On this album was a song that did not become popular right away. The song had been composed to music by Pete Seeger in the 50's and recorded on his 1962 album. The Song, however, did not gain much notoriety though. The song if I mentioned it would immediately come to your lips and the chorus as well. Before Pete recorded it the Limeliters put it on their RCA records label and in their album called "To Everything there is a Season". It would be later recorded and released in an album in October of 1965 by the Byrd's who were formed in Los Angeles in 1964. The song was called, "Turn, Turn, Turn!" Psalms 91:1 Â Â¶He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty . One of the most loved Psalms is ninety one. It has been used by believers in the LORD God since written. Paramount within the church today, the modern movement we know of uses at least or believes this is one Psalm of protection the believer can stand upon. In the first verse alone we find that there are those who dwell, reside in, and live in the secret place, that hidden compartment within the God we know. It is reaching to the level where the Most High dwells. In verse one, Most High, is â€˜elyonâ€™ a title distinction name of God which puts the characteristic of God in the name itself. Elyon brings to us the paramount focus of the â€˜supremacy of God in Status and Powerâ€™. He is above all Gods. He is not just any God, but he is before all Gods and shall be after all Gods. His power, glory, and supremacy are unmatched. It is a power that when witnessed by mortal men will literally scare them to death. He is simply unmatched with no equal anywhere in the known world. He is God, Most High, â€˜elyonâ€™ above all there is, period. Nothing matches with his glory or Godhood. Not just any mortal man can dwell in the secret place. We see this with Israel as the presence of the LORD caused the people to remove themselves from close to the mount where the LORD descended and they all stood afar off. This time of the year the morning sky is usually clear, the stars are out, and on a full moon the landscape is readily seen. The time is four thirty in the morning; I have been up for about an hour now. Usually that is, however, some mornings the Lord wakes me up early, real early. Those times are spent in quiet with Him pertaining to what the early morning wake up call is about. Isaiah 1:21 ¶How is the faithful city become an harlot! it was full of judgment; righteousness lodged in it; but now murderers.

The Harlot has stood up.
Yea, she has declared, "not I, NOT I".
By what abominations do I live,
Am I judged by the LORD,
Nay, but we have please Him.
Our satchels are clean.
Our lips are pure.
Our hearts are as a crystal spring.
From whence cometh thy words?

Ezekiel 16:15 ¶But thou didst trust in thine own beauty, and playedst the harlot because of thy renown, and pouredst out thy fornications on every one that passed by; his it was.
Ezekiel 16:16 And of thy garments thou didst take, and deckedst thy high places with divers colours, and playedst the harlot thereupon: the like things shall not come, neither shall it be so.

The mistress of abominations,
Yea, she does deny all her sins.
For thus the Watchman says,
Listen well O' harlot,
Your eye is filled with pride,
The prick of the needle,
The goad of the stick,
The life well led in sin,
This does not move you.
You have made a covenant with death,
and with iniquity you are bedfellows,
Thy way is abominable to the LORD!

The Study we covered this week is called the ‘Grapes of Wrath’. It is found in Revelation chapter 14. The angel of God who has a sickle is told to ‘thrust in thy sharp sickle and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth, for her grapes are fully ripe’. It is here we get a picture of the harvesting of the earth and the winepress into which the grape go into. It is the ‘great winepress of the wrath of God.’ The Apostle Paul spoke that he knew the ‘terror of the LORD, therefore he persuaded men.’ He persuaded them to repent, seek God, believe in Jesus Christ, follow him, and keep his commandments.

Revelation 14:17 And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle.
18 And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe.
19 And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.
20 And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs.

Bend Toward the LIGHT

I saw a new plant today, one I planted from the seeds of an apple. It had grown and was on the shelf. As I saw it, in the beginning of the day it was straight as I had just put it in the sunlight. Later on in the day after a portion of the days sun shining on it, it was bending toward the sun, the light!

Through the day the sun continued to shine on this small plant, it was growing and pointing about 45 degrees towards the sun where the rays of light came from through the window. As night came, I moved the plant onto the counter as it was small I tucked it gently near a corner. The morning came as usual and I saw the small green plant. It was still green and fresh, standing tall as ever. But it was standing straight up. Even with the kitchen light on, the plant never moved toward these rays of light. I remember the words of David Wilkerson years ago talking about the ‘folly’ that would become inherent in Christian churches. One of those ‘follies’ was nudity! While preparing for one of our news shows I came across a church that heralded ‘complete nude Christian services’. There was even a segment where the ‘Pastor, nude himself’, proceeded to defend their idea as the interviewer listened to his response. I believe over the years I have seen almost everything in the church. Today, though, the slime and rebellion in the pulpit, meetings, and gatherings we call Christian take the cake. In other words, deception is bad and those attending are even worse at discerning what they are watching and experiencing.
If you could see in the spirit and look at the person performing in some of these meetings, you would see “unclean spirits like frogs, demons coming forth from the mouths of these people”, performing signs before a generation of people who are given over to lawlessness. It is the ‘utter folly’ being repeated today, a ‘folly’ that occurred in Israel’s day and is prophesied to occur again in the end times. It is here! Continue reading → Related posts:

Zephaniah 2:3 Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the LORD'S anger.

Violence takes the earth by storm.
The peaceful people shall be led,
Yea, as lambs to the slaughter.
Strong dominion shall weaken for the One who is to come.
He shall arise and seduce many.
By his arm shall more be afflicted and die,
Yet for the peaceful people with superior force upon them,
they shall not be utterly destroyed, for their God is with them.
Many of these shall be strong and do exploits in the name,
Yea, surely, in the name of their God.
For these be the times of Great persecution.

Come near saith my God to his people

The Coming Kingdom

Proverbs 14:34 ¶Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people. Summer is past here in this country. Leaves reveal their golden aura and are dropping to the ground like snow in winter, being gathered by the fall wind and blown about. Everyone is preparing for the coming cold months. For us, a heavy snow this time of year is nothing. Although, many times the worst snows come in the spring, usually before the real outbreak of warm weather. October in it’s essence for the nation we live in; called America is one of enjoying summer’s harvest and preparing for the coming holiday seasons. Wal-Mart by this time has the collection of Christmas items already out, along with their sacred Halloween teasers. For us, though, October is not about these things at all. It is and has been about the fall feasts of the Lord. They signify the harvest feasts and prophetically point to that which is coming. These feasts signify the completion of our salvation in Yeshua [Jesus Christ] Ha Massiach, His kingdom on the earth, and our coming together in Him on this earth. This years fall feasts are about over, with only one day left of Sukkot, called the Feast of Tabernacles. It is one feast mentioned in Zechariah. It is important and also tells us, in the new kingdom that Yeshua brings; the feasts will play an important role. Tabernacles, for one, will be kept by all the nations at the time. During the onslaught of persecution many a Christian bled his last drop of blood, the life giving force, forming a seed for the next generation of believers. The Lord led the way, for his friends, so too, we can follow our Lord, our Friend, and our Master into the depths of what he has called us unto: a greater good, a greater calling, a greater eternity, and a greater witness so that men may be saved. Jesus in John 15 speaks of the unity and union of the vine and the branches. This is a living breathing relationship. One where the Lord of Glory infuses those who are connected to him through faith and the work of the Holy Spirit with life giving Supernatural power that affects the Natural.
