Hosea 2:23 And I will sow her unto me in the earth; and I will have mercy upon her that had not obtained mercy; and I will say to them which were not my people, Thou art my people; and they shall say, Thou art my G-d

The Valley of Achor: meaning ‘trouble’, they would find a ‘door of hope’.

Here in Hosea we find the L-rd G-d wooing, alluring Israel. Hosea speaks to both houses, that is, Israel the Northern Kingdom and Judah itself. The Northern Kingdom had gone away from the L-rd G-d and served other gods. Meanwhile Judah did not. Although the Northern Kingdom was carried away captive, Judah did not get invaded and carried away for some time after the Northern Kingdom.

In this passage we find that the Lord would come to her [Northern kingdom, Israel, Ephraim]  and speak comfortably to her. In this we find the mention of the Valley of Achor. In the midst of her own idolatries and whoredom, G-d is giving her hope. Achor here means trouble and it was in the valley of Achor where Achan and his family were stoned for their sins.  It means trouble.

5911 [`Akowr /aw·kore/] n m. From 5916; TWOT 1621a; GK 6574; Five occurrences; AV translates as “Achor” five times. 1 trouble, disturbance. 1a Achor—as the valley of trouble where Achan and his family were stoned.

Hosea 2:14  ¶Therefore, behold, I will allure her, and bring her into the wilderness, and speak comfortably unto her.
15  And I will give her vineyards from thence, and the valley of Achor for a door of hope: and she shall sing there, as in the days of her youth, and as in the day when she came up out of the land of Egypt.
16  And it shall be at that day, saith the L-RD, that thou shalt call me Ishi; and shalt call me no more Baali.
17  For I will take away the names of Baalim out of her mouth, and they shall no more be remembered by their name.
18  And in that day will I make a covenant for them with the beasts of the field, and with the fowls of heaven, and with the creeping things of the ground: and I will break the bow and the sword and the battle out of the earth, and will make them to lie down safely.
19  And I will betroth thee unto me for ever; yea, I will betroth thee unto me in righteousness, and in judgment, and in lovingkindness, and in mercies.
20  I will even betroth thee unto me in faithfulness: and thou shalt know the L-RD.
21  And it shall come to pass in that day, I will hear, saith the L-RD, I will hear the heavens, and they shall hear the earth;
22  And the earth shall hear the corn, and the wine, and the oil; and they shall hear Jezreel.
23  And I will sow her unto me in the earth; and I will have mercy upon her that had not obtained mercy; and I will say to them which were not my people, Thou art my people; and they shall say, Thou art my G-d.

Moreover, G-d is speaking to her in her sins and says I will bring her into the wilderness as in the day when she came out of Egypt. It was then that the L-rd G-d had delivered Israel from the Egyptians. It was at the deliverance of Israel where the “Passover Lamb” was instituted as a feast and commemoration to the day of deliverance. For they applied the blood of the Lamb and followed the Paschal observance. This would follow them all their lives. It was a type and foreshadow of Jesus Christ the Passover Lamb.

Revelation 5:6  ¶And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.

Revelation 13:8  And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

Israel though as we know from scripture did not enter into the promise land the first try. For out of the 12 spies sent into the land only Caleb and Joshua brought back a good report. Therefore, the L-rd G-d led them through the wilderness for their unbelief. It was to be a place of judgment for the unbelief of those of Israel.  The L-rd G-d would bring into the promised land Caleb, Joshua, and the children of those who had murmured against the L-rd G-d.

Numbers 14:29  Your carcases shall fall in this wilderness; and all that were numbered of you, according to your whole number, from twenty years old and upward, which have murmured against me,
30  Doubtless ye shall not come into the land, concerning which I sware to make you dwell therein, save Caleb the son of Jephunneh, and Joshua the son of Nun.
31  But your little ones, which ye said should be a prey, them will I bring in, and they shall know the land which ye have despised.
32  But as for you, your carcases, they shall fall in this wilderness.
33  And your children shall wander in the wilderness forty years, and bear your whoredom’s, until your carcases be wasted in the wilderness

Thus the ‘wilderness’ experience became known as a place of ‘trial, testing, and of judgment’. Jesus spent 40 days in the wilderness during which he was tested by the devil. Israel spent 40 years in the wilderness during which the judgment of G-d was completed against those who murmured against the L-rd. But for those who obeyed, it was a time when G-d revealed himself and provided for his own. The descendants of those who murmured along with Moses, Aaron, Miriam, Caleb, and Joshua, plus any others who were not caught up in that sin enjoyed a 40 year experience with the L-rd G-d. They became students and were taught of him, fed by him, and led by him.  It is at these times during the wilderness experience that we really find out about the provision of the L-rd. These times force us to put away all distractions and learn of him. Although we do work at that during other times, it is at the wilderness where he not only proves us and tests us, he reveals himself, his love, and his provision for our needs.

Deuteronomy 8:3  And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the L-RD doth man live.
4  Thy raiment waxed not old upon thee, neither did thy foot swell, these forty years.
5  Thou shalt also consider in thine heart, that, as a man chasteneth his son, so the L-RD thy God chasteneth thee

Now this wilderness was a place where G-d humbled them, and even caused them to hunger. He was as a Father chastising his son or daughter. But in this he fed them with manna. A bread that they had never seen before. The lesson was that man does not live by ‘bread’ alone, that is by the physical things you may eat etc. Man lives, the lesson taught them, by every word that proceeds from G-ds mouth. During this even their raiment or clothes did not wear out. Their feet did not swell, even though they walked through the wilderness. In short, they learned the provision of this great G-d. The very L-rd who led them by fire at night and by cloud in the day.

Exodus 13:21  And the L-RD went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night:

The literally moved from one place to another by the word of the L-rd. They were provided for by the word of the L-rd. When the Son of G-d was in the wilderness,he left us a valuable lesson. This lesson was strong and with power when he pointedly answered the devil in one temptation saying “man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of G-d.” It is a lesson that many believers have trouble with. We don’t live by what we can do, earn, find, or manage to get by with. We literally live by “every word that comes from the mouth of G-d”. We do this, even if we do not fully recognize this fact. Even the unbeliever lives by the air they breathe, get warmed by the sun which shines, eats and gets full by the things which grow out of the earth. All these things are called into existence and held together by, “the Word of G-d”.  This is G-ds providence that will provide even for those who don’t believe in him. This is the goodness of G-d! When we enter as believers into the wilderness experience, we are then at that stage where G-d says, “okay, now you will learn what it means to “live by every word of G-d.”

Luke 4:4  And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.

John 6:51  I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.

It is noteworthy here to understand how G-d loved Israel and how much he loves the church today. He loves all men, and commands them to repent. It was G-ds love for both the Jew and the Gentile that he gave his only begotten Son, Jesus Christ to die for all men. It is G-ds love that “commands all men to repent”. He commands us to do that so we won’t face his judgment against sin and death! When men and women do respond to his call, know this, ‘he will never leave them or forsake them’. He may test them, try them, take them into the wilderness, but you can rest your faith on the solid promise, that G-d the Father deals with us as his own children. Thank G-d for that. It is that same love and G-ds mercy that we see in the message Hosea was given for Israel. Even in the midst of their sins and struggle to survive, G-d loved them enough to send a warning and a way out. He loved them, hated their sins and provided for them in the end to be re-united in his blessing, if they would only repent and seek him with all their heart!

Hosea 2: 16  And it shall be at that day, saith the L-RD, that thou shalt call me Ishi; and shalt call me no more Baali.
17  For I will take away the names of Baalim out of her mouth, and they shall no more be remembered by their name.

In the verses above we find Hosea saying prophetically Israel would call the L-rd “Ishi”. “Ishi” means my husband. It is a prophecy that G-d would again take Israel as his own. She would no longer call the L-rd “Baali”, which means my master! In other words, Israel would not serve him as a slave to her master. She would not be a harlot to other gods. They would put away the names of the Baal’s from her mouth and the Northern Kingdom would no longer remember them. Instead, she would come to love the L-rd, follow him, and with her heart fall in love with their G-d, as they once had done in the beginning. It would be a relationship of ‘husband and wife’, a union between the G-d who loves them and now the redeemed people who had come to love this G-d. This union is a type of Christ and the church. Baal’s, here means lord. It refers to the chief male divinity of the Phoenicians or Canaanite’s. In short, they would put away all idols and other gods to serve the living and true L-rd G-d. It is the same thing the L-rd says to the church today.  He will take away the names of the idols and gods you are serving and they shall no more be remembered. He shall take you into the wilderness. It is put this way by Peter ‘judgment must begin at the house of G-d’.

1 Peter 4:17  For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of G-d: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of G-d?

Hosea goes even further in this and actually relates what is the truth of the ‘millennial reign of Christ’.  These will be a people who will be wed to the L-rd forever. Hosea says the L-RD will ‘betroth thee unto me in righteousness, in judgment, in lovingness, and in mercies.’

Hosea 2:18  And in that day will I make a covenant for them with the beasts of the field, and with the fowls of heaven, and with the creeping things of the ground: and I will break the bow and the sword and the battle out of the earth, and will make them to lie down safely.
19  And I will betroth thee unto me for ever; yea, I will betroth thee unto me in righteousness, and in judgment, and in lovingkindness, and in mercies.
20  I will even betroth thee unto me in faithfulness: and thou shalt know the L-RD.
21  And it shall come to pass in that day, I will hear, saith the L-RD, I will hear the heavens, and they shall hear the earth;

When speaking of ‘mercies’, it was prophesied by Isaiah in chapter 55 and verse 3. With it is a plea to “Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.” This same scripture is quoted in Acts chapter 13 and verse 34 saying “And as concerning that he raised him up from the dead, now no more to return to corruption, he said on this wise, I will give you the sure mercies of David.”

This is a place prepared for those who have responded to the call of G-d, and have accepted and believed on the ‘sure mercies of David’. Paul was the one giving the sermon on the ‘sure mercies of David’ that day and before he mentioned these mercies he told the listeners that “we declare unto you the glad tidings”. This was the promise made to the fathers. He goes on to say that G-d hath “raised up Jesus again; as it is also written in the second psalm, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee.”

Acts 13:32  And we declare unto you glad tidings, how that the promise which was made unto the fathers,
33  G-d hath fulfilled the same unto us their children, in that he hath raised up Jesus again; as it is also written in the second psalm, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee.

Paul started out this whole sermon by giving them the history lesson of what had occurred not too long ago in Jerusalem. In this he speaks of the David the son of Jesse of whom G-d raised up of his seed unto Israel a Savior, Jesus. The sermon then goes on to explain what occurred, that was his death, and then the fact that G-d raised him from the dead. That this fact was witnessed by many people over many days became proven and Paul told them flatly about it.

Acts 13:22  And when he had removed him, he raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also he gave testimony, and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfil all my will

Acts 13:23  Of this man’s seed hath God according to his promise raised unto Israel a Saviour, Jesus:
24  When John had first preached before his coming the baptism of repentance to all the people of Israel.
25  And as John fulfilled his course, he said, Whom think ye that I am? I am not he. But, behold, there cometh one after me, whose shoes of his feet I am not worthy to loose.
26  Men and brethren, children of the stock of Abraham, and whosoever among you feareth God, to you is the word of this salvation sent.
27  For they that dwell at Jerusalem, and their rulers, because they knew him not, nor yet the voices of the prophets which are read every sabbath day, they have fulfilled them in condemning him.
28  And though they found no cause of death in him, yet desired they Pilate that he should be slain.
29  And when they had fulfilled all that was written of him, they took him down from the tree, and laid him in a sepulchre.
30  But God raised him from the dead:
31  And he was seen many days of them which came up with him from Galilee to Jerusalem, who are his witnesses unto the people.

Although Hosea speaks to Israel during a time of idolatry and whoredom, it speaks to us today. For in this book by this prophet we find a G-d who in spite of the sins of Israel still loved them and thus worked to bring them to himself. Even so today, when it looks like the church and the world have gone into darkness, there still awaits a G-d, who like during the time of Hosea and the Northern Kingdom says, through the Valley of Achor [trouble], you shall find hope.  This G-d will move to bring her into this valley, which is actually a place of hope. It is a place of judgment yes, but of relationship to this G-d and our Father through Jesus Christ. It is a place where we will find a covenant of hope and a place of nurture amidst the wilderness of the end times.

But this wilderness will require faith, hope, and love for this G-d, who through his Son has provided for us, salvation and deliverance in his name.  It is a place where in faithfulness we shall know the L-RD. Hosea says of this prophetically, “I will hear” saith the L-RD, “I will hear the heavens and they shall hear the earth; and the earth shall hear the corn, and wine, and the oil; and they shall hear Jezreel.” Here Jezreel means ‘G-d Sows’. It will be time of refreshing, replenishing, and restoration. It will be sown in the earth, and here this G-d will have mercy on her that has not obtained mercy, and to them which were not my people, thou art my people, and they shall say, thou art my G-d. This speaks of those who were alienated from their G-d, separated and without hope or mercy. People who were not his people, but now they would be his people. People who now could say, you are my L-RD and my G-d.  It is the L-rd who sowed his ‘only begotten Son’ so that through his death, those who believe in him may live! It is the Son who gave his life, sowing his life in death so you may be raised from the dead as he was.

Hosea 2: 20  I will even betroth thee unto me in faithfulness: and thou shalt know the L-RD.
21  And it shall come to pass in that day, I will hear, saith the L-RD, I will hear the heavens, and they shall hear the earth;

I could write a lot on these verses, especially in relation to the fullness and the types. Corn is abundance, the abundance of the millennium and the kingdom of G-d. The wine is the new wine, the type of the blood of Christ shed for our sins.  The Oil is the Holy Spirit which was given to us. It represents as well the true fullness of the Holy Spirit we shall personally experience in the millennial reign of Christ. It is true we will be like him, for we shall see him as he is.  Abundance, growth, joy, and the new age, will be so great, that you will be able to hear the blessing of G-d causing everything to be renewed and in its fullness there will be no curse. For the former things are passed away. Can you say, Hallelujah and Praise G-d for this, our future?

1 John 3:2  Beloved, now are we the sons of G-d, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

Revelation 21:4  And G-d shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away

Revelation 11:15  And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our L-rd, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.

In the Valley of Achor, or trouble, there is:

The Door of HOPE!

Jesus Said, “I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved and go in and out and find pasture”

John 10:7  Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep.
8  All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them.
9  I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.
10  The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
11  I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.
12  But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep.
13  The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep.
14  I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.
15  As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.
16  And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.
17  Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.

Prepare your hearts, keep the faith, and ready thyself for the times ahead!

“Preparing for and Hasting unto the Day of God”

“A very personal, heartfelt word of what is coming, what is going on, and related matters. One of the most revealing letters to date, in which, I have written”

Revelation 21:6  And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. 7  He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

Revelation 21:6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. 7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

Deception, Delusion and Abuse is the title not only of this newsletter but it is the title of a news article on Fox Business. It is ironic, I find that a top business reporting station like Fox finds such things today. Fox in its article speaks of ‘democratic capitalism’ being in demise, an ‘eclipse’ they call it. They speak of a picture of those in charge of governments “destroying a system that took mankind from dark feudal superstitions to cracking the secrets of life.” All being destroyed they say by “deceptions, delusions, and abuse.”

Democratic capitalism is in eclipse.

From Berlin to Tokyo, governments struggle to instigate enough growth to pay their bills and gainfully employ workers, while China enjoys breakneck progress.

Democratic capitalism is not flawed. Rather, government policymakers are destroying a system that took mankind from dark feudal superstitions to cracking the secrets of life with deceptions, delusions and abuse.[source-Fox Business, Deceptions, Delusions, and Abuse]

It is said the world is in darkness and it is, but in that darkness, the children of the world are still smarter than the children of light, i.e. in certain things. In the parable of the ‘unjust steward’ Jesus says that the ‘children of this world are in their generation wiser than the children of light’. But the moral of the story Jesus gave is that if a person is ‘unfaithful in unrighteous mammon, how can you be trusted with the true riches?” In this, he spoke directly to the covetous Pharisees who he said “ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God”. Here is the delusion that is in America and the world. We have up till now justified ourselves, our churches, our walk with the Lord, and have sought to be accepted in the flesh. To look good, sound good, be rich, in need of nothing, in short; to be accepted of men and nations. Now I know not all are like this, but today I see this ‘deception, delusion, and abuse’ of that which is called the church more so than at anytime I know of.

Luke 16:14  And the Pharisees also, who were covetous, heard all these things: and they derided him.
15  And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God.

At no other time in church, world, and prophetic history is it so detrimental to survival as to find out the truth! What truth you ask? The truth of what is coming? How and who will be delivered? What will happen to the church if things don’t go as they had planned? It will be so ironic the nation that send countless multitudes of missionaries, preachers, evangelists, and money into the world for the sake of our LORD Jesus Christ will be found lacking on the day of judgment! It is so sad that people in many nations today where Christianity flourished are now breeding grounds for religions other than those who walk in the faith of the early church and the Apostles. Today as no other all the grounds of faith, belief, prophecy, foundations, denominations, and even the very ground you stand on are being shaken. The God in Heaven and I mean the True God our Father, Jehovah and his Son Jesus [Yeshua] Christ [Messiach] are working to bring in a kingdom. This kingdom is unlike any other. It will be brought in and the deceptions of the old kingdoms will be destroyed. The delusions of the old way of life will be brought into the reality of the Son of God, the Alpha and the Omega and his Light! The abuse of church goers at the hands of ‘unjust stewards’ and ‘perverts’ will be erased by the LORD of the church. The one vital truth today is that Jesus Christ, is the Passover Lamb sacrificed for the sins of mankind. Many of us in this world have come to this saving knowledge, thereby being quickened by His Spirit. We, who were once, ‘dead in trespass and sins’, ‘walking according to the prince of the power of the air’, did so in disobedience to the LORD. But today, through Yeshua, we by Gods mercy have found his ‘great love wherewith he loved us’ and although we ‘were dead in sins’, our God, through his Son Jesus Christ, ‘hath quickened us together with Christ, for by Grace are you saved). It is in Christ Jesus that we are united and it is this that will get us through what is coming! We are in the beginning of what the Jews call “Jacobs trouble”, and what Jesus said would be “a Snare that is come upon the whole world”.

Ephesians 2:1  ¶And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;
2  Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:
3  Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.
4  ¶But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
5  Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
6  And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
7  That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
8  For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

It is time to gather the remnant of believers. I know all around the globe and especially in America I get letters from many who belong to this gathering or that group of remnant people. The tribe of Ephraim, called so and from the line of Joseph or called the stick of Ephraim will be joined with the stick of Judah. This will make up what is Israel in the last days. Now I call myself Ephraim for various reasons. I know my physical roots better than most, thanks to my forefathers, one of whom was an atheist. But my Grandmother, my dad, my mother were believers in the Lord as I am. I simply do not like being called a Gentile. Gentile is from the greek word ‘ethnos’, and means ‘heathen’, ‘nation’, and is related to the idea of the people other than the Jews who knew God. In the Old testament it referred to the foreign nations other than Israel who worshipped idols and were pagans, not worshipping the true God Jehovah. In the Old testament, Gentile is strongs 1471, goy which refers to “nation, people, heathen”. It has overtones of territorial or governmental unity and or identity. Out of this has come ‘goyim’. As Vine writes, explaining the ‘goyim is a derogatory name for the heathen’.

Goy is sometimes almost a derogatory name for non-Israelite groups, or the “heathen”: “And I will scatter you among the heathen, and will draw out a sword …” (Lev. 26:33). This negative connotation is not always present, however, when the word is used of the heathen: “For from the top of the rocks I see him, and from the hills I behold him: lo, the people shall dwell alone, and shall not be reckoned among the nations” (Num. 23:9).

Certainly in contexts dealing with worship the goyim are the nonIsraelites: “They feared the Lord, and served their own gods, after the manner of the nations whom they carried away from thence” (2 Kings 17:33). In passages such as Deut. 4:38 goyim specifically describes the early inhabitants of Canaan prior to the Israelite conquest. Israel was to keep herself apart from and distinct from the “heathen” (Deut. 7:1) and was an example of true godliness before them (Deut. 4:6). On the other hand, as a blessing to all the nations (Gen. 12:2) and as a holy “nation” and kingdom of priests (Exod. 19:6), Israel was to be the means by which salvation was declared to the nations (heathen) and they came to recognize God’s sovereignty (Isa. 60). So the Messiah is the light of the nations (Isa. 49:6).

The Gentiles were seen as unbelievers and unclean. Now I am neither unclean nor an unbeliever, today through Christ by faith, I am grafted into the line of Abraham and his son. I believe and through Jesus Christ am made clean. Thank God for that. By the way, not me only, but all the former ‘heathen or goyim’ are through Christ Jesus made clean.

Romans 4:13  For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith. Abraham, then is the father of us all and we are blessed with faithful Abraham.

Romans 4:16  Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all,

Galatians 3:7  Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham.

Galatians 3:8  And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed.

Galatians 3:9  So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.

Galatians 3:14  That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

Now there are certain people, of this I speak of Prophet Tom Deckard, who is an international Jewish prophet. It is he, whom, the Lord is using to gather Ephraim. He intends to take them to Israel at the proper time. Now I have spent much time learning and seeing what he teaches. I have not nor will speak ill of him nor of those who follow his ministry. I am, though, in the end one who seeks the LORD and call myself Ephraim, yet I cannot just up and leave those to whom I minister to! It is here that I must follow the leading of the LORD. I have talked to them about this, for a few minutes and came out of that with this knowledge. To get to Israel as Ephraim, God has chosen Prophet Tom Deckard. God is using him to teach Ephraim how to survive and live in these last days. It is through his ministry that you can find him leading Ephraim out of America to Israel. This is pointedly what he says and I believe what he says.

However, I cannot simply drop all I am doing to do that. I have people to whom I feel responsible to and I would be a ‘hireling’ to just up and leave! I have known what is coming to this nation since the 70′s. I have been warning for many years now, and will by Gods grace continue until I can do it no more! I am making ready to stay in America, leave if I can, but face death, persecution, or whatever. I am preparing to be the remnant in America, the martyr, the delivered, or whatever the Lord has for me here. I do not love death or martyrdom, but I will do as scripture says I must. This is to Overcome, I do so ‘by the blood of the Lamb’, this is being born again of his spirit, receiving him as in John 1, keeping his commandments as he says to do, and continuing in his word as he tells us. If by doing this, I die, so be it. Live or die, I am the LORDS.

I stand by faith and I also know by faith, that the LORD will bring all those through who trust in him. But be warned, many will die, many will face judgments, many will seem lost and without direction. The Lord is coming for his own, but not before this will occur. I do not debate this, I know this! So, my friends, I do not plan to go with Prophet Deckard, at this time, that is unless the LORD opens the way and reveals to me the answers to some scriptural questions I have. Until then, I will prepare a remnant to live or to die, but to do both in the Lord, by faith!

Revelation 12:11  And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

Revelation 15:5  ¶And after that I looked, and, behold, the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened:

Revelation 19:10  And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellow servant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

I cover this today because the abuse, deception, and delusion in the church and America is rampant. I tell you about Prophet Tom to let you know God has provided a way to escape through his anointed Prophet. Therefore, I suggest you go to listen of this Prophet. Then pray, fast and make your own decision. There are others out there who may tell you the same thing. I have found one that I know of, the signs that follow his ministry are nowhere else to be found, if they are, tell Prophet Tom, not me. I cannot go unless the LORD gives me lead and answers to do so. I have prepared to meet this head on since the 70′s. It was not until I met Prophet Tom that I found a Hope that maybe I could go. But it is not to be. I have responsibilities and those to whom I must help, encourage, and minister too! A hireling would flee, I will not! If I do, they must come with me! Tower and I have always prepared ourselves to be here when this came to help those here. To pull those out of the ‘fire’. To pull out of this ‘fire’ as many as we can, to the glory of the Lord.

Jude 1:23  And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.
24  Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,
25  To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.

But as we do this, we trust God to deliver us from wicked men and from his judgments which will find this nation. We are warned to get out in Revelation 18, but we would stay just the same to help. We will be listening close to the LORD, fasting, and praying.

Prophet Tom told me long ago about the Rapture. He said he prayed to the LORD that if there was going to be a Rapture to leave him here so he could help Israel. I am compelled and say the same thing about what faces us, “if there is going to be deliverance to Israel for Ephraim, yes I would like to go with my family and those who would go, but I am ready to stay here to help those that remain in this hour of need.”

Now as you read this, I have opened my heart. I will not debate with you about your denominational beliefs, doctrines, i.e. Rapture, or anything else. You believe what you want, for I tell you, the LORD will bring this Day of the Watchman soon to America, then to the world!

John 10:12  But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep.
John 10:13  The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep.

As you listen to the Watchman on Warn Radio, I pray you realize that this is what we are about, i.e this ministry, and our family! We will continue to work until night, then no man will be able to work. We will work faithfully, by Gods grace! We will take by Gods grace what he sends! But we will be in faith, keeping his word, his commandments, fasting, and praying as we Go!

This is not about the man called the Watchman! Nor about the Prophet of whom I spoke. It is not about the family behind the man, nor the wife! It is not about the web sites! It is not about pride, flesh, or anything related, God Forbid. It is about a deep call that far exceeds anything that anyone could speak to me about. It is about something I have known since a young man. It is about real visions, a real call, and a destiny that I do not yet know what the details will be. But I know this, the LORD called me long before this ministry or any contacts I had through it. It is the LORD who knew me before I was in my mothers womb[he also knew you]. It is about me, you, and all who find themselves in the ‘Deception, Delusion, and abuse’ of the Last Days.

Luke 9:23  And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.
24  For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.
25  For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away?
26  For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father’s, and of the holy angels.

Mark 8:35  For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel’s, the same shall save it.
36  For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?
37  Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
38  Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels

In conclusion, my friends, Seek the LORD, fast, pray, and get in his word. Let his peace find you today. Do not let this newsletter depress you! This a heartfelt one to you. Now some may use this against me, God reward them for this. But We are readying a team of Ephraim, remnant, believers, or whatever you call yourself to be ones who will stand and having done all to stand, yet we will still stand by faith in Christ! We will do this in America, Australia, or Europe, or even in Israel if God so allows and directs. But we will do it together!

Revelation 12:17  And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

Revelation 13:10  He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.

Revelation 14:12  Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

I so long to see the LORD and say, “this is our God, we have waited for him, and he will save us, this is the LORD, we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation”

Isaiah 25:8  He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken it.
9  ¶And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the LORD; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.

May the LORD God, whom we serve, through Jesus Christ our Savior, bless and keep you all.

How Shall Israel Believe

How Shall Israel Believe?
By the Watchman Dana G Smith

“Speaking of the end times, Israel, the believers, being united in one in Christ, this article speaks to the saving of Israel, and the time of the end. It cannot cover all prophetic events that will occur. This is only an overview of Israel, Ephraim, Believers, and the scriptures describing these times. It is just a beginning for you to take the task of studying further.”

Here where we live snow is moving in around us, Halloween is here, winter is almost here, leaves are on the ground with some still in trees. The fall harvest is gone and the feasts over. Soon we will gather up all the leaves and put them in a pile for destruction.
All the above are signs of the changing seasons, so too, Signs are all around us at the ‘changing times’ which are here. The time line of the LORD continues and for his glory alone do nations and peoples exist.
Thus, the ‘Moral Standards’ of the LORD God for all men, nations, and peoples have been issued since the beginning of time and the creation of man. Soon, these ‘moral standards’ will be there amidst the sons of men and they will be summoned to the Throne of Judgment at the Last Time.
But these standards are those decree’s of The LORD that govern nations and men. At some point they may violate what God allows and thus his judgment falls upon them.

Be certain, nations will be judged
Be certain, people will be judged
Be certain, the church will be judged

Thus we have concluded that all under sin and must agree with scripture which sayeth:

Romans 3:9  What then? are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin;

It is this which we believe to the ‘saving of the soul’ found in Hebrews chapter ten and verse thirty-nine which we do hold to. It is why our Father, sent his son, Jesus Christ, that is, to save the world. For by ‘wisdom the world knew not God’ 1Cor 1:21 and it is that which we labor, to bring those who think they know truth and wisdom, but don’t, the real truth.
The Apostle Paul lets us in on wisdom concerning this. In order to believe in the Messiah Yeshua, Jesus Christ the Jews require a sign. When you go to a Jew, a supernatural sign is what would convince them. The Gentiles or Greeks, however, require wisdom. A person can work to prove with scripture and historical facts the authenticity of Christ Jesus. Thus they would believe. Of course in this, there are those who will not believe no matter what. Add to that that some of either persuasion may feel led to require more to believe.

1 Corinthians 1:22  For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom:

But in this we can be certain, in order for them to believe, they have to hear, and in order for them to hear, they must hear it from someone, and in order for that to occur, that someone must be sent.

Romans 10:11  For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
12  ¶For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
13  For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
14  How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
15  And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
16  But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?
17  So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

This is where we come to Israel of the last days and end times. In Daniel it says that ‘Michael’ will stand up for the ‘children of thy people’ and there ‘shall be a time of trouble such as never was since there was a nation’. This is the time when ‘Jacobs Trouble’ is in full swing. The land of Israel is facing many enemies. Jerusalem is surrounded and all nations are gathered. There is much here prophetically, but there will be a time when ‘Michael’ the Archangel of God will stand up to protect his people. This is where Mark says “except the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elects sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days.” I believe these two scriptures point to the same time in Israel.

Mark 13:20  And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect’s sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days

.
It also says “at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.”

Daniel 12:1  ¶And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.

Malachi talks about the children of Israel and the proud of the people who have been ‘stout’ against the LORD. They were proud and happy, working wickedness and did not think judgment would befall them, and even tempted God and thought this would not bring judgment. It is here that Malachi also records those who truly ‘feared the LORD’ and ‘spake often one to another’, it was to these the ‘LORD hearkened’ and ‘heard it’, and thus a book of ‘rememberance’ was written before him for ‘them that feared the LORD and that thought upon his name’. This is one reference to the book of remembrance, according to JFB, means; for them, for their advantage, against the day when those found faithful among the faithless shall receive their final reward. Calvin responds to this as “those makes the fearers of God to be those awakened from among the ungodly mass (before described) to true repentance; the writing of the book thus will imply that some were reclaimable among the blasphemers, and that the godly should be assured that, though no hope appeared, there would be a door of penitence opened for them before God.”

Malachi 3:13  ¶Your words have been stout against me, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, What have we spoken so much against thee?
14  Ye have said, It is vain to serve God: and what profit is it that we have kept his ordinance, and that we have walked mournfully before the LORD of hosts?
15  And now we call the proud happy; yea, they that work wickedness are set up; yea, they that tempt God are even delivered.
16  Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name.

But looking at Daniel again where ‘Michael’ stands up for his people who are written in book, this takes place in the future, during ‘Jacobs trouble’, the great tribulation and for that context, the ‘book’ would be the ‘book of life’.

Revelation 20:12  And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works

.
It is before this time, however, that Israel who does not believe and has rejected the Messiah must come to believe. It is also here that I believe God is re-gathering all Israel, including Ephraim, the Northern tribes. These have been scattered in all nations and the Lord is gathering them to unite them in one in Israel. Ephraim, for his ‘seed shall become a multitude of nations’. In this gathering will come people from all over the earth, of the nations, who believe.

Gen 48:19  And his father refused, and said, I know it, my son, I know it: he also shall become a people, and he also shall be great: but truly his younger brother shall be greater than he, and his seed shall become a multitude of nations.

These people are Ephraim, who keep the commandments of God and the Faith and testimony of Yeshua.

Revelation 12:17  And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
Revelation 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

But it is these believers, Ephraim, who follow the LORD, in power according to Daniel, who will do ‘exploits’. Why? Because “the people that do know their God.” They will instruct many, bringing many to Christ in Israel by signs and wonders. This will convince the Jews, who will also see them keeping Gods commandments, and working in ‘signs and wonders’ in all holiness and dedication to the LORD. They will provide testimony and walk in the faith of Jesus Christ, just as the early church did. Along with that, many also will fall, by sword, by flame, by captivity, and by spoil, for many days. They shall fall to try them, to purge them, and to make them white, even to the end!

Daniel 11:32  And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.
33  And they that understand among the people shall instruct many: yet they shall fall by the sword, and by flame, by captivity, and by spoil, many days.
34  Now when they shall fall, they shall be holpen with a little help: but many shall cleave to them with flatteries.
35  And some of them of understanding shall fall, to try them, and to purge, and to make them white, even to the end.

Thus we will see come out of Israel believers, Jews who did not formerly believe in Jesus Christ, Yeshua Ha Massiach. Then the word of God will be fulfilled in Ezekiel, which says, “Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his fellows, and will put them with him, even with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one in mine hand.”

Ezekiel 37:19  Say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his fellows, and will put them with him, even with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one in mine hand.

In Revelation we see the sealing of the Tribes of Israel. But further on we read of a great ‘multitude which no man could number’. All of whom “came out of great tribulation”.

Revelation 7:9  After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;
10  And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.
11  And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God,
12  Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen.
13  ¶And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?
14  And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

These words “great tribulation” are also found in the end time discourse given by Jesus in Matthew 24. It says of that time, before the end:

Matthew 24:21  For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be

It is during the biggest upheaval in human history, that the LORD God will bring in multitudes of souls into his Kingdom. In the great tribulation, however, don’t get this mixed up with the ‘wrath of God’, that occurs after ‘war against the saints’ and Israel. The Destroyer will make war against both up and until the second coming. There will be only one group sealed and protected during that time, those who keep Gods commandments and the testimony of Yeshua.

Revelation 7:3  Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.

To all the saints it is also written how those living during that period overcame:
Revelation 12:11  And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

Revelation 20:4  And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

They Overcame by:
-by the blood of the Lamb
-by the word of their testimony
-loved not their lives unto the death
They were beheaded for:
-the witness of Jesus
-the word of God
-not worshipped the beast
-not worshipped his image
-neither received his mark upon their foreheads or in their hands

THEY LIVED
THEY REIGNED
With CHRIST A THOUSAND YEARS!

God is HOLY, Blessed be his Name Forever, For he alone, the LORD God, belongs glory and honor and to His Son, Jesus Christ, who is blessed forevermore, blessed be he who comes in the name of the LORD.

Hosea 9:8 the watchman of Ephraim was with my God: but the prophet is a snare of a fowler in all his ways, and hatred in the house of his God

Modern day Jerusalem

For The Spirit has said to me:
“See the vision Son of Man”
See it and understand.
Through the Word do I create.
Out of nothingness, before time was,
There I existed.
It is I, The LORD.
I create that which was not and yet is.
I plant visions with my Word.
I bring my Word to pass.
I call the end from the beginning.
I ask you Son of man,
Is there anything to hard for me?

For out of Ephraim shall be a people,
Out of Jacob shall come my chosen,
Out of nations will I bring forth,
Yea, those saved from among the people.
Listen O earth and hear,
I AM is thy Established ONE.
I shall never be moved!
It is my will that shall be done,
Yea, in the earth saith the LORD.
Behold the Sun…
See the Moon…
Observe the stars…
But know I created them all.

Listen O Earth, hear the LORD.
Listen O people hearken to the Spirit.
Understand all ye nations,
For the Son, Yeshua shall arise,
Yea from His place, He is coming,
He will establish justice,
Out of those things which now are,
Shall He create Righteousness.
A kingdom that shall never be moved!

Be wise O Men…
Be wise O Earth…
For the LORD, strong and mighty,
Yea He rises even now,
It is He, the HOLY ONE of Yisrael,
He cometh to judge the earth,
To establish His kingdom.
He will trample the enemies of God.
He will raise up the meek ones.
He will heal the broken hearted,
Yea, those who have honored his name,
Those who have known the way of truth,
Those who did accept the love of truth,
Yeshua, The Massiach, Yea he cometh.
Ephraim shall be healed,
Judah shall be brought again,
Yea, unto myself shall I heal thee,
Saith the LORD.

Awaken my people,
Seek thy God while it is day,
For thy God cometh,
It is he who will establish
Judgment, Justice, and Righteousness in the earth.
Yea, be wise,
Seek Ye the LORD!

Blessed be thee, O GOD, my LORD, even forever,
Blessed be thy Name,
Even so come quickly,
LORD Yeshua

Through The Valley of Achor Enter the Door of Hope

A Psalm by the Watchman

Dana G Smith

Hosea 9:8 the watchman of Ephraim was with my God: but the prophet is a snare of a fowler in all his ways, and hatred in the house of his God.

Repent and seek Lord

Leanness, My leanness,

It shall come,

As with the Priest,

So with the Prophet,

And with the People,

There shall be leanness,

Fatness shall be removed from the land.

They shall ask on that day,

"What shall we eat?"

"Where are the delacies?"

For the Lord shall remove them!

As it is written,

"I hewed them by the prophets;

I have slain them by the words of my mouth:

And thy judgments are as the light that goeth forth."

For the Land is 'Joined Idols,

The people are possessed with the 'spirit of harlotry',

They have begotten 'Pagan Children', a generation

That does not know me, saith the Lord.

For a strange woman has embraced you,

With the kiss of a seducer,

She lures you even now.

Behold her bed is a pit of coals,

Her embrace a pot of fire,

Her aroma is of death.

Yet, you watch as she dances,

You hunger for her as she moves,

Your eyes are full of idolatry,

Your heart is full of desire.

Awaken oh Perverse Ones,

Flee this strange woman,

This Harlot who seduces you,

With the wine of your desire.

You have raised up 'Pagan Children',

With her you begat perverse ways,

O perverse nation,

You have nourished the day for slaughter.

Where will you go?

Who will give you safety from my hand,

On the day I rise to judge you?

For I have seen your iniquity.

I will punish your sins.

But there you will be found,

Yea, in safety, if you repent.

Turn from your idols.

Flee from your reckless ways,

Turn to righteousness,

Flee iniquity,

Come to the Lord,

That you might be saved.

For I will purge your sins,

I will remove your iniquity,

I will bring you unto myself,

I will heal your rebellious ways,

And restore you unto myself,

That where I AM,

There you may be also.

Found in the Lord thy God,

Dressed in His Righteousness.

Therefore, awaken Oh Child,

Be stirred to Repent,

For the children of night,

Yea they will be destroyed,

But the children of righteousness,

They shall be found blameless,

For it is written:

Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of the earth,

Which have wrought his judgment;

Seek righteousness, seek meekness:

it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the LORD'S anger. Zeph 2:3

And Again:

Sow to yourselves in righteousness,

Reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground:

For it is time to seek the LORD,

Till he come and rain righteousness upon you. Hosea 10:12

Jeremiah 6:10 To whom shall I speak, and give warning, that they may hear? behold, their ear is uncircumcised, and they cannot hearken: behold, the word of the LORD is unto them a reproach; they have no delight in it.
11 Therefore I am full of the fury of the LORD; I am weary with holding in: I will pour it out upon the children abroad, and upon the assembly of young men together: for even the husband with the wife shall be taken, the aged with him that is full of days.
12 And their houses shall be turned unto others, with their fields and wives together: for I will stretch out my hand upon the inhabitants of the land, saith the LORD.
13 For from the least of them even unto the greatest of them every one is given to covetousness; and from the prophet even unto the priest every one dealeth falsely.
14 They have healed also the hurt of the daughter of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace; when there is no peace.
15 Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? nay, they were not at all ashamed, neither could they blush: therefore they shall fall among them that fall: at the time that I visit them they shall be cast down, saith the LORD.
16 Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein.
17 Also I set watchmen over you, saying, Hearken to the sound of the trumpet. But they said, We will not hearken.

Ezekiel 33:2 Son of man, speak to the children of thy people, and say unto them, When I bring the sword upon a land, if the people of the land take a man of their coasts, and set him for their watchman: 3 If when he seeth the sword come upon the land, he blow the trumpet, and warn the people; 4 Then whosoever heareth the sound of the trumpet, and taketh not warning; if the sword come, and take him away, his blood shall be upon his own head. 5 He heard the sound of the trumpet, and took not warning; his blood shall be upon him. But he that taketh warning shall deliver his soul. 6 But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand.

Jeremiah 7:9 Will ye steal, murder, and commit adultery, and swear falsely, and burn incense unto Baal, and walk after other gods whom ye know not; 10 And come and stand before me in this house, which is called by my name, and say, We are delivered to do all these abominations? 11 Is this house, which is called by my name, become a den of robbers in your eyes? Behold, even I have seen it, saith the LORD. 12 But go ye now unto my place which was in Shiloh, where I set my name at the first, and see what I did to it for the wickedness of my people Israel. 13 And now, because ye have done all these works, saith the LORD, and I spake unto you, rising up early and speaking, but ye heard not; and I called you, but ye answered not; 14 Therefore will I do unto this house, which is called by my name, wherein ye trust, and unto the place which I gave to you and to your fathers, as I have done to Shiloh. 15 And I will cast you out of my sight, as I have cast out all your brethren, even the whole seed of Ephraim. 16 ¶Therefore pray not thou for this people, neither lift up cry nor prayer for them, neither make intercession to me: for I will not hear thee.
