:22. Why was this young man so sorry? Was it just because he had great wealth, possessions, and thought that if he just kept the commandments it would be okay? If we look further into this section we see that he called Jesus ‘Good Master’ and wanted to know what good thing he could do to inherit eternal life! Of course, today we know that in the flesh, there is no good thing, but although Jesus was God’s son, He put the Father first as usual by refusing to be called good and saying that only “God is good, vs 16″. Here the context brings to light a ‘rich young ruler who in appearance had it all’. He had wealth, possessions, and did good, but on top of all that he kept the commandments. The point here is what many today miss, you cannot buy your way into heaven. You cannot do one single good thing to inherit heaven. For this young man to keep all the commandments and yet not know the Son of God who now stood before him was blindness. This young man would keep all the commandments but not follow one single commandment from the Son of God. The Lord had called this young man, but this rich young man did not heed the call. The call to give up everything you had, money, wealth, possessions, and even your religious upbringing to follow the LORD was too much. Therefore he went away sorrowful. This young man would never realize that to know God truly, he had to come to the Son of God, Y’Shua and believe [trust in, rely on, cling too] in this Messiah.

Moreover this whole section speaks of those who indeed would give all to follow the LORD. It speaks of those who are part of the kingdom of God because they have come as little children and believed what the Son of God told them. But even though the group of followers who were Y’Shua’s disciples saw and heard this, they were stunned to say the least. This sounded to them as if no one could be saved. But in the call from God all things were possible Jesus said to them.

Matthew 19:13  ¶Then were there brought unto him little children, that he should put his hands on them, and pray: and the disciples rebuked them.
14  But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.
15  And he laid his hands on them, and departed thence.
16  ¶And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?
17  And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.
18  He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness,
19  Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
20  The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet?
21  Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.
22  But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions.
23  ¶Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven.
24  And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.
25  When his disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved?
26  But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.

One in particular, Peter saw this and wanted to know “Behold, we have forsaken all, and followed thee; what shall we have therefore? Matt 19:27″. It was still in the mind of the disciples that Y’Shua had come to bring in the kingdom on earth. If that was so they thought, as his first disciples then they would have seats of power, judgment, wealth, and be at the side of God himself. They still did not understand the full scope of the suffering servant Isaiah wrote about. This was the backdrop as Peter wanted to know what about us!

Jesus spoke to them all, even though it was Peter who asked the question. This must of been in the minds of all of them as they watched in horror at the thought of someone not being able to enter the heaven if he kept the commandments. The Jews at this time knew how to be righteous and work their way to heaven, or so they thought, Jesus had come to bring the full measure of salvation and understanding to them all. But he would have staunch enemies in the religious camp of the Pharisee’s and Sadducee. Jesus told them that in the ‘kingdom to come’, those that have followed him, would ”sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel Matt 19:28″. Further he also said that “every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name’s sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life vs 19″. Mark’s gospel says in chapter 10 and verse 30 that this would be “now in this time” and “with persecutions” plus in the “world to come eternal life.” In both sections speaking on this the LORD puts the phrase, “The first shall be last and the last first”.

Mark 10:28  Then Peter began to say unto him, Lo, we have left all, and have followed thee.
29  And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel’s,
30  But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.
31  But many that are first shall be last; and the last first.

Matthew 19:27  Then answered Peter and said unto him, Behold, we have forsaken all, and followed thee; what shall we have therefore?
28  And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
29  And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name’s sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.
30  But many that are first shall be last; and the last shall be first.

Luke chapter 18, verses 18-34 also speaks to the Rich young ruler as well. In Luke’s account it says in verse 22 that the LORD knew he lacked one thing. He had to give that thing he treasured most, i.e. ‘his possessions, wealth, pride, and his religion’. Y’Shua was turning on its head, the religious perception and teaching that the Jewish religious leaders had been teaching. This was not about a ‘kingdom of God’ you could see. Jesus came to bring salvation to all men and the ‘kingdom of God’. But this kingdom would be within men until that time when God would live with men on earth, in the ‘regeneration or the millennial kingdom’. Jesus told them what he was doing, he came to be delivered up to the Gentiles, mocked, entreated spitefully, spit on, scourged, put to death and on the third day he would be resurrected. But in all this they did not understand that the LORD came to fulfill all things written by the prophets concerning the Son of Man.

Luke 18:31  ¶Then he took unto him the twelve, and said unto them, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem, and all things that are written by the prophets concerning the Son of man shall be accomplished.
32  For he shall be delivered unto the Gentiles, and shall be mocked, and spitefully entreated, and spitted on:
33  And they shall scourge him, and put him to death: and the third day he shall rise again.
34  And they understood none of these things: and this saying was hid from them, neither knew they the things which were spoken.

It was a kingdom Jesus brought that would not come with observation at this time. The kingdom, Y’Shua said is ‘within you Lk 17:20-21′. The kingdom indeed would come someday, but in the future. When this kingdom would come Y’Shua [Jesus] would light up the heavens as lightening does from one part of the heaven to the other so all see it, so all will see when he comes to bring in the kingdom of ‘regeneration.’ Until that time, there would be deceptions, deceivers, false Christ’s, false messiah’s, and people would desire to see the ‘kingdom’ and many would be deceived. A whole generation would face this someday, a time as in the days of ‘Noah’ and likened unto the ‘days of Lot’.

Luke 17:20  ¶And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:
21  Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.
22  And he said unto the disciples, The days will come, when ye shall desire to see one of the days of the Son of man, and ye shall not see it.
23  And they shall say to you, See here; or, see there: go not after them, nor follow them.
24  For as the lightning, that lighteneth out of the one part under heaven, shineth unto the other part under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in his day.
25  But first must he suffer many things, and be rejected of this generation.
26  And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.
27  They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.
28  Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;
29  But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.
30  Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.
31  In that day, he which shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back.
32  Remember Lot’s wife.
33  Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it.
34  I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.
35  Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
36  Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
37  And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Wheresoever the body is, thither will the eagles be gathered together.

The call to the rich young ruler and many today has gone out. But in this, ‘the first shall be last and last shall be first’ is directed at what the Son of God came to do and why. He came to ‘seek and save’ those who are lost. Today, the call still goes out. Many have had as the young rich man did, i.e. received God’s call! God’s first call to men is that ‘all men everywhere repent. Acts 17:30′ Just look to those things he had. He kept his religious ideas, his money, his possessions, and rejected following the LORD, for the cost was too high. The same today. The Lord is saying to us as he did to the young rich man who had an idea of religion and getting to heaven, don’t trust in what you can do or what you see. Trust in me, give up all you have and follow me. Again, the cost was too high and for many still is.

Acts 17:30  And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:

The phrase ‘the first shall be last and the last shall be first’ has to do with the highest most noble effort man can make on the Lord’s behalf. What is that? It is the call of obedience, to follow what the LORD has said to do. You see in the world, if your first, you win. All the highest accolades, awards, money, fame, fortune, and wealth are yours if you are first. This is the worlds wisdom. If your last, well you lose! If your poor, you lose! If your ugly, you lose! If your fat, you lose! If your anything the world considers last, you lose. But this is the worlds wisdom based on the ‘lusts of the flesh’, the ‘pride of life’, and the ‘lust of the eyes’. God’s wisdom is higher, to the world, this wisdom cannot be understood nor attained!

Matthew 20:1  ¶For the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which went out early in the morning to hire labourers into his vineyard.
2  And when he had agreed with the labourers for a penny a day, he sent them into his vineyard.
3  And he went out about the third hour, and saw others standing idle in the marketplace,
4  And said unto them; Go ye also into the vineyard, and whatsoever is right I will give you. And they went their way.
5  Again he went out about the sixth and ninth hour, and did likewise.
6  And about the eleventh hour he went out, and found others standing idle, and saith unto them, Why stand ye here all the day idle?
7  They say unto him, Because no man hath hired us. He saith unto them, Go ye also into the vineyard; and whatsoever is right, that shall ye receive.
8  So when even was come, the lord of the vineyard saith unto his steward, Call the labourers, and give them their hire, beginning from the last unto the first.

I have been on the worlds lose list! I have known defeat! I have known being last, without hope, lost, and in sin! To find hope, you must find despair! To find salvation you must find you need saving in the first place. Pride blinds us of that, lust robs us of what we have, and religion will kill us. Jesus came to bring to all, even to those who are afar off from the first time he walked this earth, salvation and knowing God! He came to bring the kingdom of heaven into our lives, hearts, and souls. To redeem man, to save them from sins, to allow them the blessings of the Father, to be delivered from the hopelessness and wickedness of the world.

1 Corinthians 1:26  For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:
27  But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;
28  And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are:
29  That no flesh should glory in his presence.
30  But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:
31  That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.

This is why, Jesus said the ‘first shall be last and the last first’. The context of this statement follows the discourse we have been talking about in Matthew. God goes to the poor, downtrodden, the sickly, the sinner, the ungodly, and anyone else first. Although in this life they are last, yet many of these are the first to respond to Gods call and accept it. They recognize the need for God and hear his voice and feel his love for them. For many it is the first time anyone or anything cared deeply about them at all. But this is also about ‘workers in the Lords vineyard’! It is about those who are called to work. It is about the chosen! God has put out a call to those who say they love him and follow him. This call is ‘chosen’, it is for those who respond and say Yes, LORD, I will go, I will do, I will walk in your ways! It is about those who will respond to the LORD and follow him, taking their cross. When they first hear the call, this is where the ‘rich young man was.’ He had a form of religion and success in the world he knew. But in the world of the Savior, this was ‘gaining the whole world’ and not God! Many today are called, they refuse, choosing to follow the worlds idea of fame, religion, and even success. Many accept the call but refuse to be chosen, that is, taking up their cross and following the Lord. These are those who save their life, and the result is they will lose it! Others accept the call, then follow the LORD by taking up their cross and following him. These are the chosen.

Matthew 16:24  ¶Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
25  For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.
26  For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
27  For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.

In going out as the ‘chosen’ some are first to go into the vineyard, and others are the last to go. In the LORD’s system and righteousness, no matter when you go, you will receive the same reward, the reward is for obedience to go and work, not in the work itself.

Matt 20:9  And when they came that were hired about the eleventh hour, they received every man a penny.
10  But when the first came, they supposed that they should have received more; and they likewise received every man a penny.
11  And when they had received it, they murmured against the goodman of the house,
12  Saying, These last have wrought but one hour, and thou hast made them equal unto us, which have borne the burden and heat of the day.
13  But he answered one of them, and said, Friend, I do thee no wrong: didst not thou agree with me for a penny?
14  Take that thine is, and go thy way: I will give unto this last, even as unto thee.
15  Is it not lawful for me to do what I will with mine own? Is thine eye evil, because I am good?
16  So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen.

This is about you and me responding to lose our life, our pride, our own self will and do as the LORD says. Not worrying about the world, its idea of success nor reward. This is for those who are not yet in the field of the LORD working. This is for those who have not responded yet to go! This is not about going to China, India, or some foreign place. This is about going to the LORD’S field and taking up the position he wants you too. It is about finding a niche to work in for the LORD, a niche that he has called you too and chosen you for. Even if your late it won’t matter the reward is the same! The obedience is paramount, for he has called, you answered! Then you have to go and do! For the LORD himself said, ‘If you love me you will keep my commandments.’ We all know about the beatitudes, the ten commandments, the fruits of the Spirit. But this one commandment is to ‘ignore your own life, don’t try to save it, give it to me and I will take care of you.’

In conclusion, the marching orders for the time we live in are found in Revelation. One verse stands out revealing the chosen for this era and age we live in. These are the ones who will take the LORD’S command and call to the limit of what he has said to do. These are exciting times and the message must get out! Time is short, the field is waiting, people are hurting, and someone has to go! Someone must love the LORD more than their own life! Someone must ignore the flesh, the pride, the call of the world and love the LORD even More. Who is that someone? Where will we find them? One things for sure, when you go, remember, “the first shall be last and the last shall be first.”

The Marching order again is found in Revelation 12 and verse 11 which says: “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.”

The verse in Revelation 12 speaks volumes to those who want to overcome at this time. A time which is definitely not for half way this or that! It is all the way! It is here that I get back to the ‘practical lesson’, a way of showing me what to understand. The LORD is with us all the time. The field is wherever you go, the work is all the time, and the rewards will not come until the end of age. Even in the simple days, times, and events such as getting my tire repaired, the LORD reminded me of the Kingdom importance. That we are always in the vineyard, at all times, and we must walk in him, be in him, for he knows us and our every thought and motive. Nothing is hid from him and he knows us. More important he knows me and all those times I am living, working, and having a life. This life is and must be in Him, pleasing HIM. For eternal principles and priorities take over when your ‘chosen’ and have decided to be ‘chosen’ by following him, losing your life, taking up your cross, and losing totally yourself in Christ Jesus. Yes, the LORD was there that day! As the morning sun shone, as the man read the paper, as the other customer came in, as the man could not find our account, and as I stood there wanting to get it all over with. The LORD was there saying, remember the ‘kingdom priorities I have called you to!’ Yes, LORD I remember! I knew immediately you spoke to me, “the first shall be last and the last first.” But you did not just speak to me that day, you gave me a 100 % practical experience in the ‘kingdom’ that day. No one heard it but me. No one saw it but me. No one knew the lesson, but me, till now. Now you too, can learn the lesson with me. “Kingdom priorities 101, the first shall be last and the last shall be first.” No matter when you go, the reward is the same. The first ones shall reap the reward of the last ones, and the last one shall reap the reward of the first ones. It is about obedience and being chosen.

Tapping the Vine

Tapping the Vine
‘Making Wine from Unrighteous Grapes’
by the Watchman Dana G Smith

Words: 3457

John 15:1  ¶I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.
2  Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.

Isaiah 44:25  That frustrateth the tokens of the liars, and maketh diviners mad; that turneth wise men backward, and maketh their knowledge foolish;

Micah 3:6  Therefore night shall be unto you, that ye shall not have a vision; and it shall be dark unto you, that ye shall not divine; and the sun shall go down over the prophets, and the day shall be dark over them.
7  Then shall the seers be ashamed, and the diviners confounded: yea, they shall all cover their lips; for there is no answer of God.

When I speak of ‘Tapping the Vine’, I refer to making wine from unrighteous grapes. That means there are Christians and whole churches who follow this practice. It simply means that they, instead of being filled with the ‘sweet Good Wine’ of the Holy Spirit, which flows from the Good Shepherd, Y’Shua, Jesus Christ himself, they look after other Gods. For some time now I have covered the trouble with seeking after prophets, soothsayers, astrologers, and others who prophecy and make predictions of what is coming. Simply put, Christians today are not fully persuaded and in fact I believe many have not been taught that there is only one fountain we should go to. This is the same fountain Israel was told to go to. The difference today is we have the ‘blood of the covenant’ fulfilled through the Messiah Jesus, Y’Shua. We also have more fuller revelation of this salvation through the LORD and the arrival of the Holy Ghost on Pentecost. All this should be enough to bring the church in America to her senses, but it is not! Add to this, many just sit there in the pews and do the religious thing and really not seek the true Vine and his nourishment. Without Him, we can do nothing. Today the sad fact is, the people in this nation and even the church, “has trusted in their wickedness and wicked ways”.

Isaiah 47:10  For thou hast trusted in thy wickedness: thou hast said, None seeth me. Thy wisdom and thy knowledge, it hath perverted thee; and thou hast said in thine heart, I am, and none else beside me.
11  Therefore shall evil come upon thee; thou shalt not know from whence it riseth: and mischief shall fall upon thee; thou shalt not be able to put it off: and desolation shall come upon thee suddenly, which thou shalt not know.
12  Stand now with thine enchantments, and with the multitude of thy sorceries, wherein thou hast laboured from thy youth; if so be thou shalt be able to profit, if so be thou mayest prevail.
13  Thou art wearied in the multitude of thy counsels. Let now the astrologers, the stargazers, the monthly prognosticators, stand up, and save thee from these things that shall come upon thee.

The Wealth and blessing of this nation has caused them to go into a ‘failsafe’ mode where we do not think. We believe that our wisdom, knowledge, knowhow, technology, doctors, flu vaccinations, drugs, and all the rest of the American experience will carry us through. Add to that is the fact we myriads of messengers, a plethora of prophets, and gobs of Gods. Many are those who also indulge themselves in the multiplicity of riot and confusion that is caused by all these voices. But least you think that all these voices are good, let me also tell you there is a time when the voices of such will not bring the safety nor deliverance to which those who seek them are looking for.

The example again is Israel who failed to follow what the LORD had told them. They were not to do those things that the nations before them did. It was because of these things the LORD God ‘doth drive them out from before thee’, scripture says. What were these nations? They were gentile! There was a continual habit, practice, and desire for those in these nations to do this. They would and did base their civilization upon this as well. They welcomed divination, astrologers, enchanters, witches, charmers, consulters with familiar spirits, wizards, and necromancer’s. When Israel started to do the same thing, they were in trouble. Not only did the LORD tell them this was an abomination, the fact that they did these things and never stopped doing them was more trouble. For this brought judgment.

Deuteronomy 18:10  There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch,
11  Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer.
12  For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee.
13  Thou shalt be perfect with the LORD thy God.
14  For these nations, which thou shalt possess, hearkened unto observers of times, and unto diviners: but as for thee, the LORD thy God hath not suffered thee so to do.

When the prophets came along like Isaiah, Jeremiah, and Ezekiel they decried this ‘harlotry’. For the people of God were not consulting their own God on matters. In fact their hearts were atuned to demons and spirits which were in rebellion against the LORD God. Isaiah even said as much to Israel on this matter saying that “evil come upon thee; thou shalt not know from whence it riseth: and mischief shall fall upon thee; thou shalt not be able to put it off: and desolation shall come upon thee suddenly, which thou shalt not know.” For all of this they were doing and all those they were seeking, It would not do any good. They could go and seek all these ‘enchantments’ and ‘sorceries’, matter of fact, Isaiah told them in no uncertain terms to do just that [see scripture above from Isaiah]. He said that the judgment will come upon you and you will not know where it came from. Mischief will fall upon the nation and you will not stop it. Then finally desolation shall hit you full scale and you will never see it coming and not be able to stop it.

In America we have intelligence agencies and many resources, plus laws since 9-11, to stop desolation in the form of terrorism and related activities. We never saw 9-11 coming and many today blame the government conspiracies for it. The truth here is, more is coming. When the final scope of judgment comes, all the intelligence, resources, soothsaying, astrologers, sorceries, and enchantments will not stop it. It is not that we are like Israel. For we are not, Israel was a Theocracy, America is or was a constitutional republic which became a democracy and is becoming worse than socialist Russia or China. When Russia steps up and accuses us of becoming socialist then there is trouble afoot. When both Russia and China seem to be more in control and freedoms seem more plenty in those nations than here, there is trouble. Yes, America still has freedoms, but daily what we had is being eroded. The fact is, judgment is here and ongoing. Nothing will stop it!

We had a caller who joined the Warn Radio program not too long ago. This person was from South America. He had inquired of what we thought of the ‘Mayan Prophecies’. Now there is no doubt that many today hold to these and also the calendar. But understand these were a bloody and warring people. Yes they had some knowledge, but where did it come? It came from the one to whom they sacrificed humans in bloody rituals. Today around the world people ignore the source of the prophecies and the method of how this people obtained the knowledge. Can they know something? Sure, even the devil and his minions know what is coming and that they will rule this world and the people for a short while. It is not a stretch to think they can pass prophecy on to seem as light. For we know even the devil can appear as an angel of light. I find only one source, the LORD God, none other. You do what you will, but as for me, I shall look unto the LORD God of my salvation. If you are just looking for a light or a voice from the other realm, then Satan will be able to fill that need. However in all this, as a believer, we must know in whom we believe, walk as he walked. We must not become caught up, overcharged, that is in the cares of this life that we forget all this. Watching and Praying always. We have been specifically told to watch!

2 Corinthians 11:14  And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

The Word is clear on this matter. The truth is, only those in the True Light of Gods Word will know what is coming and what is happening. The Day of the LORD will bring darkness and judgment, but it is a day that as believers should not catch us unaware, that is as a thief. Unless, of course we are asleep, as the foolish virgins, or maybe we have not been watching and praying as the Lord commanded us to do.

You are not in darkness, but in light, therefore walk in the light as the Lord did!

1 Thessalonians 5:4  But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that day should overtake you as a thief.
1 Thessalonians 5:5  Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.
Acts 26:18 To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.
Ephesians 5:8  For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:

Don’t become  overcharged, caught up in the cares of this life that this day catches you as a foolish virgin or one in darkness!

Luke 21:34  And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.
35  For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.
36  Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

Scripture further points out that ‘He frustrates the liars, makes diviners mad, and makes knowledge foolish’. Further it is here we must understand that as Israel sought such people, just like many in the USA does including church members, that the things they tell you are false. Although we have covered in times past how that such people can actually bring false words to pass and also give signs and wonders to confirm a word. This is what the Son of Perdition will do to convince people he is God as he sets himself up in the ‘temple of God’ as God!  There is a time though during judgment that God not only frustrates, but he even stops the heavens from telling these false ones anything. As calamity comes, the seers, diviners, false prophets, and others who cling to these methods will be ashamed and confounded. The reason is, their visions will be gone, all answers will be dark, and the false prophets will stop what they do. Again, here let it be noted, ‘There is no answer from their God’. This God, of course is not the LORD God, but Satan himself and the cohorts of deception. God the LORD will put a stop completely to this.  A note here, as people talk about the Mayan prophecies and calendar, be sure to understand their calendar stops at 2012 or there about. God’s calendar doesn’t stop at all! From this standpoint, God saw to it the Mayans could see no further than this!

Isaiah 44:25  That frustrateth the tokens of the liars, and maketh diviners mad; that turneth wise men backward, and maketh their knowledge foolish;

There was a time in Israel when the LORD God stopped all visions and divinations from certain sources.  This confirms as well what Micah says above. Below Ezekiel spoke this word to Israel when the prophets who were false prophesied contrary to the True Word of the LORD.

Ezekiel 12:23  Tell them therefore, Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will make this proverb to cease, and they shall no more use it as a proverb in Israel; but say unto them, The days are at hand, and the effect of every vision.
24  For there shall be no more any vain vision nor flattering divination within the house of Israel.
25  For I am the LORD: I will speak, and the word that I shall speak shall come to pass; it shall be no more prolonged: for in your days, O rebellious house, will I say the word, and will perform it, saith the Lord GOD.

The False prophets who spoke to Israel had been put in a deep sleep, a coma if you will. All their words and visions came from their own bosom and familiar spirits.  They then reach a point where they cannot read nor discern what is going on!

Isaiah 29:10  For the LORD hath poured out upon you the spirit of deep sleep, and hath closed your eyes: the prophets and your rulers, the seers hath he covered.
11  And the vision of all is become unto you as the words of a book that is sealed, which men deliver to one that is learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I cannot; for it is sealed:

It is here you must understand those who do not hold to these scriptural truths which are upheld in both the law [*commandments] and testimony [*testimony of Y'Shua] then these who provoke others to follow such false ones are of those who have no true light in them and are in darkness themselves!  *see Revelation 12:17!

Isaiah 8:19  And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God? for the living to the dead?
20  To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.
21  And they shall pass through it, hardly bestead and hungry: and it shall come to pass, that when they shall be hungry, they shall fret themselves, and curse their king and their God, and look upward.
22  And they shall look unto the earth; and behold trouble and darkness, dimness of anguish; and they shall be driven to darkness.

Further The LORD God judges men, he knows their hearts. He surely knew when Israel had sought after idols and he knows our hearts today. Their idols become a stumbling block of their iniquity. Yet Israel came to Him and also sought their other Gods as well. This was a way of shoring up the bet, in other words, if one failed, then they had another. But God stopped this and indeed as they sought him, having set up idols in their own heart, the LORD said “I  the LORD will answer him that cometh according to the multitude of his idols.” This applies to Prophets as well who come before the LORD with idols in his heart. If they come and be deceived when they speak a thing, then the LORD says “I the LORD have deceived that prophet”.  In both cases it says the LORD will judge him severely, ‘cutting him off in the midst of his people’, ‘destroy him from the midst of my people Israel’. Why? By doing this, then they would know that ‘I am the LORD’, says the Lord!

Ezekiel 14:3  Son of man, these men have set up their idols in their heart, and put the stumbling block of their iniquity before their face: should I be enquired of at all by them?
4  Therefore speak unto them, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Every man of the house of Israel that setteth up his idols in his heart, and putteth the stumbling block of his iniquity before his face, and cometh to the prophet; I the LORD will answer him that cometh according to the multitude of his idols;
5  That I may take the house of Israel in their own heart, because they are all estranged from me through their idols.
6  Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Repent, and turn yourselves from your idols; and turn away your faces from all your abominations.
7  For every one of the house of Israel, or of the stranger that sojourneth in Israel, which separateth himself from me, and setteth up his idols in his heart, and putteth the stumbling block of his iniquity before his face, and cometh to a prophet to enquire of him concerning me; I the LORD will answer him by myself:
8  And I will set my face against that man, and will make him a sign and a proverb, and I will cut him off from the midst of my people; and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
9  And if the prophet be deceived when he hath spoken a thing, I the LORD have deceived that prophet, and I will stretch out my hand upon him, and will destroy him from the midst of my people Israel.
10  And they shall bear the punishment of their iniquity: the punishment of the prophet shall be even as the punishment of him that seeketh unto him;

Therefore be wary and careful to whom you seek or you might receive both the delusion and the judgment! There is no doubt we are lax in this in America and our own wealth, religious traditions, and rebellion will bring Gods judgment to the LORD’S house before he judges the wicked.

I finish with some words of promise for the faithful in heart! Below are prophecies by Isaiah that see future fulfillment for those who truly Love God and do what he says!

Isaiah 35:4  Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompence; he will come and save you.
5  ¶Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped.
6  Then shall the lame man leap as an hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing: for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert.
7  And the parched ground shall become a pool, and the thirsty land springs of water: in the habitation of dragons, where each lay, shall be grass with reeds and rushes.
8  And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein.
9  No lion shall be there, nor any ravenous beast shall go up thereon, it shall not be found there; but the redeemed shall walk there:
10  And the ransomed of the LORD shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.

Revelation 12:11  And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

1 John 5:1  ¶Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.
2  By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.
3  For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.
4  For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
5  Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?

1 John 5:19  And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.
20  And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.
21  Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.
