This Show on Blip.Tv ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The Fountain Within-Fear of God out of the fear of God, comes our obedience to the will of the LORD, desiring to be obedient, for we know, he judges all men with equality. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ There are two issues that drive this! 1. The first is how well do you keep the fear of the LORD in your heart? 2. The second is how well do you seek to walk in the Spirit? Both of the above two questions are subject to and judged by the fact of your ‘fear’ of God! Do you really believe that he as the Father will judge you! Do you really believe that God will judge Christians! Do you believe and understand that God calls you to not only say with your lips you believe but to walk in it! There is no such thing as a carnal Christian. This is an invention of American and most European churches today. There are those who are ‘followers’ and his ‘sons and daughters’ or remnant, then there is the ‘disobedient’! The question is, which one are you! In Scripture the words ‘Fear Lord’, garner 339 hits in 153 verses! What did Paul say and know about the Fear of the LORD! 1 Peter 3:15  But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear: reason of the hope with meekness and fear- meekness: Rather it is an inwrought grace of the soul; and the exercises of it are first and chiefly towards God. It is that temper of spirit in which we accept His dealings with us as good, and therefore without disputing or resisting; it is closely linked with the word tapeinophrosune [humility], and follows directly upon it, Eph. 4:2; Col. 3:12; cf. the adjectives in the Sept. of Zeph. 3:12, “meek and lowly”; … it is only the humble heart which is also the meek, and which, as such, does not fight against God and more or less struggle and contend with Him. For many of us close to this arena of Christendom in America the success is seen in church growth; i.e. big churches, glitzy campaigns for growth, pastors that act more like corporate heads than shepherds, and the issue of money is always close at hand. For many the relationship to church growth, success, and material things are usually interconnected. We have accepted the idea as did the Pharisee’s and scribes that material blessings means Gods blessing. This is not always not the case. We have co-opted Gods material provision into a full blown doctrine where we seek the docrtine of provision and wealth above what the Lord spoke to us to do. That is, "seek first the kingdom of God and its righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you." Howbeit, the stereo typical experience of Christianity today is one that would of been foreign to the early “church and the Apostles”. Related posts:

Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Hebrews 8:10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people: 1 Peter 1:13 ¶Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;

There is no doubt today that the believer that does conform to the world will be an unbeliever, a lukewarm Laodacian Christian, or even an unbeliever in time. The world seeks to bring the believer far from the roots that should hold him or her. It's [by this I mean the world, the devil, demons, spirits, and the flesh of man itself] attacks basically come in three areas of life: 'lust of the flesh', 'lust of the eyes', and 'pride of life'. The enemy of our soul attacks our biblical roots which are grounded in the Word of God, Prayer, and a life of leading and nurturing by the Spirit of God. In this life as believers in Y'Shua [Jesus], belief and faith are paramount. "For without faith, it is impossible to please God, for those who come to God must believe that he is and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him" ~ Hebrews 11:6. In this verse we find co-equals here, namely 'faith' and its brother 'belief'. Without these we are lost. How can we belief if we have no faith and how can we have faith without any belief? But as Christians, let me say this, we are more believers than Christian. Why? Because I know many Christians who are not believers, yet for the believers I know, they believe, and they are also Christian. Maybe a play on words, but the truth remains that today in America, the Christian faith is close to idol worship and carnality. It is rooted and rotted in the nation of America where the 'sugar plum gospel' and the 'fairy tale Jesus' sit around in a haze of unbelief and convince themselves everything will be okay. This is the time of the Laodacian church, no doubt, but we also have the 'Dead' Sardis church here as well. This is why, for those who will 'believe', and have 'faith', they must learn to lean on, rely upon, and trust in the Lord more than ever. Not giving themselves over to mindless thinking, or to men's tall tales, or to doctrines of men which are wrong, but they must learn to 'renew' their minds in Christ. No related posts.
