This Newsletter will go out on the Fourth of July, 2010. It is in this celebration that people will be having a good time. From picnics to parades, fishing to bbq; everyone will be doing something on that day. Flags will be flown on some houses, and for many this will be a day to reflect on the day itself. For many others, they will give no thought as to it. They take for granted the blessings and go on with their lives anyway. As I reflect on this nation and the cost in blood to maintain what we have today, I believe the true cost is lost. We fight wars today, and even when I was in the Navy, we fought then. It was Vietnam, and lots of good men and women lost their lives, were hurt, and more were disabled permanently. We were fighting communism they said and even then we were told if we did not stop them in ‘Nam’, they would take over all of Southeast Asia. Well, we pulled out, lost the war, and communism never took over the region. Yes communism took Vietnam, but today it looks more like a thriving democracy than anything else. I can’t help but ponder what happened! Where was the threat? Were we lied too? A lot of good people died on both sides and for what? Real Estate, a name, an ideal like communism, or what?

The grasslands lay out before in all directions as the road swung back and forth among the canyons, hills, and fields. The pavement was good and the road, itself had fairly heavy traffic. The antelope spotted along the fields in groups of 15-100 were a constant resident in these parts. Deer were grazing, but their presence not as the antelope was. The sage, lightly green with a bluish tinge swayed gently in the breeze as the sun beat down on the coming of the green this spring. Rain, snow, sleet in the spring were common and this year as others, it helped the vegetation grow in its usual courses. Related posts:

In the calm atmosphere of the moon, on the ‘Sea of Tranquility’, the eagle landed and stirred not only the dust that had settled but also the hearts and minds of people for generations. For the Apollo 11, it had been several days since leaving earth. But astronauts Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin, had made it with 30 seconds of fuel remaining, while Collins orbited in the command module Columbia. Breathing again regularly, the astronauts starting turning to normal color as they realized they were the first humans on the moon. This is recorded in an article on the Nasa.gov site where it is recorded for posterity that the ‘Eagle has landed.’ When the lunar module lands at 4:18 p.m EDT, only 30 seconds of fuel remain. Armstrong radios "Houston, Tranquility Base here. The Eagle has landed." It is here we find this ‘flattering vanity of delusion’. We are so convinced by our own lies and deluded senses that we cannot see what is coming. What is real? What is truth? Yes, they have the worlds wisdom and knowledge, but to know real truth, well that cannot be done by the flesh.

From week to week I sit down, daily, to pursue what the Lord God has called me to do. Day’s pass by, weeks move on, and months on the calendar don’t stop running their course. Now it is almost 2010. On the theatre, the 2012 Epic is raking in millions. This doesn’t surprise me. Americans are so bored with their lives and humdrum work a day schedule, along with the bills, they need or so it seems such things. Americans love to be frightened, excited, saddened, and go through story lines in a movie as if it were real. All of it, though, from the sound stage, setting, lines of script, and the makeup on the actors is for one reason. To make a movie that sells. To sell you the public on the entertainment of it and make millions in the process. In a word, it is delusion. Sometimes based on fact, or part fact, written and produced by man, that brings forth a story line and message. As a result the actors, or many of them become more than an actor, they become idols and stars. They rake in millions portraying characters that the public becomes enthralled with. No related posts. Darkness increases,
Its power reaches to all the Earth!
The rise of Evil continues,

Was there ever a kingdom so powerful as Rome? Was ever again a time when society itself was ruled in such power in the earth? There have been many such kingdoms, but surely the early church, its Apostles, and the believers all felt the presence of evil. They knew what darkness was. They knew what control was, by a government. They understood hatred, bloodshed, violence, and opposition. They knew foreign Gods and the idol worship that ensnared many a people. But they had also experienced the true power of the LIVING God. It was a birth of tremendous magnitude when the Son of God came to this earth to reveal the 'love of the Father' and the 'truth of salvation'. No related posts. Proud Heart, Proud Words, and Judgment

If there were ever a proud nation, that would be America, or so the thought comes. But the truth is, Israel, who knew the True and living God, saw its own pride and downfall as well. In fact since the time of the Babylonian destruction of Jerusalem in Jeremiah's day, they have faced the fact that their kingdom, temple, and ways were gone. In a moment, destroyed through the judgment the LORD God had sent. It was nevermore to be built again. Nevermore, that is until God brought his people back from all the world were he dispersed them.

As for America, its people, and the church in this nation, well pride goes with the territory of being one of most blessed nations on earth. That is, until the same God who destroyed Israel, Jerusalem, and its temple, sends judgment in its fullness upon this nation. In this we must understand that we are now and have been seeing God slowly withdrawing his blessing and sending his judgments upon this country. But we must also know that we are surely not the most wicked of the nations on earth. No, likewise, Israel and Judah was not as well. The one item both nations have in common is the fact they were both founded by and blessed through the LORD God. It was the LORD who established Israel and it was the LORD who saw that this nation would be created and also who blessed it raising it to the top of all nations. Related posts:

DESTROYERS WILL COME OUT

When I read in The Jerusalem Post (July 22) the dangerous and ridiculous words of Debra DeLee, the President and CEO of Americans for Peace Now; knowing that she has a willing ally in White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel who is also a strong supporter of Peace Now's self-destructive folly: I realize that the ancient verse: "Your destroyers will come out of your own midst" is dangerously true of the reality today. This is what DeLee dares write in her Obama-supporting article:

We at Americans for Peace Now, and our friends at Israel's Peace Now movement, believe that for the sake of its security, stability and long-term wellbeing, Israel should immediately reverse the settlement enterprise. And now, particularly now, instead of seeking "shticks and tricks" to evade a settlement freeze-in the words of New York Congressman Gary Ackerman, a staunch friend of Israel-Netanyahu should do whatever it takes to take advantage of the opportunity that Obama proposes Obviously, the Palestinians should take steps to show that they are serious about peace negotiations and Arab governments should do their part to support peace efforts, and the president is pushing on these fronts. Psalms 99:8 Thou answeredst them, O LORD our God: thou wast a God that forgavest them, though thou tookest vengeance of their inventions. 9 Exalt the LORD our God, and worship at his holy hill; for the LORD our God is holy. Psalms 147:11 The LORD taketh pleasure in them that fear him, in those that hope in his mercy. God is not have to do it, did He? He could have left Israel in Egypt with Pharaoh under bondage but he did not. He could have raised up a people from among other peoples and tribes, but He did not! The fact is historical today, the Hebrew’s were delivered from bondage to the Egyptian’s long ago. It is funny today as we look back on all this and the discussion about the Hebrew’s in Egypt sometimes remain around how could they of build the Pyramid’s, drag the large stones into place, and do all that building. From Egypt we also get the ancient ‘conspiracy’ tale of the Masons. We get so much from Egypt, myth, legend, and man’s idea’s. But lost in all the secularism, hype, and talk is the fact of a Sovereign God, called Yhwh, or Yahweh, who had a covenant with a person name Abraham. Tapping the Vine

Micah 3:6 Therefore night shall be unto you, that ye shall not have a vision; and it shall be dark unto you, that ye shall not divine; and the sun shall go down over the prophets, and the day shall be dark over them.
7 Then shall the seers be ashamed, and the diviners confounded: yea, they shall all cover their lips; for there is no answer of God.

When I speak of 'Tapping the Vine', I refer to making wine from unrighteous grapes. That means there are Christians and whole churches who follow this practice. It simply means that they, instead of being filled with the 'sweet Good Wine' of the Holy Spirit, which flows from the Good Shepherd, Y'Shua, Jesus Christ himself, they look after other Gods. For some time now I have covered the trouble with seeking after prophets, soothsayers, astrologers, and others who prophecy and make predictions of what is coming. Simply put, Christians today are not fully persuaded and in fact I believe many have not been taught that there is only one fountain we should go to. This is the same fountain Israel was told to go to. The difference today is we have the 'blood of the covenant' fulfilled through the Messiah Jesus, Y'Shua. We also have more fuller revelation of this salvation through the LORD and the arrival of the Holy Ghost on Pentecost. All this should be enough to bring the church in America to her senses, but it is not! Add to this, many just sit there in the pews and do the religious thing and really not seek the true Vine and his nourishment. Without Him, we can do nothing. Today the sad fact is, the people in this nation and even the church, "has trusted in their wickedness and wicked ways". Related posts:

That in mid-May, 2009, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu appealed to the United States to make a priority of stopping Iran from pursuing the nuclear bomb that threatens Israel's existence.

That the Obama administration refused.

Peres to hand him sovereignty over six places in the land were shattered thanks, in no small part, to my longterm readers like Dr. Daisy Stern, Bob Kunst and Prof. Hillel Weiss. They successfully informed the Israeli public of Peres' Vatican perfidy. And as for the Peres/Papal land seizure, curses, foiled again! The pope was plenty ticked by his disappointment and immediately blamed Israel for his crummy tour: Vatican seeks answers for low turnout for pope's Jerusalem mass Roman Catholic Church officials say they would like an explanation from Israel for the poor turnout at Pope Benedict XVI's open-air mass in Jerusalem last week. Monsignor Antonio Franco, the papal nuncio in the Holy Land, said Thursday that church officials are still trying to figure out what happened. He says he's received reports that worshipers with tickets were turned away at the entrance while others received their tickets too late. Some 5,000 worshippers expected at the May 12 mass next to the Garden of Gethsemane but no more than 3,000 people arrived. Footprints in the earth walking side by side
How have I made it thus far?

Did I ever think that it would end so abruptly?
Why have I been so foolish?
Why did I not learn quicker?
Why have I not done all I could have done?

The Footprint of Man

Yes it was in the beginning that God, brought forth the earth, the heavens, and all that therein is. It was this sovereign, just, and true God, whom then was known yet unknown. For when man first came, out of the earth so God formed man, then woman afterwards. Thus the relationship began between God and man.

Genesis 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. Genesis 2:18 ¶And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him. Genesis 2:22 And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.

Yet in this, man today does not rely on the veracity of it. Especially the bible and as the 'naysayers' hold to 'Darwinism which opposes creationism.' In this, for those who believe, that in the Lord God all things were created according to John 1, this is what matters most. The bible for many today is Gods record of what happened and this is our copy of that record. Bend Toward the LIGHT

I saw a new plant today, one I planted from the seeds of an apple. It had grown and was on the shelf. As I saw it, in the beginning of the day it was straight as I had just put it in the sunlight. Later on in the day after a portion of the days sun shining on it, it was bending toward the sun, the light!

Through the day the sun continued to shine on this small plant, it was growing and pointing about 45 degrees towards the sun where the rays of light came from through the window. As night came, I moved the plant onto the counter as it was small I tucked it gently near a corner. The morning came as usual and I saw the small green plant. It was still green and fresh, standing tall as ever. But it was standing straight up. Even with the kitchen light on, the plant never moved toward these rays of light.
