“The greatest blessing is the redemption of all men through the atonement provided for us in the coming of the Son of God, Yeshua and his works, death, burial, resurrection, and ascension to the Father. Then finally his coming again to this earth to bring full redemption and glory to those who are his own.”

The summer has faded into fall, of sorts. As I write this the weather warning for our neck of the woods was for a frost that could kill gardens etc. So the one who is observant to these kind of warnings and who has a garden, will thus cover up their produce for the night to ensure a longer growing season.  Even now the temperature is having a hard time reaching 65 degree’s. The sun now has a short time span. We can clearly see the sun moving farther south as its rays tend not to shine through certain windows as it did just a month ago. The daylight is shortening up, the seasons are changing, and now is fall hunting. Fall fishing is also in the works just as those who love the snow are preparing their skis and other equipment for that time of the year.

The long and short of it is this, winter is much to long and summer much too short. That is, in these parts, anyway! But then, the weather doesn’t get as hot here as in other places. This year it reached triple digits for a very short time. Nothing like down south. The economy here for the most part  is growing, howbeit some aspects are definately slowing up! Even so, many new out of staters are seen arriving as they come for jobs!

As we enter September we find ourselves in the fall feasts. This month is Rosh Hashanah, and is connected to the ‘New Year’,  ‘seeking of the LORD’ and to the ‘Torah’. This starts ten days of ‘awe’ where many Jews prepare themselves for the day of repentance and fasting known as Yom Kippur. Rosh Hashanah is a time of celebration and of seeking the Lord for his blessing and guidance for the coming year. It is a time of reflection back at the previous year, thanking God for his provision. It is a time of enjoying a traditional feast along with ‘apples and honey’, which both represent the goodness, and sweetness of knowing our Savior Jesus Christ and his Father.

Thus Rosh Hashanah leads to the most holy day of the year for observant Jews who fast 26 hours during this time of Yom Kippur seeking God  to put their names in the ‘Book of life’. They still have no atonement for their sins through Yeshua Ha Massiach, but they seek God none the less.  We thank God for the work of the Cross, the blood of Christ, and the Love of God which has made our redemption possible. It is at this time, we seek the Lord for we have found that these feasts actually enhance and bring to the forefront the work of our God and his Christ, our Savior Yeshua.

Galatians 3:22  But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.
23  But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed.
24  Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.
25  But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.
26  For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
27  For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
28  There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
29  And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

For us, Jesus Christ literally became our fulfillment of all we do and are. Yet as followers, we are obedient to the faith and his call. In keeping these feasts, we do so out of love and in respect to the commandment and the early church who kept these also. Nevertheless, these bring a fulfillment in Christ Jesus. Jesus fulfilled the permanent redemption needed for all men and women who seek it on Yom Kippur. Christ already, permanently paid the price. On this day of Yom Kippur, we thank God for this redemption, pray, and seek him that all men, especially the observant Jews, would find Christ Jesus and the atonement he provides.

Towards the end of the month is ‘Feast of Tabernacles’, which in itself is a feast waiting to be fulfilled. In that, the Son of David, Jesus Christ will come and dwell or Tabernacle in Zion during the Millennial Kingdom.

1 Corinthians 3:16  ¶Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
1 Corinthians 3:17  If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.
1 Corinthians 6:19  What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own

Today we rejoice in this as “we are the temple of God and the Spirit of God dwells in us.” But this body will be put off, for it must die. Then we shall have a permanent tabernacle, made without hands. So as we rejoice during the ‘Feast of Tabernacles’, it reminds us of what Christ has done for us and in us. Yet he shall bring in a kingdom, a Throne, and will dwell or Tabernacle with us.  This is one prophetic aspect of Tabernacles.

2 Corinthians 5:1  ¶For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
2  For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven:
3  If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked.
4  For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life.

Yet it also is a reminder for many Jews and observant believers in Yeshua as well. They build a ‘suka’, a ‘tabernacle’, or ‘booth’ to remind themselves of dwelling in booths when the Lord God brought them out of bondage in Egypt.  Some believers at this time spend the time camping out and rejoicing in the Lord. This time of the Feast of Tabernacles is for rejoicing, giving thanks, and looking to what the Lord is going to do. He will bring in his Kingdom!

Leviticus 23:39  Also in the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when ye have gathered in the fruit of the land, ye shall keep a feast unto the LORD seven days: on the first day shall be a sabbath, and on the eighth day shall be a sabbath.
40  And ye shall take you on the first day the boughs of goodly trees, branches of palm trees, and the boughs of thick trees, and willows of the brook; and ye shall rejoice before the LORD your God seven days.
41  And ye shall keep it a feast unto the LORD seven days in the year. It shall be a statute for ever in your generations: ye shall celebrate it in the seventh month.
42  Ye shall dwell in booths seven days; all that are Israelites born shall dwell in booths:
43  That your generations may know that I made the children of Israel to dwell in booths, when I brought them out of the land of Egypt: I am the LORD your God.

Now as I write this, let me tell you this is not a theological paper to fully disclose all aspects of these feasts. Neither is it meant to tell anyone to keep these feasts. These feasts are kept in the heart and those who do these, keep them as they are led by the Spirit of God. These are about loving the Lord God our Father and Jesus Christ our Savior. It is about seeking and understanding what our God has done to bring redemption to us. The fact that the ‘Feast of Tabernacles’ will be kept in the millennium says volumes to the keeping of it.  For it will be in Zion that the Son of David, Jesus Christ, Yeshua Ha Massiach will be on the throne of David. It will be to his Tabernacle that all men will come to worship the King, the LORD of hosts and to keep the feast of tabernacles.

Zechariah 14:16  ¶And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.

For our household, the fall feasts celebrate the harvest. Here is both the physical harvest of gardens, fields, and all that it entails in this aspect of sowing seed and reaping the fruits of that labor.  They see God as the true and ultimate source of all blessing and even cursing. That in life, God is in charge. He gives men life to enjoy and also allows us to have fruit from our labors. In this, we can literally live in and enjoy what the Lord has given to us. These feasts look forward to the time when the “New Year”, or Rosh Hashanah celebrated will be the ‘millennial kingdom’ of our King Jesus Christ, Yeshua. It is the start of and not the ending of the life the Lord God has planned for all those who love him.  This also sees to the future when a permanent redemption and atonement is fulfilled when we become like our Lord and live in his presence. This will be the time when the ‘tabernacle of God’ will be with men. In its fulness and with the Son of David, Yeshua Ha Massiach who will rule and reign forever.

This is the time of the feasts, and the prophetic eye that I see these with. They thus are a time not of servitude nor obligation, but of love to obey.  It is an experience of joy and of reflection for what he has done for all of us. It is a time to see ahead with faith and understand no matter what comes, our reward is steadfast and sure, if we do not give up! It is in this that we all must steadfastly and resolutely cling too. For the Kingdom of God we are in and grafted into is one of Power, Redemption, Forgiveness, and most importantly of Love. While many other faiths claim to offer many things, they do not give nor can they give the Father. For only through Jesus Christ can you come to Him.  Faiths today such as Islam live in a conquering and steadfast slaughter of people everywhere to bring in their faith. We live by faith knowing that we are in the “Kingdom of God”, the only True God and Father and Jesus Christ his Son. We do not fear men, kingdoms, nor what is coming, because we know him, in whom is all truth!

1 Corinthians 15:22  For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
23  But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ’s at his coming.
24  Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.
25  For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.
26  The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.
27  For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him.
28  And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.

As we close down the days of 2010, let us enter into the next one of 2011 with full faith in the Son of God who died for us. It is at this time, this New year, Rosh Hashanah, unlike the secular celebrations of the solar calendar, we look ahead and ask Gods blessings, richness, sweetness, and guidance to us. We do so knowing that God directed us to do so in his Word. It is the same feast our Lord kept, the Apostles kept, and the early church. Yet whether you keep them or not, the truth does not change, Jesus Christ died for all sinners, of whom, Paul said “I am chief”. Well if Paul the Apostle thought of himself as the “chief” of sinners, where do you and I stand?  Truth is, we stand, neath the power of the blood, the cleansing tide of redemption flowing from the Savior upon the cursed tree of calvary. It is this work and this work alone that separates us as people who have true hope and those who only think they have hope!  Our Hope rests in the work of Jesus Christ. It is here that this is indeed the stone the builders rejected.

1 Timothy 1:15  This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.

John 1:10  He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.
11  He came unto his own, and his own received him not.
12  But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
13  Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
14  And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
15  ¶John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me.
16  And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace.
17  For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.

For us at this time, it is the Fall, a harvest of blessing. To remember, thank God for, all he has done in us and in those of our family and friends and also literally for us. In this we find physical blessings combined with Spiritual blessings.  Yes, it is the time of the fall, winter approaches, but for now at this time, all is put on the back burner. We will seek the Lord, look to him, and find a time appointed in this season to worship him and seek his face. We do this at this time in the fall feasts, but not this time alone, for daily, we seek him. This is just a time appointed in the seasons of God and man to stop what your doing and look to the Redeemer and your God.

“The Testimony and Evidence that Makes a Believer a Believer”

The Son of God, Jesus Christ

John 1:34 And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God.

I like the Gospel of John. In this book the Holy Ghost witnesses to the truth of the Son of God. It pulls no punches and literally declares that the Father sent his only begotten Son into the World. Called the “Lamb of God” by John the Baptist in Chapter one, which refers to the ‘consolation of Israel’ many devout Jews were waiting for. When this arrived, many had been waiting for him and yet, many others did not even recognize him. God was doing a work and those who tried to figure this out by mans wisdom or by mans spirit within them, could not. This could only be discerned and known through God by the Holy Ghost.

Above John plainly tells it like it is. Simply saying “I saw and  bare record this is the Son of God.” By this statement it meant that the long waiting, suffering, and devout jews who had sought God on this matter would understand who he was talking about. For they knew God kept his promise and that this God would send the Messiach. He not only saw but he bore record of it. The record itself was written in John and also heard by many around him as he declared the following:

John 1:29  ¶The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.

John 1:36  And looking upon Jesus as he walked, he saith, Behold the Lamb of God!

John even went further than merely saying who this was. He describes in detail how the Lord God told him how to recognize the Messiah. In this we find a God that actually gets involved with men on their level. A level that brings understanding to them so that they may be saved from Gods wrath. It is a story that goes back to the foundations of the world, yet one that even today is told. It is a story of Gods love and the Son he sent and the Son who came. For the same Son of God who came did so out of love and he said himself “you don’t take my life.”  This Son of God, whose Father had given him the power said, “No man taketh it from me [meaning his life], but I lay it down of myself.” Saying further Jesus said “I have power to lay it down and I have power to take it again.”  This was a commandment given to him by his Father.  I can see this as the Father says, “are you sure you want to do this.?” The son then saying “sure Father, for I love you and love those who I am sent too.” Then his Father turns lovingly to the Son and says “this is the commandment I give you, You have power to lay down your life and you have power to take it again. For no man shall take it from you.”

John 10:17  Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.
18  No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.

In another section Jesus says he could “now pray to my Father and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels.” Well according to resources, a legion is numerically figured at 6000. So that’s more than 72,000 angels, not men!

Matthew 26:53  Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?

In Genesis chapter 19 it only took two angels to destroy all of Sodom and Gomorrah. In another instance an angel of the Lord went before Israel during her deliverance from Egypt separating them from the Armies of Pharoah.  In Kings we read of an angel of the LORD who smote 185, 000 Assyrians, the text reads “in the morning, they were all dead corpses.” In view of this, that would be enough strength to deliver the Son of God from all men and nations, including the very Romans and Jews who rejected him. This said, the Son of God came, because he loved and knew what it would take to give us Hope and Redemption! He came and died for all men out of love, for no man nor nation could of killed him just to get rid of him. No, he had the power and the commandment from the Lord that said, “men will not take your life”. Jesus Christ, gave of his life out of love, as the Messiah.

2 Kings 19:35  ¶And it came to pass that night, that the angel of the LORD went out, and smote in the camp of the Assyrians an hundred fourscore and five thousand: and when they arose early in the morning, behold, they were all dead corpses.

Zacharias who was the husband of Elizabeth [i.e. mother of John the Baptist] prophesied over John saying that John would be a prophet and he would go before the face of the Lord to prepare his way. It is here that we find him saying on this note “the dayspring from on high hath visited us.”

Luke 1:76  And thou, child, shalt be called the prophet of the Highest: for thou shalt go before the face of the Lord to prepare his ways;
77  To give knowledge of salvation unto his people by the remission of their sins,
78  Through the tender mercy of our God; whereby the dayspring from on high hath visited us,
79  To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.

Then, there is Simeon a devout man who lived in Jerusalem. The Holy Ghost was upon him and he was specifically waiting for the ‘consolation of Israel.’ The one who would be sent from the LORD God to redeem his people and raise them up. This would be a consolation, a redemption from their past troubles. This would be accomplished in the sight of men and nations. It was not done in a closet or secret, so to speak.

Luke 2:25  ¶And, behold, there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simeon; and the same man was just and devout, waiting for the consolation of Israel: and the Holy Ghost was upon him.

Simeon specifically speaks to the fact of him seeing “thy salvation”, which “thou has prepared before the face of all people,” and “this would be a light to Gentiles and glory to thy people Israel.”

Luke 2:30  For mine eyes have seen thy salvation,
31  Which thou hast prepared before the face of all people;
32  A light to lighten the Gentiles, and the glory of thy people Israel.

These are just two I have spoken about, but add in the others, some named and others unnamed all of which were touched by the Hand of God when the Messiach came to this earth. The supernatural, GOD, the LORD, who is Spirit, the Father of all Spirits, and Father of us all, reached down to touch all those who would let him. This demonstration of love was manifested in his only begotten Son who became the Lamb of God, the Passover Lamb, which was sacrificed upon the tree. Thus, being made a curse, [i.e. for everyone who hangs upon a tree is cursed]. The Lamb was sacrficed with the shedding of his innocent blood for all of people. The only requirement is to receive him and believe. This would involve a turning from our own ways and to Gods ways. This believe, trust in, rely upon, and cling to this God and his Savior Son, Jesus Christ being the paramount cornerstone of our redemption. It is called faith!

This, of course, is a work done by the Holy Spirit. Truly a move of God in the lives of men and nations. Even today many come to the Lord and others try to find him through ‘mans spirit of understanding’, or ‘mans will power’ or through ‘mans wisdom’. None of these, however will place you in the position to know this God or his Son. It comes through the manifold move of God by his Spirit in your life. You are literally born again by the Spirit of God, the finger of God in your spirit. A supernatural LORD charged and manifested Son ship begins. God brings you by his power unto himself.  These who came, did so in faith believing with hearts that sought Gods help. They turned from their own ways [repentance] and turned to the way of the LORD.

John 1:12  But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
13  Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

John 3:5  Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

For me I can still remember the road and the miles out on a highway [i.e. fairly busy one at that], where I pulled over my truck and finally gave it all the LORD. I gave my sins, my stubbornness to his ways, and my will to his will. I had gone to church and went to church camp since a boy! But the one moment I remember is this God speaking to me. Words that vibrated my body, soul, and mind that day. There was not one other person in that truck, but like the Apostle Paul on his horse going to Damascus, I was in my truck driving away from trouble. Paul was knocked off his horse literally and saw the LORD and heard the voice. I was knocked off my self will and delivered from my trouble. I heard the voice of the LORD and knelt beside the road right after the LORD spoke. It was thunder, yet tender, and not commanding. I could have ignored it, thank God I did not. I do not know if anyone passed by on the busy highway that day, I’m sure they did. If they did, they would have seen me kneeling beside the pavement and cactus that day head bowed and praying. That started a long journey. But in it all, it came from no man. In it all, God spoke and I listened. His words were driven to my heart and soul. I knew that this was my Father! I knew this was the day!

Today many argue about Jesus Christ, Yeshua Ha Massiach. They are concerned over religion, over faith, over Christianity, over nations, over everything. The denominations are divided, the Pastors are busy, and the congregations are something else.  Many Jews have a hard time believing because they require a sign. They have followed innuendo and false truths on the Messiah since the jealous scribes, pharisee’s, and priests made up false stories about the Messiach. But God said this was the “stone that the builders rejected.”  In truth, today among both Jew and Gentile, this Messiah, Jesus Christ can only be found through the Holy Ghost. Mans wisdom, teachings, and all worldly philosophies will not find the heart of God on this matter. It only comes from a true repentant heart seeking the truth and the true God.

This Messiach as prophesied by Zacharias would be the cause of the fall of many and the rise of others. There will be some who will not believe no matter what. Still there will be others who are lifted up after they do believe. This Messiach is truly to become the focal point of the battle to come. In this we will see the Hand of God which will work in his believers lives as they walk in Him and testify to the truth of the Messiah. A Truth that they have experienced themselves firsthand. A Truth that brings a supernatural experience with the true and living God.  A Truth that cannot be visited by mere wisdom of men or the worlds ways. It is a Truth born and bred out of the heart of God for all men who will seek him in Spirit and in Truth.

Jeremiah 29:13  And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

Ezekiel 11:19  And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh:

John 4:23  But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.

John 4:24  God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

Ephesians 1:13  In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

In this you will join countless others who have already said this along with John, “I have seen and testified that this is the Son of God.” This is an Experience born of God, by God, and through his Holy Spirit.  I say to you today, I  “have seen the Salvation of God and do testify that the one whom I write, speak, and testify about is Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God. This is the True God and Eternal life, Amen.”

John 17:3  And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

1 John 5:20  And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.

Modern day Jerusalem with its fences and trouble

Above, Modern Day Jerusalem, with its fences and trouble, just one part of it is pictured above, taken by Jerry Golden, Jerusalem

“For Zion’s Sake,
She shall not be empty,
But I shall Fill her,
Yea, with the redeemed of the L-RD,
I the L-RD, mighty to Save,
Full of mercy to those
Who seek me in truth”

Zion in the time of David, the prophets, and in Christian times, was known as Jerusalem, the City of David. In 2 Samuel scripture says in verse seven “David took the strong hold of Zion: the same is the city of David.” Zion is Jerusalem, to many today who look for it to be a city of righteousness in the earth. There is ‘Secular Zionism’ which seeks a secular institution of which the same name is derived. These Secular Zionists push to reign in governmental form in the earth and established their own idea of Zion and not the Lords.

However, when we speak of Zion, we speak of Jerusalem, and in particular that time when our Lord will come and take up the ‘Throne of David’ and rule until all enemies are put down. In Revelation, John brings out that those who overcome will be ‘granted to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame and am set down with my Father in his throne’. Today the Lord
as scripture states in Hebrews is sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. But one day he shall be seated in his own throne! Which scripture states “unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is forever and ever.”

Revelation 3:21
To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

Hebrews 12:2
Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Hebrews 1:8
But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom

Then when we look at Zion, it is that place where God has set up the throne of David, which is being ruled by the ‘Son of David’, Jesus Christ, Yeshua Ha Massiach. It is Jerusalem, where Christ shall rule and reign with those who take part in the first resurrection. It is this one where those who ‘sleep’ in Christ and those who are ‘alive’ at his coming will be united with their Lord. It is this which will begin the Thousand year literal reign of Christ on Earth.

Revelation 20:4
And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
5  But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
6  Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

Zion, though is a concept, a promise, and one that the Lord promised to fulfill. Isaiah in chapter 62 speaks of this fulfillment saying that “for Zion’s sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalems sake I will not rest until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burneth. This was to be a light for the nations all along, but only certain times and era’s like the reign of David and Solomon, did it shine forth in power and glory to the nations. From this place and at those times, the nations knew of the God of Israel and his strength. Today, though, many religions and peoples all claim Jerusalem. But Jerusalem was established by the LORD God for His people and none other. Many Messianic and Christian believers know the Lord has chosen Jerusalem. He will be there, and in its midst will be his Throne. The nations will come to Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of Hosts. Isaiah speaks of the Gentiles beholding the glory and righteousness of this city, called Zion.

Zechariah 14:16
And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.

Isaiah 62:1
¶For Zion’s sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burneth.

Isaiah 62:2
And the Gentiles shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory: and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the LORD shall name.

The Lord God has always sought to bring Zion to its glory. The former ways and paths will be forgotten, there will be a remnant, and the Lord God and the Lamb will be in its midst. For those who have hoped in the Lord, sought him, and trusted in the ‘Passover’ Lamb, this will be the ‘time of the millennial kingdom on earth’. This will be a new time, new era, and the Lord will dwell among his people. The once forgotten city, crushed city, oppressed city, sieged city, and one fought over for centuries will now be permanently and forever claimed by the LORD God. Those who are called the ‘people of God’, both Jew and Gentile, male and female, will be united in Christ Jesus the ‘Passover Lamb’. There will be no more enmity, hatred, and division. The culmination of Gods plan will bring those who ‘trusted in the Lords mercy’ to that point of victory in Him, through Christ.

The City is described as being a crown of Glory, finally, in the hand of the LORD. It shall be a royal diadem, and no more will it be forsaken or desolate because of its sins and bloodshed. God will rejoice over Zion and also over those who are the redeemed, the remnant of the LORD. It is this that the Watchman, even today, ‘cry aloud’ about! Watchman are never to keep silent until the Lord God establishes and in fact makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth. A joy, a glory, a city full of the ‘light and glory of God’ in the earth. In it will be plenty, rest, and abundance of peace in our God!

Isaiah 62:3
Thou shalt also be a crown of glory in the hand of the LORD, and a royal diadem in the hand of thy God.

Isaiah 62:4
Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall thy land any more be termed Desolate: but thou shalt be called Hephzibah, and thy land Beulah: for the LORD delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be married.

Isaiah 62:5
For as a young man marrieth a virgin, so shall thy sons marry thee: and as the bridegroom rejoiceth over the bride, so shall thy God rejoice over thee.

Isaiah 62:6
¶I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night: ye that make mention of the LORD, keep not silence,

Isaiah 62:7
And give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth.

Isaiah 62:8
The LORD hath sworn by his right hand, and by the arm of his strength, Surely I will no more give thy corn to be meat for thine enemies; and the sons of the stranger shall not drink thy wine, for the which thou hast laboured:

Isaiah 62:9
But they that have gathered it shall eat it, and praise the LORD; and they that have brought it together shall drink it in the courts of my holiness.

Isaiah 62:10
¶Go through, go through the gates; prepare ye the way of the people; cast up, cast up the highway; gather out the stones; lift up a standard for the people.
Isaiah 62:11
Behold, the LORD hath proclaimed unto the end of the world, Say ye to the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy salvation cometh; behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him.

Isaiah 62:12
And they shall call them, The holy people, The redeemed of the LORD: and thou shalt be called, Sought out, A city not forsaken.

It is here that the ‘ransomed of the LORD’ shall finally, again I say finally! They shall finally, fully, and completely have their reward. The faith and patience of the saints shall be ransomed by the LORD himself as the ‘Passover Lamb’ and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy on their heads. They shall obtain joy and gladness, while sorrow and sighing shall flee away.” This is mentioned twice in Isaiah 35:10 and 51:11, two paramount promises for the remnant believer today. It is the fulfillment of those who have mourned, as in sackcloth and ashes, those oppressed, those downtrodden, all those who have lost their lives for the faith and testimony of Jesus Christ. It is for all those who had hoped in the Messiah, both Jew and Gentile alike. God shall wrap around you joy, as a garment of praise holds you in him. The despair, loneliness, heaviness, and all things that this life threw at you, will be gone. In its place hope and eternal salvation with the Joy of the LORD as your garment! In this the LORD will be glorified.

These scriptures in this article are just a few of the many on the millennial kingdom, heaven, the New Jerusalem, Zion, and our promise given to us that we shall come into the fulfillment of what God promised us if we do not give up!

Isaiah 35:10
And the ransomed of the LORD shall return, and come to Zion with songs and
everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.

Isaiah 51:11
Therefore the redeemed of the LORD shall return, and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy shall be upon their head: they shall obtain gladness and joy; and sorrow and mourning shall flee away

Isaiah 61:3
To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.

Isaiah 52:8
Thy watchmen shall lift up the voice; with the voice together shall they sing: for they shall see eye to eye, when the LORD shall bring again Zion.

Isaiah 60:14
The sons also of them that afflicted thee shall come bending unto thee; and all they that despised thee shall bow themselves down at the soles of thy feet; and they shall call thee, The city of the LORD, The Zion of the Holy One of Israel.

It is here that we must take a look that one of the paramount prophecies with Zion in it is one that pertains to our Lord. He fulfilled this scripture when he came into Jerusalem sitting upon as ass, and a colt the foal of an ass. It was this entrance that the people cried saying “Hosanna to the Son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest.” Here we see the city of Zion directly connected to the Messiah and the fact that Zion’s King cometh. It is this King, our Messiah, in whom we hope! It is in this King that all will be united in faith, belief, hope, and obedience.

Isaiah 62:11
Behold, the LORD hath proclaimed unto the end of the world, Say ye to the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy salvation cometh; behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him.

Matthew 21:4
All this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying,
5  Tell ye the daughter of Sion, Behold, thy King cometh unto thee, meek, and sitting upon an ass, and a colt the foal of an ass.
6  And the disciples went, and did as Jesus commanded them,
7  And brought the ass, and the colt, and put on them their clothes, and they set him thereon.
8  And a very great multitude spread their garments in the way; others cut down branches from the trees, and strawed them in the way.
9  And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the Son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest.
10  And when he was come into Jerusalem, all the city was moved, saying, Who is this?
11  And the multitude said, This is Jesus the prophet of Nazareth of Galilee.

The city of Zion and the children of promise is brought to us by the Lord who died for us. Joel says “whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered.” Further saying “as the LORD hath said and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.” Today we are come unto mount Zion [Sion], and unto the city of the living God, to an innumerable company of angels.  Here we get another picture in prophecy of the ‘New Jerusalem’. In this we have a ‘physical city called Jersualem’, and also called Zion. Then we have the ‘New Jerusalem’ where it is a heavenly city that shall come down out of heaven. This is pictured in Revelation and described by John. It will have a permanent place on the earth. This will be after the ‘new heaven and new earth are created.  This will be the start of Eternity, the millennial kingdom will be over. By this time the Devil will have been cast into the ‘lake of fire’. The Great White Throne judgment would be over and those not ‘written in the Lambs book of life’ shall also be cast into the ‘lake of fire’. In this same lake, ‘death and hell’ are also cast.

Joel 2:32
And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.

Galatians 4:26
But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.
27  For it is written, Rejoice, thou barren that bearest not; break forth and cry, thou that travailest not: for the desolate hath many more children than she which hath an husband.
28  Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise..

Hebrews 12:22
But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,

Revelation 3:12
Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.

Revelation 20:10
And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
11  ¶And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
12  And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
13  And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
14  And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
15  And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Revelation 21:1
nd I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
2  And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
3  And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
4  And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

In conclusion, let me say, Christ is our Hope and redemption. But Zion is also that which forms a hope in us as well. God has a redeemed people and a place called Zion to dwell with them. Zion, the New Jerusalem is where we shall find the Lamb and eternity! Zion represents the ‘life’ which the LORD God promised. We will have that ‘life’ culminating with salvation in and through Jesus Christ. A life not only just to be saved, but to be saved and in the presence of our God and the Lamb of God forever.
Therefore, For Zion’s sake, the Lord will not relent nor stop until he brings in Zion. For all scripture must be fulfilled. No man, no nation, no people, and no devil can stop the LORD God from establishing Zion in the Earth! He will do it and when he does, the ‘redeemed of the LORD shall come into Zion.!” Let us be one of those ‘redeemed, coming with songs of Joy!’ Let Gods everlasting ‘peace’ be in us and let his ‘salvation’ be upon our heads.

How Shall Israel Believe

How Shall Israel Believe?
By the Watchman Dana G Smith

“Speaking of the end times, Israel, the believers, being united in one in Christ, this article speaks to the saving of Israel, and the time of the end. It cannot cover all prophetic events that will occur. This is only an overview of Israel, Ephraim, Believers, and the scriptures describing these times. It is just a beginning for you to take the task of studying further.”

Here where we live snow is moving in around us, Halloween is here, winter is almost here, leaves are on the ground with some still in trees. The fall harvest is gone and the feasts over. Soon we will gather up all the leaves and put them in a pile for destruction.
All the above are signs of the changing seasons, so too, Signs are all around us at the ‘changing times’ which are here. The time line of the LORD continues and for his glory alone do nations and peoples exist.
Thus, the ‘Moral Standards’ of the LORD God for all men, nations, and peoples have been issued since the beginning of time and the creation of man. Soon, these ‘moral standards’ will be there amidst the sons of men and they will be summoned to the Throne of Judgment at the Last Time.
But these standards are those decree’s of The LORD that govern nations and men. At some point they may violate what God allows and thus his judgment falls upon them.

Be certain, nations will be judged
Be certain, people will be judged
Be certain, the church will be judged

Thus we have concluded that all under sin and must agree with scripture which sayeth:

Romans 3:9  What then? are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin;

It is this which we believe to the ‘saving of the soul’ found in Hebrews chapter ten and verse thirty-nine which we do hold to. It is why our Father, sent his son, Jesus Christ, that is, to save the world. For by ‘wisdom the world knew not God’ 1Cor 1:21 and it is that which we labor, to bring those who think they know truth and wisdom, but don’t, the real truth.
The Apostle Paul lets us in on wisdom concerning this. In order to believe in the Messiah Yeshua, Jesus Christ the Jews require a sign. When you go to a Jew, a supernatural sign is what would convince them. The Gentiles or Greeks, however, require wisdom. A person can work to prove with scripture and historical facts the authenticity of Christ Jesus. Thus they would believe. Of course in this, there are those who will not believe no matter what. Add to that that some of either persuasion may feel led to require more to believe.

1 Corinthians 1:22  For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom:

But in this we can be certain, in order for them to believe, they have to hear, and in order for them to hear, they must hear it from someone, and in order for that to occur, that someone must be sent.

Romans 10:11  For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
12  ¶For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
13  For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
14  How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
15  And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
16  But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?
17  So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

This is where we come to Israel of the last days and end times. In Daniel it says that ‘Michael’ will stand up for the ‘children of thy people’ and there ‘shall be a time of trouble such as never was since there was a nation’. This is the time when ‘Jacobs Trouble’ is in full swing. The land of Israel is facing many enemies. Jerusalem is surrounded and all nations are gathered. There is much here prophetically, but there will be a time when ‘Michael’ the Archangel of God will stand up to protect his people. This is where Mark says “except the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elects sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days.” I believe these two scriptures point to the same time in Israel.

Mark 13:20  And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect’s sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days

.
It also says “at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.”

Daniel 12:1  ¶And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.

Malachi talks about the children of Israel and the proud of the people who have been ‘stout’ against the LORD. They were proud and happy, working wickedness and did not think judgment would befall them, and even tempted God and thought this would not bring judgment. It is here that Malachi also records those who truly ‘feared the LORD’ and ‘spake often one to another’, it was to these the ‘LORD hearkened’ and ‘heard it’, and thus a book of ‘rememberance’ was written before him for ‘them that feared the LORD and that thought upon his name’. This is one reference to the book of remembrance, according to JFB, means; for them, for their advantage, against the day when those found faithful among the faithless shall receive their final reward. Calvin responds to this as “those makes the fearers of God to be those awakened from among the ungodly mass (before described) to true repentance; the writing of the book thus will imply that some were reclaimable among the blasphemers, and that the godly should be assured that, though no hope appeared, there would be a door of penitence opened for them before God.”

Malachi 3:13  ¶Your words have been stout against me, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, What have we spoken so much against thee?
14  Ye have said, It is vain to serve God: and what profit is it that we have kept his ordinance, and that we have walked mournfully before the LORD of hosts?
15  And now we call the proud happy; yea, they that work wickedness are set up; yea, they that tempt God are even delivered.
16  Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name.

But looking at Daniel again where ‘Michael’ stands up for his people who are written in book, this takes place in the future, during ‘Jacobs trouble’, the great tribulation and for that context, the ‘book’ would be the ‘book of life’.

Revelation 20:12  And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works

.
It is before this time, however, that Israel who does not believe and has rejected the Messiah must come to believe. It is also here that I believe God is re-gathering all Israel, including Ephraim, the Northern tribes. These have been scattered in all nations and the Lord is gathering them to unite them in one in Israel. Ephraim, for his ‘seed shall become a multitude of nations’. In this gathering will come people from all over the earth, of the nations, who believe.

Gen 48:19  And his father refused, and said, I know it, my son, I know it: he also shall become a people, and he also shall be great: but truly his younger brother shall be greater than he, and his seed shall become a multitude of nations.

These people are Ephraim, who keep the commandments of God and the Faith and testimony of Yeshua.

Revelation 12:17  And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
Revelation 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

But it is these believers, Ephraim, who follow the LORD, in power according to Daniel, who will do ‘exploits’. Why? Because “the people that do know their God.” They will instruct many, bringing many to Christ in Israel by signs and wonders. This will convince the Jews, who will also see them keeping Gods commandments, and working in ‘signs and wonders’ in all holiness and dedication to the LORD. They will provide testimony and walk in the faith of Jesus Christ, just as the early church did. Along with that, many also will fall, by sword, by flame, by captivity, and by spoil, for many days. They shall fall to try them, to purge them, and to make them white, even to the end!

Daniel 11:32  And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.
33  And they that understand among the people shall instruct many: yet they shall fall by the sword, and by flame, by captivity, and by spoil, many days.
34  Now when they shall fall, they shall be holpen with a little help: but many shall cleave to them with flatteries.
35  And some of them of understanding shall fall, to try them, and to purge, and to make them white, even to the end.

Thus we will see come out of Israel believers, Jews who did not formerly believe in Jesus Christ, Yeshua Ha Massiach. Then the word of God will be fulfilled in Ezekiel, which says, “Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his fellows, and will put them with him, even with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one in mine hand.”

Ezekiel 37:19  Say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his fellows, and will put them with him, even with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one in mine hand.

In Revelation we see the sealing of the Tribes of Israel. But further on we read of a great ‘multitude which no man could number’. All of whom “came out of great tribulation”.

Revelation 7:9  After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;
10  And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.
11  And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God,
12  Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen.
13  ¶And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?
14  And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

These words “great tribulation” are also found in the end time discourse given by Jesus in Matthew 24. It says of that time, before the end:

Matthew 24:21  For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be

It is during the biggest upheaval in human history, that the LORD God will bring in multitudes of souls into his Kingdom. In the great tribulation, however, don’t get this mixed up with the ‘wrath of God’, that occurs after ‘war against the saints’ and Israel. The Destroyer will make war against both up and until the second coming. There will be only one group sealed and protected during that time, those who keep Gods commandments and the testimony of Yeshua.

Revelation 7:3  Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.

To all the saints it is also written how those living during that period overcame:
Revelation 12:11  And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

Revelation 20:4  And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

They Overcame by:
-by the blood of the Lamb
-by the word of their testimony
-loved not their lives unto the death
They were beheaded for:
-the witness of Jesus
-the word of God
-not worshipped the beast
-not worshipped his image
-neither received his mark upon their foreheads or in their hands

THEY LIVED
THEY REIGNED
With CHRIST A THOUSAND YEARS!

God is HOLY, Blessed be his Name Forever, For he alone, the LORD God, belongs glory and honor and to His Son, Jesus Christ, who is blessed forevermore, blessed be he who comes in the name of the LORD.

Prophetic Countdown in the Days of Awe!

Editors note: This is a recent article that I posted on our www.wingswatchman.org site. I have since put with it two important video”s, both of which highlight the strange going”s on in this nation. The trouble we have warned about is close. It is very close. Read this article and watch the video”s.

Zephaniah 1:18 Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them in the day of the LORD”S wrath; but the whole land shall be devoured by the fire of his jealousy: for he shall make even a speedy riddance of all them that dwell in the land.

Zephaniah 2:3 Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the LORD”S anger.

The world saw the dark day in which the Dow dropped 777 points in a one day nose dive at the beginning of the Jewish Holiday celebrating the New Year known as Rosh Hashanah. Putting this in perspective many analysts have been trying to calm the fears as major governments joined in the move to save the world economic system by buying up bad debt. Governments around the globe are putting together their own rescue packages as did our own Government after this historic drop of the Dow and the major US Wall street banks going under. As the American government nationalized the banks and put its own citizens in further debt, the nationalization of banks world wide have begun. The World officials and banking experts have been doing this in an attempt to save the world economy as fear spreads like a fire. Fox business news quoted Frank Davis, the director of sales and trading at LEK Securities who said “We”ve got fear selling going on. It”s hard to control logical when you have fear selling.”

Men”s Hearts fail them for fear of those things coming upon the earth [this includes financial crisis]

Luke 21:25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;
26 Men”s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

As Rosh Hashanah was finished in its celebration, it gave way to the ten day”s known as the “Days of Awe”, in which Jews spend their time fasting and praying to get their name in the book. This leads up to the holiest time of the year for Jews known as Yom Kippur, or literally ”Atonement”. On this day, a total food and water fast is combined with all day long prayers and worship. This is the day Jews seek to get their names ”sealed in the book.” During all these Holidays, known as God”s Holidays, the world economic situation has been on the forefront. It also tells the world that there is change coming and to prepare. The prophecies in the book will be fulfilled.

“Global Economic Trouble”

Revelation 6:5 And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand.
6 And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.
7 And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see.

Moreover, with the Nikkei index dropping to its lowest level in two decades, the world financial crisis is taking its toll. On this day, the day in which Yom Kippur begins at sundown, world markets are greeted by the Federal Reserve lowering its prime interest rate by a half point. The move to lower the rate was an historic one as the Bank of England, the European Central Bank, the Swiss Bank, Chinese Bank, and numerous others joined in to save the world economy.

“The Rise of the Beast who will shake the kingdoms, but will be brought down!”

Isaiah 14:13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.
15 Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.
16 They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms;

This is a sign of the times, prophetically. First on Rosh Hashanah we find the down dropped 777, a triumviral number of 7”s. Seven is a perfect, complete number, one of completion. With three of them on the downward spiral of the Dow, this signals a staunch warning. The year we have entered will be one of a financial crisis. It is one where the governments will not be able to handle. It is one where we find the LORD God shaking up the systems of government and their monetary markets as well. What these means is that the controls of what people buy and sell will now be even more controlled. Add to this more Governments taking on bad debt, centralizing banks, and having money problems. There is no better way to welcome the beast of Revelation, the son of Perdition in 2 Thessalonians 2 into the world than with this crisis. It also says to Americans that have had plenty, lived in excess, and worshipped the creature more than the creator; ”it is time to repent and seek the LORD.”

“Your riches are motheaten, they will be as fire to your soul!”

James 5:1 ¶Go to now, ye rich men, weep and howl for your miseries that shall come upon you.
2 Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are motheaten.
3 Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days.
4 Behold, the hire of the labourers who have reaped down your fields, which is of you kept back by fraud, crieth: and the cries of them which have reaped are entered into the ears of the Lord of sabaoth.
5 Ye have lived in pleasure on the earth, and been wanton; ye have nourished your hearts, as in a day of slaughter.

With the continuation of the financial crisis throughout these feasts which can be found in Leviticus 23, the warnings are to be taken very seriously. Now with Yom Kippur beginning at sundown tonight we find the historical move of all the banks worldwide following suit of the Federal Reserve and lowering interest rates. Along with this you find governments putting wads of money in the leaking dike of their own economies. The Son of Perdition, the beast, will have the power to control all financial interests. It is by no accident this is going on now. The LORD is warning the world that he is in control. We are living in that time when the great deceiver will appear. He will control all buying and selling. Today there is no better time to do this than now. With the ability in our technology to get instant access, credit, news, and have money flow from globe to globe in a short time, the control mechanisms will be put in place. With the American economy on the ropes, the dollar in trouble, the debt rising, the nozzle to credit tight, the world that follows our system of monetary policies will be in trouble as well. All this chaos is leading to the arrival of the Son of Chao”s, the child of perdition, the destroyer. Now granted, this arrival could be two years away, but the symptoms of the global money troubles are an invitation for this deceiver to appear. When he does, the issues facing world markets will be quieted. In short, this ”angel of light” will present solutions that the whole world will fall for.

The Son of Perdition, beast will control gold, silver, and will honor a god whom his fathers did not know!

Daniel 11:38 But in his estate shall he honour the God of forces: and a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honour with gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things.

The fall feasts all look forward to prophetically to the coming of the LORD Jesus Christ [Yeshua Ha Massiach]. Included in these is the time of repentance, examination, and seeking the LORD God, known as Yom Kippur. Add to this the time known as Sukkot or Tabernacles and you have a picture of the coming Messiah, Jesus Christ who will rule and reign in his Tabernacle from Jerusalem. He will also have all the nations come once a year to celebrate this ”Feast of Tabernacles”. The economy, money crisis, credit crunch, debt, and global ability to finance will be affected to the point that fear and panic will spread as never before. Add to this the full signs found in Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21 and you will have a true picture of what is coming.

Isaiah 55:6 ¶Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:

Acts 15:17 That the residue of men might seek after the Lord, and all the Gentiles, upon whom my name is called, saith the Lord, who doeth all these things.

For the believer today fasting, prayer, and seeking the LORD should be on their personal agenda. For the nations, peoples, and all children of disobedience, repentance is in order. We have but just started this road. The nations will be able to put duck tape fixings on this problem. The markets will continue to heave and swell. But in the end, the financial system will collapse as such, bringing in the true Globalization that many have been working for. In America, you have not seen anything yet. Trouble is coming; it is time to examine the sea worthiness of your life and family. See if it can bear up under the ”Storm” coming and the ”whirlwind of the LORD.”

Nahum 1:3 The LORD is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked: the LORD hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet.

It is time to take Heed to yourselves, don”t get caught up in the cares of this life so that the Day of the LORD come upon you as a surprise!

Luke 21:34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.
35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.
36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

In short, to summarize, this is just one of many signs pointing to the coming of the LORD. The fact that this sign has occurred during the Fall feasts, signifying a time of harvest, means that the LORD’S harvest is coming and we are to take these events as serious. It is a warning! Two harvests will be reaped, the harvest of wickedness and the harvest of righteousness. One represents rebellion, the other obedience. The global situation will continue to worsen as the one world control by the beast will be finalized upon mankind who has rejected the ‘love of the truth’. [See 2 Thessalonians 2] In Yeshua, atonement has been made, the warnings are continuing to go out, and the kingdom of the LORD is coming. It is time to prepare. The trouble and turmoil will continue on all levels, but those who are obedient to the LORD and follow him, will find out the LORD takes care of his own. It is time to trust, keep your loins gird about with the Truth the LORD has given to us in His Word. Then having done all to stand, therefore, stand, with your shield of faith, quenching all the arrows of the enemy.
